85' Sergio Castel (P)
Right! That's it from us here at Sportskeeda! Do keep following Sportskeeda for all the latest news, scores and updates from the ISL. We will be back tomorrow with our coverage of Bengaluru FC's encounter against Chennaiyin FC.

Till then, this is Shashwat Kumar signing off. Goodbye and goodnight!
ATK were completely dominant throughout the game, barring a brief spell of Jamshedpur pressure at the start of the game. However, the clearest opportunity of the first half fell to the visitors who were left ruing Farukh's shot striking the crossbar.
After the break, the match was a contest of penalties as the hosts were awarded two while the away side were also handed a rather dubious spot-kick. Krishna and Castel put away those chances for ATK and Jamshedpur respectively to keep the encounter in the balance.
In the dying stages of the match, the ATK skipper turned provider as he set up Edu Garcia, who sealed the game with a smart finish past Subrata
Peeeeepppp! The referee blows his whistle and ATK make it 3 wins in a row! They win a tightly-contested encounter 3-1 to march on to the top of the ISL table!
90+6' Isaac whips in a corner and it is cleared before it finds its way to him again. His cross poses no danger as the ball rolls out of play
90+4' GOOOOAAAAALLLL! Edu Garcia puts the result beyond doubt!
ATK hit on the break after Jadhav is dispossessed deep in the ATK half. The hosts play a couple of passes and free Krishna down the left flank who feeds Edu with a first-time cushioned pass. Garcia does the rest and dinks the ball over Subrata. Game. Set & Match ATK!
90+3' Jamshedpur hoist the ball into the box for Castel. But, the striker is unable to win the header against Agustin as the ball bounces out of bounds. Time is running out for the visitors
Five minutes have been added on!
90' A delicious cross is whipped in from the right flank and Arindam is aware enough to spot the danger and clear the ball away, just ahead of the onrushing Farukh. Top interception
89' Garcia misses a chance to put the game to bed!
Krishna races forward on the right flank and pulls the ball back to an unmarked Edu Garcia. The latter though, completely scuffs his shot and pulls it beyond the post. A huge chance missed. Will ATK regret it?
88' Farukh comes close!
Farukh dances his way past a couple of challenges and strikes a left-footed shot at goal. The ball takes a massive deflection and goes out for a corner. The resulting set-piece is met by Castel who handles the ball and is penalised
88' Jamshedpur are throwing men forward in search of an equaliser!
But, so far, their attempts have been thwarted
85' GOOOOAAAALLLLL! Castel pulls one back for the visitors!
Castel places his penalty superbly in the right bottom corner to half the deficit. We have an interesting last few minutes on our hands now!
83' And, we have another penalty in the game!
Anas throws out his arm slightly as he challenges with Castel for the ball from the corner. There didn't seem a lot in that, one must say. Anyway, an avenue for Jamshedpur to get back into the match. Castel to take the penalty
82' Aniket gets past Edu Garcia and the latter brings him down, handing Jamshedpur a free-kick. The set-piece is cleared easily for a corner though
81' Jairu comes on for Keegan!
Probably Jamshedpur's last roll of the dice, hoping for more of an end product from their substitute
80' Change for ATK! Jobby Justin comes on for Soosairaj!
79' Acosta's free-kick is cleared easily by Anas who dives to head the ball away. The resulting corner reaches Keegan on the left flank whose cross is easily grabbed by Arindam
78' Castel is brought down just outside the box by Williams and Jamshedpur have a good chance to get back into the game. Acosta behind the ball
76' Keegan whips in a good cross from the left flank but ATK defenders get to it ahead of Castel and Edu Garcia brings the ball away. The ball consequently lies loose in the middle of the park where McHugh goes flying into his challenge, earning himself a yellow card in the process
75' Edu Garcia replaces Javi!
74' Edu Garcia is preparing to come on!
71' GOAAAALLLLL! Krishna gets the better of Subrata again!
Krishna goes to Subrata's right this time and the ball smashes the inside of the post before nestling into the back of the net
70' And, the penalty will be retaken!
My word! This is getting ludicrous now. Jamshedpur players encroach the area before the spot kick and the referee decides the penalty needs to be taken again
69' Another penalty for ATK!
O Dear! Jamshedpur are shooting themselves in the foot here. Memo Moura needlessly barges Krishna in the back and the striker makes the most of it. Quite daft by the defender. Krishna to take the penalty
67' Aniket Jadhav comes on for Mobashir!
67' Keegan plays a lobbed pass on the left flank and Castel chases after it. He gets ahead of Anas and seems to play it off the defender for a corner. But surprisingly, the referee points for a goal-kick. And, Castel is again riled up
64' Castel goes down on the right edge of the penalty box but the referee is unimpressed with his attempt to win a penalty
63' Williams misses his volley completely and the ball somehow reaches Soosairaj off a Jamshedpur clearance. He tries to deliver a cross but slices it horribly and the ball poses no threat at all
62' Javier ripples the side netting!
Javi gets the ball up and down well but isn't able to get the direction as the ball smacks into the side netting
60' Robin Gurung jumps into the back of Krishna and both players are down injured. The referee awards a free-kick on the edge of the box. That was a clumsy challenge by the right back. He would hope he doesn't regret it
59' Jamshedpur try to spring an attack almost instantly but their efforts are thwarted by ATK, who have looked solid defensively tonight
57' Gooooooaaaaallllll! Krishna scores for ATK!
Krishna steps up comfortably and calmly sends the keeper the wrong way and slots the ball to the keeper's left. Cool penalty by the skipper
56' Penalty for ATK!
Krishna and Williams link up well again and the former bursts into the box. Tiri makes a last-ditch attempt to take the ball off him but only fouls the forward as he goes down tumbling. Krishna to take the penalty
55' Castel tries to maneuver his way into the box from the left side but is thwarted. The ball eventually falls to Isaac who tries to tee up his midfielder but he fails to do so
54' Javier brings the ball forward and he finds Jayesh in midfield. But, the Indian under-hits his pass to Prabir and Jamshedpur bring the ball away easily
52' Isaac wins the ball deep in the ATK half and Jamshedpur look to conjure something substantial. But, it comes to nothing as the ball goes out for a goal-kick. The visitors need to start being more effective in the final third
51' Tiri launches a long diagonal towards Acosta on the left but it is intercepted by Prabir, who marches forward with the ball before being brought down
49' Farukh wriggles past a couple of challenges on the left edge of the box and unleashes a stinging shot at goal. But, Arindam is up to the task as he handles the ball well
48' Jayesh Rane pinches the ball in midfield and feeds Krishna. The striker though gets underneath his shot and blazes it well over the bar
47' Soosairaj plays a neat one-two with Javier and burst into the box. But, his touch lets him down at the final moment as the ball rolls out for a goal-kick. Promising start by ATK
Peeepppp! ATK get us underway in the 2nd half!
The players are back out on the field! ATK are in a huddle while Tiri is barking out instructions to his troops!
Jamshedpur began the encounter well and fashioned the first real opening of the game when Farukh headed against the crossbar. However, after that chance, ATK grew into the game and weaved plenty of pretty patterns, especially down their left flank where Soosairaj was a constant threat. However, the niggly fouls meant that neither was able to establish a rhythm and that contributed to a goalless opening 45 minutes.
Having said that though, both sets of players were willing to bite into challenges, thereby providing plenty of needle to a contest that could've gone dour.

