We are off to the knockout stages now. That begins tomorrow, so stay tuned for the updates. For now, this is Akash Ghosh, signing off along with my co-commentator, Nikhil Kulkarni. Goodnight!

Saffron Strikers beat Ginger Generals by 19 runs in the last league match of the tournament.
That approach from Ginger Generals was pretty absurd. They started off smartly. The target of 105 runs on this pitch, with a kind of boundary of all sides, should not have been a problem. Atleast not for a team that had nine wickets left in the innings until the last over. The only wicket which fell was in the third over when Laurie Willams got the better of Roland Cato.

After that moment, Keone George and Daniel McDonald seemed to be planning well until the halfway stage. The required rate was gettable for most of the innings. But, there was a lack of intent from the two batters who just couldn't get the boundaries after the first six overs. It is almost unbelievable that they didn't manage to get a single four or a six in the last four overs. In fact, they just managed to score 21 runs from the last four overs.

Keone George stayed unbeaten for his almost painful to watch knock of 20 runs from 23 balls. Daniel McDonald's 39 runs from 32 balls also in a way contributed to the loss as his strike rate fell drastically in the second half of that innings. As far as the bowling of Saffron Strikers' is concerned, the wickets column might be empty for all of them except for Laurie Williams, but all of them returned with tight overs. Jelani George bowled two overs for just 15 runs and there was a carbon copy effort from his spin bowling partner Jenson Phillip. Their effort was instrumental in this victory which will give them a lot of confidence ahead of the knockout stages.
9.6 Shermon Lewis to Keone George, Shermon finally finishes his over!! Length ball outside off, Keone comes down the wicket and hits it back to the bowler. Saffron Strikers win this one by 19 runs and they stay at the top of the table.
9.6 Shermon Lewis to Keone George, Shermon doesn't want to finish this one. He sprays another wide outside off, Shermon has been struggling today to bowl
9.5 Shermon Lewis to Keone George, back of a length ball a bit wide outside off, Keone moves across and tries to play this one blindly but misses.
9.4 Shermon Lewis to Keone George, bowls in an yorker outside off and Keone digs this one back to the bowler.
9.3 Shermon Lewis to Daniel Mc Donald, full length ball outside off, drives this one hard to deep point but will get only a single.
9.2 Shermon Lewis to Keone George, full length ball on middle and leg, smashes it  to deep mid-wicket in the air and the fielder takes the catch but since it's a free hit, he is not given out.
9.2 Shermon Lewis to Keone George, poor bowling from Shermon, he just needs to bowl legal deliveries but sprays this one very wide outside off. Wide called!
9.2 Shermon Lewis to Daniel Mc Donald, full length ball outside off, tries to swing hard at it but gets an inside edge to square leg. Shermon has overstepped and the umpire calls it a no-ball.
9.1 Shermon Lewis to Keone George, full length ball outside off, stays in the crease and swings hard at it, gets a top edge to long on
Shermon Lewis (1-0-9-0) comes back for the final over of the innings.
Excellent over from the captain there. They say the penultimate over is the most important over during a run chase and the captain took it upon himself to deliver. He ends his spell with figures of 2-0-18-0. 27 runs from 6 balls. Surely it is Strikers' game from here.
