Commentary

Right then, the home team Dresden are over the line comfortably in the end here. They did not have the biggest of starts but what they did well was to build a partnership, not give wickets away and later on changed gears to get over the line with nine wickets to spare. A comprehensive performance from them with both the bat and the ball as they go through to finals day now.

USGC did well to take the game to the eighth over and they kept things reasonably tidy. However, they did not pick up wickets, which they needed to do, which was the only way they could have gone on to win this game. Not enough runs on the board and a disappointing finish for them as their campaign comes to an end with that.
