Post-Match Presentation: -

Dwayne Bravo, the Winning Captain of the Delhi Bulls: -
We keep challenging ourselves and the boys are playing good cricket. Not concerned (about not batting first yet), the team we have, we will do well even if we bat first. Very happy with the batting unit and the bowling unit as well.

Evin Lewis is the Player of the Match for his quickfire 48* (18).
This has been an outstanding chase from the Delhi Bulls, who courtesy of the blisteringly quick 64-run unbeaten partnership for the 2nd wicket between Evin Lewis and Ravi Bopara, make short work of what was a relatively competitive target of 108 runs, by finishing at 111/2 from 7.2 overs, as they win with 9 wickets with 16 balls to spare. Evin Lewis remains unbeaten at 48* from just 18 balls, while Ravi Bopara bringing out a heavy-artillery cannon disguised as a bat, staying unbeaten at 37* from just 15 balls. For the Qalandars, their lone wicket-taker was Ahmed Daniyal, who took out Rahmanullah Gurbaz at an individual score of 17 from 12 balls, but leaked runs otherwise, to end at 1/31 from his 2 overs. The other bowlers for the Qalandars too took a tonking around, with the exception of the veteran Sohail Tanvir, with Mohammad Zahid being hit for 0/35 in 2 overs, Chris Jordan was 0/16 in his 1 over, left-arm spinner Sultan Ahmed also conceded 16 from his lone over but Sohail Tanvir looked the only bowler in control, with 0/8 from his one over & Samit Patel bowled the last couple of balls of the game, conceding 4 runs. This was a rampage win for the Delhi Bulls, who go to the top of the points table.
7.2 Samit Patel to Ravi Bopara, FOUR! Full toss on the off stump, Bopara waited on for that one, thumped it hard through extra cover, and gets a boundary to seal the deal for his side as the Delhi Bulls win the match by 9 wickets
7.1 Samit Patel to Ravi Bopara, full length ball outside the off stump, Bopara is beaten for his outside edge, no run
That's the over that's killed the game, with the Bulls ramming 25 runs from it, as they move to 107/1 after 7 overs, with just 1 run needed from 18 balls. This partnership has blasted the fight out of the Qalandars, who now ask Samit Patel to complete the formalities.
Over: 7 | Summary: 4 6 4 4 1 6 Bowler: Mohammad Zahid Score: 107/1
6.6 Mohammed Zahid to Evin Lewis, SIX! Full length delivery on the middle stump on that occasion, Evin Lewis moves away on the legside and thumps the ball high and handsome for a huge maximum. Only a single need for a win for the Delhi Bulls
6.5 Mohammed Zahid to Ravi Bopara, DROPPED! Back of a length delivery on that occasion, Bopara mistimes his pull on that occasion and Sharjeel Khan puts down a sitter. Single taken
6.4 Mohammed Zahid to Ravi Bopara, FOUR MORE! BOPARA IS ON A ROLL HERE! Full-length delivery wide outside off, Bopara has a bottom hand jab at the ball and sends it running to the ropes for a boundary
6.3 Mohammed Zahid to Ravi Bopara, FOUR! Short and a bit wide outside the off stump, Bopara gets to the pitch of the ball and then drives it through the extra cover for a boundary. 16 runs in 3 balls in this over
The ex-England all-rounder Ravi Bopara is playing an outstanding hand here alongside Lewis, with some outstanding strokeplay taking him to a blitzkrieg 24 from just 10 balls. The partnership between the two has taken out all the fire from the Qalandars, who are looking like a despondent outfit at the moment.
6.2 Mohammed Zahid to Ravi Bopara, SIX! WHACKED! Back of a length delivery on the middle stump, Bopara swiveled on the ball this time around and sends it miles back in the grass banks at the stadium
6.1 Mohammed Zahid to Ravi Bopara, FOUR! Full length delivery outside the line of the off stump, Bopara lifts the ball up and over, sends it one bounce over the ropes for a maximum
An outstanding over from Daniyal up till that last ball laid to waste by that SIX by Lewis, and with just 8 runs off it, the Bulls are 82/1 after 6 overs, needing only 26 runs from 24 balls at 6.5 RPO. Mohammad Zahid continues from the other end with his right-arm pace.
