Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians Live Score and Commentary

It's a wrap for our live coverage of the RCB-MI game. Rising Pune Supergiant and Gujarat Lions will tee off in just a bit.
Stay tuned to our coverage of IPL 2017
Kieron Pollard: "For me, it was just it back my abilities. Krunal came in and batted superbly well. He just keeps performing. It was a total team effort. The bowlers did well to restrict RCB. We decided if we can get a 6 or 4 off the spinners, we can keep the run rate at check. This is the best start for us in a couple of years. We just want to continue this momentum. We will just continue doing the basics."
Kieron Pollard is the Man of the Match.
Rohit Sharma: "We've always had players who showed character. It was important to get that partnership going. They play well here. We wanted to execute our plans. Am glad it was a collective performance from our bowlers. We hope to continue the same momentum in the coming games as well."
MI were 7/4 at one stage and yet they got home with 7 balls to spare. The Krunal-Pollard partnership really did turn the game for MI.
Virat Kohli's first match of IPL 2017 ends on a sour note. He looked in great form with the bat and in hindsight, would have wanted to score more himself.
RCB were a good 20 runs short. The pitch played slow and kept low but the total ensured that MI could play themselves in, regardless of the top order collapse.
Samuel Badree meanwhile, will feel hard done. His hattrick brought the house down and set up the game beautifully for RCB. Alas, he received little support from the other end.
Pollard showed just why he's such an asset for MI. The superstar stood like a rock amidst the ruins and ensured that Rohit Sharma smiled at the end of the day.
Krunal Pandya's innings was equally valuable. The young all-rounder continues to impress and his form will be priceless for MI for the rest of the IPL.
18.5 Mills to Hardik, SIX! Mumbai Indians WIN! Full length ball, in the slot and Hardik swings the bat with the exuberance of his youth and finishes one of the most well-executed chases of the season. Take a bow, Kieron Pollard.
18.4 Mills to Hardik, no run, short ball on the stump, Hardik jumps up and dabs it towards short midwicket.
18.4 Mills to Hardik, WIDE! Short ball, and very wide outside the leg-stump. Hardik has got nothing to do with  it.
18.3 Mills to Hardik, no run, another slow short ball, Hardik looks to undercut it, but withdraws at the last moment.
18.2 Mills to Krunal, 1 run, slower ball again, short in length, Krunal waits for the ball and pulls it towards deep fine leg for a single.
18.1 Mills to Krunal, FOUR! Mills starts off with a short one, Pandya pulls that handsomely towards deep square leg, where Chahal, rolls himself ver the ball but doesn't manage to stop the boundary.
133/6 Overs: 18
10 runs needed from 12 balls. It's down to the Pandya brothers now. Who will step up for RCB?
17.6 Chahal to Krunal, 1 run, full length ball outside off, Krunal shuffles across and flicks it towards deep midwicket for a single.
17.5 Chahal to Hardik, 3 runs, full length on leg stump, Hardi nudges it off his pads towards the vacant fine leg area, where Gayle, running in from square leg, perhaps, saves from crossing the ropes.
17.4 Chahal to Krunal, 3 runs, leg byeys, the ball was pitched on middle, and turned past an incoming Pandya who was halfway down the track.'The ball spins, beats his bat, beats the keeper and runs towards deep fine leg fence. Mills saves it from being a boundary.
17.3 Chahal to Pollard, OUT! Pollard is gone! The game changes! Similar ball, only straighter on the stumps, Pollard makes room and heaves the ball towards the stratosphere, but doesn't get the distance. AB, stationed at long-on, takes an excellent catch under pressure.
17.2 Chahal to Pollard, SIX! This was off the toe-end of the ball and yet it sailed over the sight screen. He's cutting loose here now. That was driven off the front foot and against the turn.
17.1 Chahal to Pollard, no run, Pollard makes room outside leg, Chahal directs the ball towards the slips, and as expected, Pollard misses.
120/5 Overs: 17
10 runs from that over. MI in complete control now. The RCB shoulders have started to drop now.
16.6 Aravind to Krunal, no run, good length ball, outside off, Krunal looks to cut it, but misses.
16.5 Aravind to Krunal, 2 runs, fuller length on off stump, driven on the rise towards wide sweeper cover and they sprint back for a couple. Excellent running!
16.4 Aravind to Krunal, FOUR! Mills misfields. Aravind bowls just outside off and back of a length, Krunal guides it towards Mills at short third man who makes a mess of it.
16.3 Aravind to Pollard, 1 run, good length ball outside off, dabbed towrds long-off for a single.
16.2 Aravind to Pollard, 2 runs, length on middle, Pollard flicks the ball towards deep midwicket and asks Pandya to sprint for a couple, he obliges with glee.
16.1 Aravind to Krunal, 1 run,  back of a length ball on middle and off, pushed towards wide long-on for a single.
110/5 Overs: 16
19 runs off that over. Pollard took Negi to the cleaners there. The match is now for MI to loose really. RCB needs wickets real quick now.
15.6 Negi to Pollard, SIX! Two in Two! Pollard is alive! The ball was on the off stump, Pollard gets underneath it and heaves it long and high in the Bengaluru sky as it lands just short of Murali Karthik, who was seated in the commentary box. We have a game at our hands here.
15.5 Negi to Pollard, SIX! Fifty for Pollard!  Full length ball on middle, Pollard smashes it straight back past the bowler for a maximum.
15.5 Negi to Pollard, WIDE! Way outside off stump, Pollard looks to smash it, but misses.
15.4 Negi to Krunal, 1 run, leg bye, Krunal looks to sweep the full ball on middle, but misses.'The ball hits the pads, Negi appeals, but umpire denies.
