Rakib bowled the final over closed things off nicely for his side and made sure that BAA were not able to go on to chase this total down. A great start to ECS Austria this was as we witnessed a nail-biting contest first up.
In the death overs, BAA bowler Rakib helped his side make a great comeback by getting rid of the set batters Naeem and Sikander. The boundaries were need of the hour for PKC but Asif bowling the penultimate over continued to keep things tight and did not leak any boundaries.
As it looked like BAA were starting have a stronger hold on the match, Sikander decided to go berserk as he tonked Gursevan for a couple of boundaries and a maximum to which brought down the required run rate drastically for PKC.
Hassan bowling the 4th over did create a couple of chance to break the building partnership but both the chances were dropped in the field. Fortunately for BAA this did not yield much damage as Gursevan got the wicket of Arif right in the following over.
But Amir batting at the other did not stop as he continued to press on and found the boundaries to keep up with the required run rate. PKC went on to have a decent powerplay and the duo of Amir and Arsalan looked in total control.
Coming in to chase 92 runs, PKC had a decent start. BAA bowlers did bowl well but they did leak a few extras helping PKC get bonus runs. Asif bowling the second over drew the first blood and got the wicket of PKC opening batsman Naveed.
Too good from BAA and specially Rakib who bowled 2 overs in the death and conceded just 15 runs and took 2 big wickets to get his side into the match. He potentially won the game for his side as well with the ball by bowling the final over and not conceding a boundary at all.
Over: 10 | Summary: 2 1 2 0 1 1 Bowler: Rakib Islam Score: 86/5
9.6 Rakib Islam to  Umair Tariq, 1 run, good length ball on off stump, Tariq hits the ball to square-leg for a single.

9.4 Rakib Islam to Adeel Tariq, dot, fuller ball of off stump, Tariq cannot hit the ball, an important dot. Ohh this makes the equation more simple, PKC need 2 boundaries or a six and a couple
9.3 Rakib Islam to Adeel Tariq, 2 runs, good length ball on middle stump,  Tariq hits the ball to square-leg for a couple. 8 from 3 now, still anyone's gane
9.2 Rakib Islam to Umair Tariq, 1run, short ball on leg stump, Tariq hits the ball to square-leg for a single. Down to 10 runs needed in 4 balls now, they need to find a boundary in the next couple of balls
9.1 Rakib Islam to Umair Tariq, DROPPED! Fuller ball on off stump, Tariq hits the ball high in the air, the man at deep third-man drops another chance and the batsman takes a couple. Down to 11 from 5 balls now
Rakib Islam will bowl the final over
13 runs are needed from the final over. BAA bowlers are doing great towards the end here as they are not allowing PKC batters to score those boundaries at all.
