South Africa 191/3 (20 ov)
England 192/1 (17.4 ov)
England won by 9 wickets
Player of the match: Dawid Malan
So, the T20 leg of the series ends then with England thumping their counterparts rather comprehensively 3-0 in the series. The team lifts the T20I series trophy as they bask in the moment of glory here to celebrate their win. A few of their players will be flying back home before the ODI series and will not be available for them. On the highlights reel for the series as scintillating 99* from Malan in this match and Shamsi's 3/19 at Paarl will sum up the series incompetence of South Africa and dominance from England. As England sleep basking in glory tonight, my colleague, Shashwat Kumar and I Lavil Saldanha take your leave until next time we meet for yet another cracking contest. Till then, its goodbye from our ends. SEE YA!!
Dawid Malan is awarded the man of the match and the series

Dawid Malan:
Very happy to have played the last two innings as I wasn't in the nick of the form before the series in that. The wicket played out really well and I got a start and converted it well. Was very well partnered by Jos Buttler and he to got a good innings after not starting as well as he liked. (On missing out the hundred) Yes, I knew there were 5 balls remaining but didn't know the run remaining. I hit a boundary, but should have not taken that single, but nevertheless, the team has emerged victorious and has added a silverware in the cabinet
England win the match by 9 wickets and win the series 3-0

What a convincing win it has been for the three lions in the whole series. They batted well, bowled well and even fielded well and have trumped South Africa comprehensively to win the series. If it was Rassie Vd Dussen and Faf du Plessis in the first innings, it was Malan and Buttler in the second innings that led the charge for England

England started the chase with a convincingly good powerplay. They lost Roy to the express pace of Nortje there, but Malan batted out so well along with Buttler that a rather flat powerplay looked like fireworks around the park as they battered and bruised the South African bowlers as they got to 56/1 after 6 overs.

England batted out the middle overs really well. Buttler and Malan played the spinners really well and took the attack in particular to Lutho Sipamala as the weak link of the attack and targetted him for the heavy run overs. Shamsi too wasn't spared as he too was hit all over the place. Ngidi had a couple of expensive overs but looked threatening in the third over of his spell. But the English caravan went moving smoothly as the carnage wasn't stopped with Malan and Buttler scoring a record partnership of 167 runs for the second wicket.

The middle over buffer allowed England to explode as they kept getting the big overs and the target got to them nearer and nearer. In the end, Malan remained unbeaten on 99 and his aide, Buttler finished with 67 runs to his name as they chased the target with 14 balls to spare and also set the record of chasing the highest total on the ground.

The South Africa bowling unit was badly battered and bruised there as they were taken to all corners of the park and couldn't defend their target. Anrich Nortje was the only bowler to get a wicket as the rest failed and handed England an easy victory
17.4 Lutho Sipamla to Dawid Malan, THAT IS THAT! MALAN ENDS ON 99, WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT! Yorker on middle and off stump. Malan jams his bat down on it and digs it out into the off side towards extra cover for a single! OH GOOD LORD!
17.3 Lutho Sipamla to Dawid Malan, FOUR MORE! SHOT! Length delivery outside off stump and Malan just opens up his stance before drilling that one over extra cover for four! Moves onto 98! Gets the ball outside off here and hits Sipamla across the line off the ball and gives it the legs to run away for a boundary
17.3 Lutho Sipamla to Dawid Malan, low full toss that goes pretty awry and nearly lands on the adjacent strip! Called a wide, rather unsurprisingly!
17.2 Lutho Sipamla to Dawid Malan, SIX! WOW! Right in the slot outside off and it gets the treatment it deserves! Malan clears his front leg and massacres it way over wide long on for a maximum!
17.1 Lutho Sipamla to Jos Buttler, off pace delivery on a back of a length on off stump. Buttler gets up on his toes and works the ball into the on side towards mid wicket for a single
A slightly expensive over from Nortje here as he gives away 11 runs in the over. England is getting nearer and nearer to victory before they do something abysmal here and lead themselves into a collapse. England now need 13 runs in 18 balls
Over: 17 | Summary: 1 4 1 4 0 1 Bowler: Anrich Nortje Score: 179/1
16.6 Anrich Nortje to Jos Buttler, low full toss that is aimed at the batsman's boots. Buttler gets his front foot out of the way and squeezes that one out to mid off for another run
16.5 Anrich Nortje to Jos Buttler, low full toss on middle and leg stump. Buttler backs away and knocks that one down the ground towards the fielder in the circle at mid off
16.4 Anrich Nortje to Jos Buttler, FOUR! SHOT! Slower delivery on a back of a length outside off stump. Buttler lets the ball come to him before crunching it past backward point for four. Buttler frees his arms there, wields his full and outside off and hits it for a boundary
16.3 Anrich Nortje to Dawid Malan, full delivery outside off stump. Malan clears his front leg and times it sweetly towards the fielder stationed at deep point for a single
16.2 Anrich Nortje to Dawid Malan, FOUR! STREAKY BUT FOUR! Banged into the track at the batsman on middle and leg stump. This one tucks Malan up for room but he still proceeds with the pull. The ball takes the top edge and flies over the keeper for four. Malan looked to pull the ball hard there, gets the top edge on that ball there and it flies over the keeper for a boundary in the over
16.1 Anrich Nortje to Jos Buttler, low full toss outside off stump. Buttler gives himself a shade of room before driving the ball hard towards the sweeper on the point fence. Gets a single
A quiet over from Ngidi there. Executes the pacy yorkers at will there and doesn't allow the batsmen to free their arms and attack him there. England is cruising along well here and it is only a matter of time for them before the clinch the series by the neck here. England need 24 runs in the remaining 24 balls here
Over: 16 | Summary: 1 1 0 0 1 0 Bowler: Lungi Ngidi Score: 168/1
15.6 Lungi Ngidi to Dawid Malan, another off pace delivery on a full length outside off stump. Malan looks to carve that one through the off side but is late on the stroke as the ball goes through to the keeper
15.5 Lungi Ngidi to Jos Buttler, excellent yorker on middle and leg stump. Buttler gets his foot out of the way and jams his bat down on it as he digs it out towards deep point for one
