This is how the IPL table looks like following SRH's eight victory in ten matches. That means RCB have almost not even a quarter of a chance to go ahead. That is it from us at Sportskeeda today. Do catch us tomorrow as we return with the coverage of IPL 2018.
The fine captain Kane Williamson is the Man of the Match: "We're playing on tough surfaces, this was another one. We were aiming for 150 and we weren't far away, so we were right in the game. With the ball, we struggled a little bit, fielding was sloppy. In hindsight, if fielding was clinical, we could've operated better, but to come away with a win with some of our experienced campaigners stepping up was superb. Bhuvi and Sid Kaul have done it for a long period of time, did very well last year, doing well this year. Hope we can continue to back them at the death. It's just about trying to adapt to the surfaces at a number of venues. We spoke about the play-offs. It's about improving. As a fielding group, we pride ourselves on being better. Still with bat and ball, there are things we need to touch upon."
SRH have won again. SRH have defended a low total again. Just 5 runs separated the sides today. Kane Williamson and his bowlers can do anything on earth it seems. Just give the likes of Rashid Khan, Siddharth Kaul and company the ball, and they will seal the deal for you.

The wicket of Kohli started the slide for RCB, and Williamson, the man who spilled it when his counterpart was on 33, must have had his heart in his mouth then. But Kohli added only six more to his score, and their middle-order did not respond yet again. They need a miracle to survive in this IPL now - four wins out of four and other results going their way - while SRH are all but there in the play-offs.

Virat Kohli, the distraught RCB captain: "That's how this game goes. Not good enough, not up to the mark. We deserve to lose this game. We didn't show enough application. The kind of shots we played were not on at that stage. Mandeep and de Grandhomme showed there was a chance if you got stuck in. This has been the story of our season. 10-15 lesser would've been ideal, should have done better with the ball, we were upto the mark on the field.

"If you have strong characters, you will always do well. SRH had a few guys who did well under pressure, that's been the story of their season. They understand strengths, know their limitations. That's why they've been successful. From the bowling point of view, SRH is the strongest. Overall, maybe you'd pick Kings XI or CSK."
To be fair on the RCB batsmen, the SRH bowlers were simple sensational today.
SRH WIN BY FIVE RUNS. HOW ON EARTH DID RCB FAIL TO CHASE THIS DOWN AFTER THE KIND OF START THEY GOT??

Over 20 RCB: 141/6(RR 7.05) Bowler: B Kumar Sum..: 1 2 1 1 lb W
19.6 Bhuvneshwar to de Grandhomme, OUT...BOWLED, it was a full ball on ball and de Grandhhomme tried to do something weird by trying to hit the ball over the fine-leg and gets his middle and leg stump rattled.

SRH WIN BY FIVE RUNS. HOW ON EARTH DID RCB FAIL TO CHASE THIS DOWN AFTER THE KIND OF START THEY GOT??
Six needed off the final ball. De Grandhomme on strike. All eyes are on Bhuvi.
19.5 Bhuvneshwar to Mandeep, LEG BYE, down the track, hits the pads and the ball rolls to the off side
19.4 Bhuvneshwar to de Grandhomme, 1 run, another full ball angled in, de Grandhomme can only jam it away to Pandey who ensures only a single
19.3 Bhuvneshwar to Mandeep, 1 run, that was a slower ball, read it well did Mandeep, he stoops low and ramps it away but straight to short fine leg
19.2 Bhuvneshwar to Mandeep, 2 runs, another low full toss is punched away to Pandey to long on and they sprint a brace
19.1 Bhuvneshwar to de Grandhomme, 1 run, nails the yorker which is angled in too, de Grandhomme drives it away to long on
What a terrific over from the man with a head band, Sid Kaul. Simply breathtaking from the Punjab pacer. He conceded just seven runs from the over and made sure that the batsmen found it difficult to get under the ball to hit it over the top.

Bhuvneshwar has 11 runs in the bank in the final over.
Over 19 RCB: 135/5(RR 7.11) Bowler: S Kaul Sum..: 1 2 1 1 1 1
18.6 Kaul to de Grandhomme, 1 run, terrific ball, full ball on off, de Grandhomme can only jam it away to point. Excellent over!
18.5 Kaul to Mandeep, 1 run, wow, that was full and aimed for the stumps, Mandeep looks to slog it away, inside edge and then to the pads, lucky
18.4 Kaul to de Grandhomme, 1 run, full ball again in the slot, de Grandhomme crunches the drive to find Kane at cover who does not throw
18.3 Kaul to Mandeep, 1 run, slowish ball, Mandeep looks to cut, chops it to Saha, and de Grandhomme sprints away to make his ground
18.2 Kaul to Mandeep, 2 runs, that was short and wide, Mandeep cuts it away to Rashid who gets it but the batsmen pinch a brace
18.1 Kaul to de Grandhomme, 1 run, full ball angled in, de Grandhomme goes for the slog, drags it away to mid-wicket. Well, it was in the slot!
19 needed off the last two overs. The man with the head band, Sid Kaul, to bowl the 19th over. Colin de Grandhomme on strike
Over 18 RCB: 128/5(RR 7.11) Bowler: B Kumar Sum..: 1 . 4 . . 1
