Commentary

This has been Pradeep and myself (Rishab) as we bid adieu for the moment then. More cricketing action coming your way only on this space which you surely do not want to miss out. So do stay tuned to catch all of it and more!

A terrific all-round win for Punjab Rotterdam that will also boost their net run-rate. They were brilliant with the ball in the first innings to set this game up as they restricted Salland to just 60 runs. The target was certainly going to be an easy one for them and an opportunity to gain confidence as well, which is exactly what they did.

Both the openers remaining unbeaten and getting the job done rather comfortably with some power hitting, having all ten wickets in hand. They will be thoroughly happy with this all-round and convincing performance, as they carry momentum into the next game.

As for Salland, there was really not a lot their bowlers could have done with that total. 60 runs were never going to be enough and this is a heavy loss for them, where they struggled with both bat and ball. They will have to lift themselves up as they will get another opportunity to redeem themselves in the game to come!

Done and dusted! As easy as you like it from Punjab Rotterdam then. Unbeaten partnership and they have won with all wickets to spare, and about half the overs as well. A clinical performance and a much-needed win for them as well this!
