SRH vs DC Match Result
- IPL 2019 Match 30
155/7 (20.0 ov)
116/10 (18.5 ov)
Delhi Capitals won by 39 runs
Player of the match:
Right then, Delhi move to the second spot on the points table with 10 points. They've turned it around very well and they now have won three on the bounce. Meanwhile, SRH have lost three in a row and need to get back on track quickly. Mumbai host RCB tomorrow in another high-octane clash. Do join us for that game as well. Until then, it's a goodbye from us!
Keemo Paul (Man of the Match)
: I tried to adapt and bowl according to the wicket. I want to contribute more with the bat but haven't been getting a lot of opportunities.
: It had started to slow down and me and Pant had decided so that one of us will take the charge. We got little cameos from Keemo and Axar which helped us get to that total. We've played together and It is good to be around each other.
: I thought the first half with the ball was a really good effort. It was probably a 160-surface. We tried in the second half but couldn't really get going. But credit to the way Delhi played. No complacency as any team can beat anybody in a tournament like this.
How did SRH lose this? They were on track at the halfway stage at 73/1. Bairstow gave them yet another start but the middle-order capitulated once again. However, it was some fantastic bowling from the Delhi Capitals who choked the SRH middle order. Keemo Paul came in and plucked out three wickets in the middle. Mishra bowled very economically and the two South African fast bowlers finished the job. David Warner batted for over 16 overs but couldn't really get going.
