Follow IPL T20 live score for Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

At the end of what was the Yuvraj Singh show, RCB put up some fight, but in the end, they surrendered meekly. It was a convincing win for the Sunrisers who have got their title defense off to the best possible start. Join us again tomorrow, when Mumbai Indians travel to Pune to take on Rising Pune Supergiant. Until then, it is goodbye from us at Sportskeeda.
YUVRAJ SINGH is the Man of the Match

"
My confidence is high. I decided to go and express myself. I don't have to worry about making a comeback now. I can enjoy my cricket."

"I've been batting more hours. I have been facing short balls, slower balls and that has been the only secret."

"I've been playing short balls pretty well. As you grow older, you have to concentrate harder and work harder, that's all I'm doing.
David Warner: "We wanted to be positive tonight, and we came out and executed our plans."

"You're always mindful whatever target you have. Gayle and Watson are such big players. They had a good partnership in the middle too."

"Yuvi was so good today."

"Shikhar told me that he is in good touch and that he was going to play with freedom. I'm glad that he is in such good form."

"What a great talent he (Rashid) is. It was a fantastic start for him and he is a great prospect for Afghanistan.
Shane Watson: "We didn't get anything right. We were shoddy on the field and batting wise, we couldn't get any partnerships going."

"We need to get our combinations right, and work on the execution of our plans. "

"Hopefully, I can lead the team better with my performances on the pitch."

"The pitch was slightly slow, but I was confident about chasing that score. But it was about getting one big partnership together, but we were always a wicket too many down."
Sunrisers Hyderabad win by 35 runs.

Solid start from the champions. They were under pressure at the halfway stage in the chase, but they held their nerve in the end. The game was set up by the brilliance of Yuvraj Singh, whose belligerent 62 off 27 balls propelled SRH to 207.

Moises Henriques and Shikhar Dhawan, too, were among the runs as the RCB bowlers were put to the sword. RCB weren't helped by their sloppiness on the field. Chahal and Aravind dropped sitters - Aravind dropping Yuvraj when he was on four.

With the ball, SRH were under pressure as RCB's top four all threatened, but none of them converted their starts into a big score. Ben Cutting was brilliant on the field and with the ball, at times.

Rashid Khan made his IPL debut and picked up two massive wickets in the middle overs, in a memorable Afghan debut at the IPL.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ashish Nehra closed the game out in the death, as RCB were not given a sniff.

19.4 Cutting to Choudhary, RUN OUT, all over, Choudhary pulls it but finds short mid-wicket and Jordan throws the stumps down at the non-strikers end. SRH on the move!

19.3 Cutting to Choudhary, SIX, short ball, Choudhary takes evasive action and pulls and the ball creeps over for half a dozen

19.2 Cutting to Chahal, 1 run, short ball, Chahal pulls and takes off, then stops, almost a run out. Chahal gives up on the run when he was about halfway through the run, but the throw doesn't hit.
19.1 Cutting to Chahal, no run, length ball on off, Chahal guides it to backward point
43 to win off 6. Warner has a smile on his face. The champions are off to the perfect start in their title defense.
18.6 Bhuvneshwar to Chahal, 1 run, length ball angled in, Chahal flicks it to mid-wicket for a single
18.5 Bhuvneshwar to Mills, OUT, full ball on the stumps, Mills walks across and whacks it high... high.. very high. Warner sets himself under the ball and gobbles it up. That was not an easy catch by any means, but Warner made it look like so so simple.
18.4 Bhuvneshwar to Mills, SIX, full ball on off, Mills backs away and whacks it over deep point. Top stroke. RCB need eight more of those in eight balls.
18.3 Bhuvneshwar to Chahal, 1 run, full ball angled in and Chahal flicks it away to long leg
18.2 Bhuvneshwar to Chahal, no run, full ball on off , Chahal defends it solidly
18.1 Bhuvneshwar to Mills, 1 LEG BYE, length ball angled in, Mills backs away and the ball hits the pads and rolls over to third man
Those last two overs have sealed this match for SRH. Now, the only thing left is for the metaphorical fat lady to sing. She is just about clearing her throat at the moment.
17.6 Nehra to Chahal, no run, another ball, full ball angled away, Chahal has no clue what is happening
17.5 Nehra to Chahal, no run, full ball angled across, Chahal wafts and misses. Nehra smiles
17.4 Nehra to Aravind, OUT, bulls eye from the veteran. Aravind backs away and Nehra fires in the yorker and the ball sneaks under the bat and dismantles the castle. He was expensive in his first three overs but he has snuck in a couple of wickets here and is on a hat-trick now.
17.3 Nehra to Watson, OUT, meek dismissal in the end. Low full toss, Watson looks to swat it across the line, gets the massive top edge and Moises takes the catch with utmost ease at cover. Game.... set... match? Very professional response from SRH to being put under pressure.
17.2 Nehra to Watson, no run, yorker on the pads, Watson swings across but cannot get under the ball. He sends Aravind back when the single was available.
17.1 Nehra to Watson, 2 runs, full toss, Watson walks across and swings it across to deep mid-wicket for a brace
54 required off the last three. It is looking bleak for RCB here. Nehra is back into the attack.
16.6 Bhuvneshwar to Aravind, no run, length ball angled across, Aravind swings from the hip and misses the ball altogether
Once again, Bhuvi is doing the job at the death for the Sunrisers. This over could well have sealed the match for the defending champs. Only three runs conceded so far.
16.5 Bhuvneshwar to Binny, OUT, this time Bhuvi gets his man. Length ball on off, Binny goes for the swat but skews it to Yuvi and backward point
16.4 Bhuvneshwar to Watson, 1 run, full ball on off, Watson squeezes it away to third man. Brilliant from Bhuvi. Three runs off four balls this over.
16.3 Bhuvneshwar to Watson, no run, wide yorker, Watto lets it go for some reason
16.2 Bhuvneshwar to Binny, DROPPED, 1 run, slower ball on off , Binny swings across, gets a huge top edge and the ball swirls around and Naman Ojha makes a meal of it. Third dropped catch of the day, after Chahal and Aravind had dropped rather easy ones while SRH were batting.
