Commentary

USGC winning quite comfortably in the end, defending their total with a fine bowling performance. They had the runs on the board and they kept picking up wickets all the way through to keep the batters under pressure and never allowed them to be in the chase at any stage. Gunasekara got to his half-century, staying unbeaten as well but it was not good enough to take his team over the line as he did the bulk of the scoring with no support from the other end.

Berlin Lions will have to put up a better performance with the bat and the ball and this is a team game. They need to step up and come out in unison as a side if they are to win games. USGC put up a fine show with the bat and with the ball as well and were the better team in this contest. Both sides will have to work on the extras that they gave away though.

They will meet once again and Berlin Lions will be keen to avenge this defeat while USGC will look to make it two wins this morning.
