With that, we complete our live coverage of the double header day and a riveting contest between Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Kings XI Punjab. Do join us for our live coverage of tomorrow's Match No.20 between RCB and GL at the Saurashtra Cricket Stadium, Rajkot

Until then, it's goodbye and goodnight from all of us at Sportskeeda!
Phew! What a cracker of a contest this has been! If Manan Vohra produced probably the innings of this IPL under tremendous pressure, Bhuvneshwar Kumar continued to weave magic with the ball and registered his best figures in IPL history.

On a slow, turning deck KXIP put SRH into bat, a move that paid rich dividends as the SRH batsmen failed to get off to a strong start but a counter-attacking cameo from Naman Ojha and a half-century from David Warner took SRH to 159-6.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar got SRH off to a fantastic start with the ball, trapping Amla plumb in front with a peach first delivery into the chase and from then on, wickets tumbled at regular intervals courtesy of some tight bowling from the Afghan duo of Rashid and Nabi. However, Vohra was unperturbed by his surroundings and produced two big overs for SRH, first a 20-run over and then a 21-run over that saw SRH claw their way back into the game.

With 16 needed off 12 balls, Bhuvneshwar was entrusted with the ball and he responded magnificently, first removing Cariappa and then Vohra will a reverse-swinging low full toss. Once Vohra departed, the situation demanded too much from the KXIP lower order and in the end, Kaul applied the last rites with a yorker that flattened Ishant Sharma's off-stump.

Two highlights of the game : Vohra's 95 (50b, 9x4, 5x6) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar's 4-0-19-5 that really overshadowed David Warner's 70*.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar is adjudged as the man of the match for his stunning 5-19 off his four overs.

He says "
T20 is a format where you expect the unexpected and Manan almost took the game away from us. Athletes always talk about believing in themselves and that's what I did in the 19th over. I've overcome that pressure because I've done this job for SRH for last three years.
"I knew I had to bowl the 19th over, the match-defining over. I believed in myself. I bowled the 16th/17th over, he was in good nick. It wasn't an easy wicket, it was a great effort from our batsmen who took us to 160".
"The way we started with the new ball was tremendous. Changing pace really worked for us. If you want to win the match defending 160 you have to take initial wickets, the likes of Maxwell, Miller and Morgan"
David Warner says " An unbelievable game of cricket. Credit to Manan, the way he played. I was down when I played on that wicket. Credit to Bhuvi too, he was unbelievable. He made it look easy when he was clearing the ropes. But unfortunately there has to be one winner and it was us.
"I back all my bowlers, but when you've got Bhuvi in the sheds, I back him. Fantastic contribution from both of the Afghanistan players. As I keep reiterating to the boys, it's really important to win these close games. Thanks again for the crowd who supported us here".
Glenn Maxwell says: "It was an outstanding game. Manan Vohra batted superbly but unfortunately, he did not have much of help from the rest of us. The tail took it a lot closer. I thought 160 was chasable but we gave away 10-15 runs too many at the end.
"We did a lot of things well in the middle but lost it a bit towards the end. To play an innings like Manan did for the losing side is criminal I suppose. It was innings that was coming, he kept getting 20s and 30s earlier for us and was slightly frustrated but we knew he could score big".
"We expected Bhuvi to swing the ball around but we didn't expect the wicket to be as up and down as it was. We knew it was two bowlers Rashid and Bhuvi we had to be wary of. I thought we played Rashid well though a majority of it was done by Vohra. We wanted to be ahead of the scoring rate and if we could have got 60 in the powerplay, it would make it easier for the rest of them".
"I let myself down as well with the batting but the way the guys scrapped was brilliant. Hopefully we could keep doing it ahead as well."
Spare a thought for young Manan Vohra. If Rishabh Pant almost did it for DD against RCB in Bengaluru, Vohra certainly produced smashing innings that almost took KXIP home in the end on this day.

