A Royal win for the Strikers. Take a bow. They outclassed the in-form team in the tournament and registered their first win in ECS. Did any one give them the chance when they were reeling at 16/5? or when they posted a low total of 67 at the end of 10 overs? Anyhow, they are jumping in joy right now and why not.

ECS has surprised us with too many things in the past but this one's really special. The Royal Strikers ran through the Knights' top order and you could see except for Nitin Babu, everyone fell in a single-digit score. Jaison Jerome bowled perfect line and length in the first over, and surprisingly no one offered a freebie or allowed the Knights batsmen to settle down. In addition to their brilliant bowling, their fielding was rock-solid as well. Look at Kushlesh Koppaka's bowling figures. You need someone to rose to the occasion to win these big matches and Koppaka proved to be the man for the Strikers today.

When you have belief in yourself, you won't be easily pinned down by anyone. And this performance from the Strikers was huge evidence of it. Two more matches to go before we sign off for the day and hopefully there will be more drama, excitement, and surprises. That's it from here, hope you enjoyed the coverage, until then, this Pragadeesh waving goodbye on behalf of my fellow colleague. Navjeevan Rajput. Cheers
