146/6 (20.0 ov)
150/3 (19.1 ov)
India won by 7 wickets
Player of the match:
Right! That's it from us here at Sportskeeda. Do join us in a couple of days' time when the sides clash swords in the fifty-over format at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.
Till then, this is Shashwat Kumar signing off. Goodbye and goodnight!
India complete a clean sweep!
The West Indians, in consonance with the previous two encounters, got off to a shoddy start and lost three wickets in the Powerplay. Though Pollard, Pooran and Powell managed to restore some parity through the middle phases, a total of 146 never seemed enough on a good batting track and against a rather strong Indian batting line-up.
The Indians, however, were guilty of losing a couple of wickets in the Powerplay themselves. Yet, they had their captain, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant to dig them out of that hole. The former paced his innings to perfection and conjured an innings of 59 while the latter finally translated his promise into a substantial performance, a performance many reckoned was long overdue.
No, there isn't! And Pant finishes it off in style!
Pant sizes up a full length delivery early and hammers it over the bowler's head for a six to finish things off in style.
19.1 SIX! Carlos Brathwaite to Rishabh Pant. Length ball, down leg side on the front foot driving, well timed in the air under control over long on for 6 runs.
And the match has gone into the 20th over!
The Indians get only three runs off the 19th over and the game has stretched to the final over. Is there a twist in the tale?

18.4 Sheldon Cottrell to Rishabh Pant. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, to long off for 1 run, fielded by Powell.
Right! Only four runs needed off the last 9 deliveries. Will Pant finish it off in style?

Thomas dismisses Kohli!
Thomas bowls a wide yorker and gets his reward. The batsman tries to squirt it between point and third man but only manages to hit it to the fielder at point. Lewis holds on to a sharp chance and Kohli departs after having played a masterful innings.
17.3 OUT! Caught. Oshane Thomas to Virat Kohli. Yorker, outside off stump on the front foot Steer, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to backward point, by Lewis.
Kohli is finishing the game in a hurry!
Thomas bangs one into the middle of the pitch and Kohli thrashes him through mid-wicket for four.
17.2 FOUR! Oshane Thomas to Virat Kohli. Back of a length, outside off stump on the front foot pulling, well timed in the air under control past deep mid wicket for 4 runs.
17.1 Oshane Thomas to Virat Kohli. Yorker, off stump on the front foot working, to silly point for no runs, fielded by Lewis.
Wow! Pant has pulled off a stunning shot!
Cottrell goes searching for the yorker on leg-stump but strays onto the pads. Pant isn't one to miss out on that line and he delightfully clips the ball past deep square leg for a four. And, that had an extravagant flourish at the end of it all. He also completes his fifty in the process. India now require 18 off 3 overs.