With half the side back and the RPO creeping up with every over, the youngster thwarted Sran and even Rashid Khan for 20 and 21 runs respectively in continuous overs, bringing KXIP back in the game with four overs to go. However, his 50-ball 95 run knock laced with nine fours and five sixes did not suffice as on the other side was Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who continued to rake wickets this IPL and ended the match with stunning figures of 5-19 off his four overs, including the crucial wicket of Vohra in the penultimate over.
19.4 Kaul to Ishant, OUT! It's all over! Kaul applies the final touches, knocks out the off-stump with a beautiful yorker! Ishant looks to squeeze that somehow but fails. The off stump goes for a toss and so do KXIP's charge towards the win! Sunrisers win by 5 runs!
19.3 Kaul to Ishant, no run, low full toss on middle, Ishant only manages to hit that back to the bowler. Missed out there. KXIP need 6 off 3 balls.
19.3 Kaul to Ishant, WIDE! Another wide, down the leg side! The pressure is mounting on Kaul. KXIP need 6 off 4 balls.
19.2 Kaul to Sandeep, 1 run, back of a length outside off, Sandeep cuts that to deep extra cover and now KXIP need 7 off 4 balls.
19.2 Kaul to Sandeep, WIDE! Pressure! Pressure! Full-length ball, but way outside off stump. Sandeep looks to hit that but fails to reach. Didn't matter in the end, though.
The scoop brings the equation down to 9 off 5 balls.
19.1 Kaul to Sandeep, 2 runs, Sandeep plays the ramp shot! Would you believe it? Fuller length on off, Sandeep shuffles and ramps that over short fine. Sran keeps the batsmen to two.
KXIP need 11 off the final over, will be bowled by Kaul.
149/9 after 19 overs. What a performance from BHuvneshwar Kumar! 5-19 off his four overs and the important wicket of Vohra in the previous over.
18.6 Bhuvneshwar to Sandeep, 1 run, length ball on middle and off, driven to covers.
18.5 Bhuvneshwar to Ishant, 1 run, another slower ball on off stump, Ishant punches that to mid-off.
18.4 Bhuvneshwar to Ishant, no run, slower ball on a length outside off, Ishant swings that but is too early into his shot. Brilliant bowling by Bhuvi!
18.4 Bhuvneshwar to Sandeep, NO BALL, 1 run, Bhuvi oversteps! Full length on off stump, driven to long-on. A free hit coming up.
Sandeep Sharma, right-hand batsman is in
18.3 Bhuvneshwar to Vohra, OUT! Bhuvi rings the knell for KXIP! He's got a fifer and the important wicket of Vohra! Full, fast yorker on middle stump, Vohra looks to flick that to the leg side and misses it. The ball would have crashed into the middle stump. Vohra departs after playing breathtaking innings. Take a bow, Vohra!
18.2 Bhuvneshwar to Ishant, 1 run, good length ball outside off, punched to extra cover for a single. At this stage, what an important single that is!
Ishant is in
18.1 Bhuvneshwar to Cariappa, OUT! Bhuvi knocks over the stumps! Another twist in the tale! Full-length ball, Cariappa looks to come down the track and heave it towards the leg side, but misses the ball and loses his leg stump. A bad shot, given the circumstances.
144/7 after 18 overs. What a game this is turning out to be! Stunning piece of fielding from Moises at covers and Cariappa will face the first ball of the 19th. 16 runs to get off 12 balls.
17.6 Kaul to Cariappa, 1 run, full length ball on off stump, driven hard to mid-off, where Henriques gets a hand to it and stops what could have been a certain boundary. Vohra won't be on strike in the next over, thanks to that effort.
17.5 Kaul to Cariappa, no run, good length ball on middle and leg, Cariappa leaves his stumps and looks to hit that over the on-side. He misses, though. Oohs and Ahhs from the crowd!
17.4 Kaul to Vohra, 1 run, another full length ball outside off, Vohra flicks that towards deep midwicket. They look for two, but don't get it this time.
17.3 Kaul to Vohra, 2 runs, length ball there, in the arc, Vohra looks to swing, doesn't get the timing right and the ball deflects to long-on. They do well to collect a brace.
17.2 Kaul to Vohra, 2 runs, full length ball on middle stump, flicked to deep square leg.
