It will be all from us for this game. This is Vikhyat Jain signing off on behalf of Mannas Upadhyay. Do join us for the next game which is shortly your way after a few minutes from here on. Goodbye, and Take Care is our lasting message from us.
It is the Saffron Strikers who have clinched a victory here and that too comprehensively in the end. A complete team effort has handed them a 25 runs victory over the Nutmegs Warriors who were let down today with their batting effort, the least to say.
The Nutmegs innings was never really looked like going to chase the total as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. It all started from the big wicket of Andre Fletcher in the first over and they just couldn't get going. A brilliant bowling spell from Charles saw the Strikers through the game in the end. He bowled his 2 overs with 13 runs being spent but took the top 4 wickets of the Warriors.
Apart from him, Alex Moses capped off his spell with two wickets while Williams and Oliver bagged a wicket each.
Cricket is a great leveler- as said by many cricket pundits was once again proven to be true today. In what was a 10 wicket chase for the Nutmegs yesterday, they were fallen apart in a similar kind of chase today. They will have a few holes to fix before diving into their next fixture. While the Strikers can party today after that effort.

9.6 Ryan John to Dane Murray, FOUR! SHOT! Quite an anti-climatic finish that. Misses the yorker and dishes out an overpitched delivery on the off stump. Murray leans in and drives it crisply through the extra cover region for a boundary! However, all that will do is reduce the margin of defeat as Saffron Strikers beat the Nutmeg Warriors by 25 runs!
9.5 Ryan John to Dane Murray, full ball outside off, just inside the tramline. Murray leans in and looks to dig it out but fails to make any connection
9.4 Ryan John to Sheldon Joseph, length ball outside off, Joseph chops it towards the keeper and the batsmen scamper through for a single.
9.3 Ryan John to Dane Murray, yorker bowled just outside off, Murray jams it out in front of point for a single.
9.3 Ryan John to Dane Murray, slower leg cutter bowled outside off, finishes past the tramline and that is a WIDE
9.2 Ryan John to Dane Murray, a full ball outside off, Murray takes a couple of steps down the track and has a go at it but fails to get bat on ball
9.1 Ryan John to Dane Murray, nails the yorker just outside off, Murray has a swish at it but is unable to make any connection
Cyrus's entertaining innings came to an unfortunate end as he departed a few runs short of his fifty. 33 runs needed off the last six balls. Only six sixes can do it for the Nutmegs now.

8.6 John Oliver to Dane Murray, length ball on the leg stump, Murray misses the glance. The ball deflects off the thigh pad and trickles towards fine leg as the batsmen take a single.
8.5 John Oliver to Sheldon Joseph, another low full toss on the pads, Joseph works that towards mid-wicket for a single
8.4 John Oliver to Sheldon Joseph, FOUR! SHOT! A low full toss on the body, Joseph uses his wrists as he flicks that through the mid-wicket region for a boundary!
8.3 John Oliver to Darel Cyrus, OUT! CAUGHT! And Cyrus perishes as well! Full ball outside off bowled slower, Cyrus goes for the big shot downtown but is undone by the change of pace. Chips it straight down the throat of the fielder at long off!
8.2 John Oliver to Darel Cyrus, SIX! BANG! Length ball outside off, Cyrus gets his front foot out of the way, swings through the line and smacks that over the extra cover region for a huge maximum!
8.1 John Oliver to Sheldon Joseph, slower full ball on the leg stump, Joseph pushes it down to long on for a single. Back over to Mr. Cyrus. Can he pull off a heist?
Cyrus is enjoying his time out there in the middle. 16 runs over from Moses and Cyrus has moved on to 33 in just 18 balls.
