Commentary
Cyprus Eagles CTL won by 60 runs

CECTL were struggling during the initial overs of the innings as they lost their top order batsmen for cheap but somehow took hold of the game later on and managed to pile up 135 runs on the board. They lost six wickets in total with Samith Mapalagama scalping three of them. The others were too bad during this game but will be hoping to rectify their mistakes and come back fresh into the next game. Rajasekhar Poluri top scored with 52 runs during the first innings with a strike rate of 273.68. During the second innings of the game, we saw Sri Lankan Lions Limassol CC struggle to chase down the massive total. Chamal Sadun scored 39 runs in 25 balls but that didn't seem enough of his team as they fell short by 60 runs. They were able to score 75 runs only for the loss of five wickets in their allotted 10 overs. Murali Alanki and Gursewak Singh picked up two wickets each and both finished with figures 2/1 while the fifth wicket was taken by Lakhwinder Singh. An all-round performance by Cyprus Eagles CTL helped them emerge victorious once again.

That's it from today's matches of ECS Cyprus T10. It's me, Mohamed Farzan and my colleague, Maanas Upadhyay, signing off. Have a nice evening, Good Bye!
9.6 L Singh to M Sudarshana, no run, length ball on the off stump and the batsman moves away and swings hard, but is nowhere near the line of the ball! The keeper fires a throw at the stumps but misses. That would have been out had the throw hit. With that, the Cyprus Eagles CTL absolutely humiliate the Sri Lankan Lions Limassol by a huge margin of 60 runs!
9.5 L Singh to M Sudarshana, no run, length ball on the leg stump and the batsman makes room and tries to smack it over mid off but misses yet again.
9.4 L Singh to M Sudarshana, no run, length ball not he middle stump and the batsman moves away and tries to loft it over covers. Cannot connect and the ball misses the bails by just a whisker.
9.3 L Singh to M Sudarshana, no run, length ball on the leg stump and the batsman moves away and tries to work it towards long on. Cannot connect and the ball flies safely through to the keeper.

9.1 L Singh to K Riaz, DROPPED! Length ball outside off swinging away that gets the batsman's edge towards the keeper, who drops the half-chance. Trickles down to third man for a single.
8.6 M Alanki to M Sudarshana, no run, full ball outside off and the batsman misses the slog-sweep! Just misses the off stump and the bowler is loved with himself.
8.5 M Alanki to M Sudarshana, length ball outside off and the batsman lofts it towards long off, the fielder where drops a sitter!
8.4 M Alanki to M Akuranage, OUT! BOWLED! 'You miss, I hit' stuff from the bowler, length ball on the leg stump and the batsman goes for the bog slog across the lone. Misses completely and the stumps are rattled!
8.3 M Alanki to K Riaz, length ball outside off pushed to cover for a single.
8.2 M Alanki to K Riaz, SIX! In the slot outside off, the batsman tires to move across and clobbers it straight back over the bowler's head for a huge maximum!
8.1 M Alanki to A Rathnayake, OUT! Length ball outside off which is a leg cutter. The batsman tries to loft it over point but cannot connect well. The fielder juggles a little before completing the catch to dismiss the batsman!
SLL move to 61 for the loss of three wickets after 8 overs. It's all over long before, we just need to watch the game to finish our tea.
7.6 L Singh to K Riaz, FOUR! Length ball on the pads and the batsman tries to sweep it. Gets the top edge that flies over third man for a boundary!
