That is it from us at Sportskeeda today. Until KKR face Mumbai tomorrow at Eden Gardens, it's good night and goodbye from us. Do catch us for tomorrow's game.
So Rajasthan Royals have climbed two spots up to sixth, as the IPL Table shows us. The competitiveness in this season means that all four bottom teams are still alive. However, the harshness remains that at most only two of them would go ahead. KXIP might be having KL Rahul and Andrew Tye with the Orange and Purple Cap respectively, but they need their middle-order to click soon.
Jos Buttler, the Man of the Match says: "Opening is a nice change for me. Working wonders. It's hard to work out what a good score is batting first. After six overs we thought It'll be 180-200, but thinks slowed down. With KL Rahul batting well, there's no safe score. You're never quiet sure. With the field up, you have a lot of options to clear the infield, which is different to batting near the end, where you have to clear the outfield. We're still fighting, still in the tournament. Winning breeds confidence."
Ajinkya Rahane, the winning captain: "Really happy for the way we played. I thought 160 was good, but the wicket was difficult. Thanks to Jos that we got a good start. Chasing 157, credit to our bowlers, especially in the powerplay. That stage was crucial, getting 2-3 initial wickets. And Ish Sodhi, fantastic. Our intention was to pick wickets, and keeping an attacking field will help us. Gowtham bowled really well, and then the Ashwin wicket as well. Overall, bowling unit was fantastic. It was important that we enjoy this victory and move forward. Unadkat is important, it is good to have a left-arm pacer. His cutters are useful in slower surfaces. Sometimes you may go four overs for 40, but good thing is he always thinks about wickets. Frankly speaking, I was confused at the toss, but I thought setting a score was important, because it was a do-or-die."
Rajasthan now have a 5-0 record against KXIP at Jaipur.
KL Rahul, meanwhile, has the Orange Cap now.
Ravi Ashwin, the KXIP captain: "Maybe eight runs more than the par, but I thought it was a 160 wicket. We lost too many wickets earlier, but we could've bowled better in the Powerplay. As the ball was getting older, it got tougher to bat on. We were contemplating myself coming to bat at No. 3, just an experiment. We do have limitations, but we're trying to counter it with different combinations. Hopefully, it'll all settle through. Not worried, six wins in ten games, we'll take it."
RR have done an SRH today. A low, below par total has been defended against a strong batting line-up. KL Rahul fought  a lone battle and did as much as he could. The fact that 95 out of 143 runs came from his bat tells the story by itself; no KXIP batsmen from number two to seven entered double figures and in the end, that proved too much to handle. The hosts must thanks Gowtham and Sodhi for choking KXIP in the middle overs while wickets also kept coming.

Both bowlers went for less than five an over, and that made a massive difference for RR. Ajinkya Rahane rotated his bowlers well too, and two points from today means that RR are still alive. That also means that the pressure on RCB and MI remains.
19.6 Unadkat to Rahul, FOUR! He might as well have played lefty. Similar delivery, he keeps the same shot ready and smacks the reverse sweep over short third man's head.
19.5 Unadkat to Rahul, FOUR! Out comes the reverse sweep and sends the ball away over short third man. Into the nineties.
19.4 Unadkat to Rahul, no run, slower ball, he gets the toe-end of the bat, Unadkat tries to pluck out a return catch but gets hit on the wrist. Band onto his bowling hand and Unadkat is in a bit of pain.
19.3 Unadkat to Rahul, FREE HIT, SIX! That's a baseball swing that goes to deep extra cover. Cutter, slot ball, sent away over the fence. That takes him to his highest IPL score, eclipsing the 84* just two days back against the same opposition.
19.3 Unadkat to Rahul, NO BALL, free hit, this one reaches his head while attempting the lap shot. Free-hit for KLR!
19.2 Unadkat to Tye, 1 run, length ball takes time to reach Tye, he taps it down to long on.
Tye is in
19.1 Unadkat to Stoinis, OUT! Slaps the ball from outside off over the covers, it was a low full toss, and he ends up splicing it to Gowtham, who times his jump to perfection at deep cover and does some antics on the boundary. The ball is pocketed, and a heroic expression confirms how much he is liking RR's performance today.
Over 19 KXIP: 127/6(RR 6.68) Bowler: J Archer Sum..: 1 1 2 4 4 4
18.6 Archer to Rahul, FOUR! One more lap shot, one more boundary. They needed that much earlier. But that was a good shot nevertheless. Three in a row.
18.5 Archer to Rahul, FOUR! That's what you need to play to tackle those yorkers. Ends up lapping the ball over short fine leg. But too little, too late for KXIP.
18.4 Archer to Rahul, FOUR! Slow ball outside off, he expects a yorker but doesn't get it, ends up hoicking the ball over Unadkat at mid-off. The fielder chases it all the way to the fence, but cannot stop it.
18.3 Archer to Rahul, 2 runs, two runs is the only thing they can manage as Rahul squeezes out the yorker to the vacant midwicket region.
18.2 Archer to Stoinis, 1 run, full and straight again, driven down to long off.
18.1 Archer to Rahul, 1 run, he moves across and paddles the ball away, only as far as Binny at fine leg.
Over 18 KXIP: 111/6(RR 6.17) Bowler: J Unadkat Sum..: 4 1 2 1 1 .
17.6 Unadkat to Stoinis, no run, what to do with these yorkers. Stoinis is stuck to his crease and can't get it away. The end is near for KXIP, and RR can breathe easy with every such pinned yorker.
17.5 Unadkat to Rahul, 1 run, a wide line yorker, Rahul tries out a reverse-sweep, gets a very sad connection that drags out to point.
Unadkat and Stokes have a chat in between
17.4 Unadkat to Stoinis, 1 run, can't get the big shot out, length ball is slapped to cover where Anureet does well.
17.3 Unadkat to Stoinis, 2 runs, moves his front leg out and thwacks the ball over cover. It reaches a tumbling long off in a couple of bounces.
17.2 Unadkat to Rahul, 1 run, this one is outside off and catches the toe-end of Rahul's bat. The ball trickles behind the stumps.
