That is all we have to present from Sporskeeda. Enjoy a wonderful evening if you joined us from Oman or India. And, sleep well if you tuned the match from PNG. For readers who still want more cricket action, don't go anywhere as we will be back with Bangladesh vs Scotland up in the coming few minutes.

Till then, here is your host Abhishek alongside co-commentator Pradeep signing off. Bye-bye and take care.
Zeeshan Maqsood: We need to minimize our mistakes in the fielding. I admit that but we will come stronger. We had 8 bowling options and we always come up with that. Apart from fielding and catching, we were good overall. There was some nervousness. Inshallah, we will come stronger.
Assad Vala: I think losing two wickets for no runs put us in the backfoot. In the end, we collapsed. We knew 129 was never going to be enough. We tried to put Oman under pressure but we couldn't do that. Oman were the better side and deserved to win. We were looking for 160+ but when Charles got run out and I got out as well, the lower order couldn't do much. Oman got crucial wickets in crucial time. Positives? The way we fought back after losing two wickets and getting to powerplay for 2-41. I think we showed some positives. We need to work well in the coming games.
Chasing a target of 130 runs to win in a batting friendly pitch, Oman knew they were in for an easy chase. Aqib Ilyas and Jatinder Singh opened the innings for the first time in their career and they didn't disappoint the home crowd with their elegant batting.

Switch hit. Cover drive. Reverse sweep. The pull shot. Square cut. There was not a single shot in the cricket dictionary that the duo didn't play. PNG tried seven different bowlers to break the partnership but failed to do so.

Jatinder and Ilyas were indeed given some lifelines courtesy of some dropped catches. And, they made the most of it by hitting the ball out of the park. Jatinder and Ilyas were patient and didn't try to hammer all the balls they faced. They waited for poor balls to come and struck them cleanly. On other occasions, they took singles to rotate the strike.

Oman will face Bangladesh and Scotland next on 19th and 21st respectively and will require a win at least in either of the fixtures to qualify for the Super 12. With this win, they have managed to get an NRR of +3.135 and that will help them in the final game against the European nation.

Don't go anywhere as we will be back with Bangladesh and Scotland T20 match in a few minutes.
Zeeshan Maqsood: My over turned out to be the turning point (Three wickets in one over). After that, they couldn't post more runs. My strength is I don't concede loose runs. I just try to keep it tight. We just wanted to not give them extra boundaries and loose balls to score. The run out by Nadeem and Assad Vala's wicket by Kaleemullah also turned things. We knew if they posted 130 or 140, it could have been an easy victory for us. We knew batting second would have been advantageous as the ball would come to the pitch nicely. And, Jatinder and Ilyas ensured they got the job done. Thanks to all our supporters and family for helping us so far.
Zeeshan Maqsood gets the MoM award for his bowling figures of 4-0-20-4.
It was always a matter of when and not if Oman will win this match and Jatinder Singh ends PNG's misery with that SIX. A one-sided contest but Oman will be pleased with their efforts as it will help them post a formidable NRR should that be needed in the end.

Oman win this match by 10 wickets.

13.4 Charles Amini to Jatinder Singh, SIX! GAME, SET AND MATCH! It cannot get more clinical than this from Oman, they have announced themselves with a thumping victory over PNG here. Drops it too short on the middle and off and Jatinder was quick to rock back and PUMMELS it way over the deep square-leg fence for a maximum and finish the annihilation!
Half-century for Aqib Ilyas. Third one for him in T20I career. A well-deserved one.
13.3 Charles Amini to Aqib Ilyas, length delivery on the off-stump as Ilyas leans into it and runs it down to long-off and gets to his FIFTY as well.
13.2 Charles Amini to Jatinder Singh, short on the outside off as Jatinder on the backfoot cuts it through the cover region and for another single.
13.1 Charles Amini to Aqib Ilyas, drags the length short on the off-stump as Ilyas gets behind the line and works it down to long-on for an easy single.
Siaka has failed to maintain his length on a number of occasions as he got it too short. Oman require 8 runs to win from 42 deliveries.

12.6 Lega Siaka to Jatinder Singh, short on the off-stump and Jatinder on the backfoot bunts it straight to the cover fielder and they decide against taking the single.
12.5 Lega Siaka to Aqib Ilyas, short down the leg-side as Ilyas whacks it but the short fine-leg fielder gets across to stop it and they sneak in a sharp single.
12.4 Lega Siaka to Jatinder Singh, full delivery on the off-stump as Jatinder skips down the track and drills it down to long-off for another single.
12.3 Lega Siaka to Aqib Ilyas, short on the outside off as Ilyas on the backfoot cuts it through the cover region and picks up another single.
12.3 Lega Siaka to Aqib Ilyas, WIDE! That's too short and goes way outside the off-stump and Siaka will have to reload.
