That's all we've got for you from this game as I, Sudheer and my partner, Nikhil are signing off but do stay tuned to Sportskeeda as one more match is lined up for the day that we bring you in a short while. Cheers and have fun!
Ginger Generals never got stuck into the chase as they had a sedate start to the innings and lost early wickets that added further pressure onto the batsmen coming in. They struggled to find boundaries consistently making the required run rate to jump quickly. Roland Cato and Anil Matthew struggled to get going in their innings. Daniel McDonald was the only one who struck few biggies in the innings but that was too late in the chase only to see them lose the match by 40 runs.

Strikers had a clinical outing today with both bat and ball as the bowlers in the 2nd innings curtailed the batsmen in scoring easy runs. Laurie Williams is the pick of the bowlers with 2 wicket to his name in his two overs. Few other bowlers managed to pick 1 wicket each and help the team defend the total comfortably. This victory also happens to be the highest margin in runs in this tournament and it takes the Strikers to joint 1st with 6 points to their name in 5 games, along with Cinnamon Pacers.
9.6 Alex Moses to Sunil Narayan, Saffron Strikers win this one by 40 runs!!! Length ball outside off and Sunil tries to cut this one but misses.
9.5 Alex Moses to Sunil Narayan, full length ball a bit wide outside off, Sunil tries to smash this one but fails to connect.
9.4 Alex Moses to Anil Matthew, OUT!!! Full length ball outside off, Anil tries to clear the mid-wicket boundary but there is no legs on this one as the ball goes straight into the hands of the deep mid-wicket fielder.
9.3 Alex Moses to Daniel McDonald, full toss ball outside off, Daniel off the back foot smashes this one to mid-wicket but will get only a single.
9.2 Alex Moses to Anil Matthew, full length ball on middle and leg, plays this one to mid-wicket for a single.
9.1 Alex Moses to Anil Matthew, DROPPED!! Full toss ball outside off, smashes it straight back to the bowler who drops the catch. It was a bit low bit couldn't hold onto it.
Alex Moses to bowl the final over.

Final over coming up and Generals need 43 more from 6 balls. Strikers have done a great job so far and should close this game successfully.

8.6 Ryan John to Anil Matthew, full length ball outside off, swings wildly at it and the ball goes to mid-wicket region and they take a single.
8.5 Ryan John to Daniel McDonald, full length ball on middle and leg, plays hard at this one as he wanted to smash it to on side but gets an edge to third man region. The short third man fielder does well to dive and keep this one to single.
8.4 Ryan John to Anil Matthew, slower length ball outside off, Anil waits for it and cuts this one to deep point for a single.
8.3 Ryan John to Anil Matthew, full length ball on the leg stump line, Anil clears his back leg and somehow manages to put this one away to the fine leg boundary
8.2 Ryan John to Daniel McDonald, full length ball outside off, Daniel plays this one in the air towards long on and the ball just short of the fielder.
8.2 Ryan John to Daniel McDonald, another wide, this time bowls a length ball very wide outside off, Daniel is happy to let it go.
8.1 Ryan John to Anil Matthew, low full toss a bit wide outside off, plays this one to deep point but will get only a single.
Ryan John to bowl the 9th over.

Daniel McDonald is striking good for the Ginger Generals and he needs to continue for the next two overs as they need more 53 from 12 balls.