Thus, the stage seems set for an enthralling second half. Do join us in a short while!
Peeeeppp! The referee blows for half-time and both sides enter the break level!
45+3' Castel and McHugh indulge in a bit of afters succeeding a challenge on the Spaniard
45+2' Acosta and Krishna are now getting involved off the ball. Elsewhere, Tiri is fouled near the defensive penalty area and Jamshedpur are handed another free-kick
A minimum of 3 minutes have been added on!
44' Soosairaj catches Robin Gurung late and Jamshedpur have a free-kick on the right. But, the delivery is just beyond Tiri's reach as another set-piece opportunity comes to nothing
43' The challenges have been flying in lately and there seems to be a needle between the two sides. This encounter is brewing up well
41' Jayesh Rane dribbles expertly past Monroy in midfield and lines up a shot from 25 yards out. He strikes a rasping drive that just shaves the post to Subrata's right. The closest ATK have come today
39' Mobashir somehow gets away with an agricultural challenge on Williams. But, ATK win the ball after giving it away from the free-kick and Javier is fed by Krishna. Monroy perfectly times his tackle and plays the ball off the midfielder for a goal-kick. ATK are enraged. They believe they should've had a penalty
38' Acosta gets on the ball almost instantly and strides towards the box. But, he takes a touch too many and ATK nick the ball off him. Danger averted
38' Piti goes off injured! Acosta replaces him!
35' A string of shots come in from Jamshedpur but each of those strikes are blocked expertly by ATK. In that action, Krishna took a knock to his shin and now he is in pain. Injured bodies everywhere!
35' Piti, in his attempt to chase down a loose ball, pulls up mid-way and he is grimacing. He seems to be clutching his left hamstring
33'  Heated scenes in Kolkata as McHugh's stray arm catches Castel when the pair jump for an aerial ball. The Jamshedpur players haven't taken too kindly to that challenge and the referee has to separate the set of players
30' Pritam Kotal earns himself a needless yellow card as he pulls back Castel . That wasn't very subtle, one must say. The striker wasn't even getting through on goal
28' Farukh gets free on the right side and cuts the ball back for Castel. But, again the forward fails to gather the ball properly and the attack fizzles out. The striker hasn't been at the top of his game today
26' Soosairaj has been a menace so far and he again links up well with Williams. But, he loses his footing at the last moment, thereby ridding him of the opportunity to get a cross in
25' McHugh whips in a free kick from the left towards the back post. Agustin gets a run on his man and jumps above Tiri. However, the Jamshedpur skipper does just enough to put him off as the ball loops behind. No corner awarded surprisingly
24' Soosairaj tries an outrageous bit of skill in the final third and it nearly comes off for him. Eventually though, a heavy touch means that a goal-kick is the only possible outcome
22' Soosairaj explodes into life and gets to the by-line on the left flank. He tries to pick out Krishna with the outside of his right boot but only manages to fire it straight into Subrata's midriff
21' McHugh spreads the ball to Soosairaj who cuts inside and lines up a shot. But, Monroy charges him down and gets in a vital block. ATK then distribute the ball towards Krishna who drags the defence out wide. He plays a first-time volleyed pass into the box which is cleared by Jamshedpur
19' ATK press the ball in midfield and gain possession. But, McHugh takes the patient route before he plays in Prabir on the right flank. The wing-back crosses for Williams who mistimes his header and the ball flies well wide of the goal
17'  Isaac turns swiftly on the left flank and looks to play in Castel. But the forward's touch lets him down as the ball doesn't pose any danger to ATK
15' Javier Hernandez tries to muscle his way into the box from the left side but Jamshedpur outnumber him and Robin Gurung eventually clears the ball
14' Both teams have started relatively well despite a very wet pitch and have been able to play good short passes in and around midfield. However, the final ball has been lacking and another such attempt by Jamshedpur to feed Isaac harmlessly rolls out of play
11' A poor touch by Agustin allows Farukh to earn possession. He takes a couple of touches before a lack of support forces him to go backwards. Jamshedpur recycle the ball towards the right flank and try to play in Castel in the inner right channel. Agustin though redeems himself with a timely clearance and the ball goes out for a corner
10' ATK works the ball well in midfield and feed Soosairaj on the left flank. But, the wing-back's pass just gets away from Krishna and Jamshedpur heave a huge sigh of relief
8' Farukh hits the bar!
Piti turns Jayesh Rane inside out on the left flank and then clips in a delightful cross for Farukh. The Indian rises above his man but can't keep his header down, meaning that he strikes the woodwork from 8 yards out. A huge change gone begging for the visitors
7' Piti industriously wins the ball back after a slightly loose touch and recycles the ball towards his defence. Subrata then plays with fire and tries to dribble past Williams. The striker charges his down and the deflection goes wide of the post. The keeper should really be refraining from such antics on a wet pitch
5' Prabir dances past a couple of challenges on the right flank and tries to link up with Krishna. Tiri though, gets a foot in and doesn't allow the move to develop. The ball eventually goes out for a throw-in
4' Roy Krishna purposefully strides forward and feeds Williams on the inside left channel. Unfortunately, the striker can't take the ball into his stride and Jamshedpur clear the ball for a throw-in
3' Keegan Perreira commits a late foul on Prabir Das and that earns the former a yellow card. Not the smartest challenge to make, especially so early in the game
1' Jamshedpur control possession and keep passing the ball around the back before attempting an ambitious diagonal towards Castel, which is cut out easily. The forward, in his attempt to jostle for the ball, ends up fouling his man
Peeepp! The referee blows the whistle and Jamshedpur get us underway!
The national anthem is done! The players are out onto the field! We are just moments away from the action!
Head to Head Record!
ATK and Jamshedpur FC have played each other on 4 occasions with each side winning a solitary game and the remaining two matches ending in a draw. Can either club steal a march on their rivals today?

