178/10 (48.4)
179/6 (48.3)
BAN won by 4 wickets
Player of the match: Taijul Islam
Bangladesh got thrashed in Tests and T20's but they looked a completely different side in the ODI's despite missing some key players due to injury. West Indies, on the other hand, have to work on their batting after being so below par in this series. They have to regroup and use the break effectively as they host India next week in a three-match ODI series.

There's so much Cricket today starting from the Test match in the morning, to the Vitality Blast finals, to the TNPL double-header and finally, we wrap up things here as Bangladesh whitewash West Indies 3-0. Hope you enjoyed the coverage and until next time, this is Pragadeesh and Pradeep saying goodbye and goodnight
Tamim Iqbal: Yeah, we have always been very good at home but I am happy that we won back-to-back away series. We are missing three players from the top 5 and these guys have stepped up I am so happy that good things are happening in Bangladesh cricket. I think the way Nasum bowled and Taijul didn't get enough opportunity but today he stepped up and put in a great performance. These are the positives we have to take back

Tamim Iqbal was adjudged as the Player Of The Series
Nicholas Pooran (Captain, West Indies): I was lacking runs from the last couple of series and this series too, we spoke about taking it deep, someone being there till the end, the condition was difficult, all about finding a way, Keacy batted well with me and I love Providence, I always make runs here. It's tough to say, batting out different ways in that wicket, I just had to be there, lot of balls kept low, lot of balls spun, just been there and can't judge, take the experience from here and move on. I don't want to stress too much on the batting, it's all about learning.
Taijul Islam has been adjudged as the Player of the Match who setup the game for Bangladesh and picked up his first five-for!

Taijul Islam:
Fortunate to get the opportunity, he's worked hard and lot of guys are backing him and made full use of it. There was no pressure, I was sticking to the basics, bowling according to the wicket and that did the trick.
Bangladesh beat West Indies by 4 wickets

Litton Das 50(65) | Nicholas Pooran 73(109)
Taijul Islam 5-28(10) | Gudakesh Motie 4-23(10)

Bangladesh complete the whitewash and who would've expected this after they looked down and out in the Tests and T20s.

After bowling out the hosts for another below-par total, it wasn't easy for Tamim Iqbal and Shanto to get going at the start. Shanto was clearly struggling and Alzarri Joseph ended his short stay in the middle before Litton Das and Tamim Iqbal stitched a good partnership in the middle.

Unlike the other batters, Litton was scoring freely on this track and played some calculative shot to keep the scoreboard ticking. Tamim looked good but he was dismissed by Gudakesh Motie. Then, Litton brought up his half-century and Bangladesh were sailing smoothly until he stayed at the crease.

Suddenly Gudakesh Motie used the nature of the surface effectively and dismissed Litton Das and Afif Hossain in three deliveries to put the visitors on the back foot. After the wicket of Mosaddek Hossain, Nurul Hasan joined hands with Mahmudullah and the duo played cautiously and used West Indies' lack of fifth bowling option to their advantage.

Pooran dismissed Mahmudullah but the partnership between Mehidy and Nurul helped the team to cross the line eventually
48.3 Nicholas Pooran to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, BANGLADESH WHITEWASH WEST INDIES 3-0 IN THEIR OWN BACKYARD! Drops it short on the off-stump, Mehidy on the backfoot pushes it gently to covers for another single and seal the game.
48.2 Nicholas Pooran to Nurul Hasan, tossed up delivery, full on the off-stump, Nurul gets forward and drills it down to long-off for a single. SCORES ARE LEVEL NOW!
48.1 Nicholas Pooran to Mehidy Hasan Miraz, length delivery on the outside off, Mehidy leans and works it to long-on for one more. 2 now!
Nicholas Pooran to bowl and Bangladesh should get the job done in this over