Stay tuned to find out!

Last season, Jamshedpur FC started the ISL season brightly but they gradually faded as they racked up too many draws and consigned themselves to a 5th place finish. However, the current term has seen them post two wins out of three while they were slightly unfortunate to not emerge victorious against Bengaluru FC at The Furnace.

More encouragingly though, their offensive and defensive movements have been quite decisive, meaning that there has been no lack of conviction. Additionally, their young guns have started the season menacingly with Aniket Jadhav and Farukh Choudhary impressing whereas the experienced trio of Piti, Sergio Castel and Tiri have also been sound.

Thus, Jamshedpur represent a well-oiled machine and one that seems to have very few components missing. Yet, they would want to guard against the indecision that engulfed them last term. And, to that end, a victory against ATK in Kolkata might not be the worst idea.
On the opening day of the 2019-20 ISL, ATK stumbled to an untimely loss against the Kerala Blasters, thereby throwing the Kolkata-based outfit’s preparations into disarray. More problematically though, that sucked away a bit of the optimism the club had generated over the off-season courtesy the players they’d acquired.

Fortunately, though, they put behind that result rather swiftly to trounce Hyderabad FC 5-0 in Kolkata, a result that not only signified the improvements they’d made but also one that established their credentials for the season ahead.

They followed that positive result with a gritty 1-0 victory over Chennaiyin FC away from home, wherein David Williams continued his rich vein of form, notching his 3rd goal in as many games. Moreover, ATK would be delighted with the way Roy Krishna has quickly acclimatised to the ISL.

Thus, the hosts come into the encounter high on confidence, hoping to stitch together another victory to signal their re-emergence among the Indian elite. However, one reckons that they’ll have their work cut out, especially against a similarly upbeat Jamshedpur side.
Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the ISL fixture between ATK and Jamshedpur FC from Kolkata! I am Shashwat Kumar and I will be taking you through the build up and the entirety of the encounter!
