0 - 1
Kerala Blasters
70' H. Narzary
That is it for today as Kerala Blasters take home three valuable points. Stay tuned to Sportkeeda for the post match reaction and also join us for the live commentary for Wednesday's game between Hyderabad FC and Odisha FC.
ATK 0-1 Kerala Blasters FC

Messi Bouli takes the ball near the corner flag and the referee blows the final whistle. A much needed three points for Kerala Blasters. In the end, it was the superbly sweet strike from Halicharan Narzary which made all the difference as Kerala upset ATK in their own den with this result helping them to move to the 6th spot. Jamshedpur FC are the ones who have to make way for Kerala Blasters' resurgent run.
90+4' Roy Krishna goes down in the penalty box after coming in contact with Moustapha Gning. The ATK players sarcastically applaud the referee after he waved play on.
90+2' Suddenly a fight has ensued as a support staff has seemingly been kicked. Ugly scenes here at the Salt Lake Stadium with ATK already getting agitated for Kerala's time wasting.
90' Jobby Justin tries to get the ball away from Gning but he is fouled and then Prashanth flicks the ATK forward's hand and runs away with the ball. The referee has no option but to brandish a yellow card for Prashanth.
88' Victor Mongil wrestles with Messi Bouli and brings him down as the whistle is blown by the referee Ajit Kumar Meitei. But as an ATK player tried to clear the ball, it went and hit Messi's hand but the Cameroonian makes the most out of it to waste some time.
85' Kerala get a free-kick and Mario Arques delivers a sumptuous ball to Moustapha Gning but the Senegalese's header is saved brilliantly by Arindam Bhattacharya.
83' The goal-scorer Halicharan Narzary is off to bring in the fresh legs of Prashanth Karuthadathkuni.
80' Amazing save from TP Rehenesh. Roy Krishna twists and releases a shot after receiving cross on his chest but Rehenesh gets low and saves it superbly to maintain the 1-0 scoreline.
77' Narzary is down on the ground holding his right hamstring. Schattorie will hope it isn't anything serious.
73' Messi Bouli yet again makes himself a nuisance by giving it his all while the ball is in the air. Finally after Messi brings down the ball and cuts back, Ogbeche takes over and releases a shot but it lacked power to ensure a comfortable save for Arindam Bhattacharya.
70' GOOOOALLLL! What a stunning goal from Halicharan Narzary! Raphael Messi Bouli troubles the ATK defenders to help Narzary get the ball and drive centrally before releasing a sweet strike with his weak right foot as the ball nestled into the back of the net. Just the second ISL goal for Narzary and one that he will cherish for a long time.
69' The mazy Javi Hernandez makes a good run and passes it on to Jobby Justin who then lays on a ball for Roy Krishna but the Fijian's low cross is wayward and runs away for a goal-kick.
67' Short in stature but Roy Krishna rises high and flicks it on Jobby Justin who tried to sneak into the 18-yard box. But a block comes in to stop Justin in his stride.
66' The gangly Messi Bouli turns quickly and attempts a through ball but there is no one to get on the end of it.
64' Jayesh Rane is getting ready to replace the injured Agus. Meanwhile Balwant Singh is replaced by another striker in the form of Jobby Justin.
63' Jessel Carneiro whips in ball to Bart Ogbeche but his header is off the target. It was a tough chance though as Ogbeche had to take the shot from the edge of the box.
61' TP Rehenesh has received a warning from the referee for time-wasting. Meanwhile, Antonio Lopez Habas is not happy on the sidelines.
60' Another dangerous through ball for Roy Krishna but TP Rehenesh is alert enough to act as a sweeper keeper.
57' Prabir Das shows some silky skills and plays a through ball to Roy Krishna but Mohammed Rakip stays with the ATK forward which makes the angle pretty acute. A half-chance gone a begging albeit due to some excellent defending.
54' Pritam Kotal's scuffed clearance put ATK under pressure with Arindam needing to try and prevent a corner but he fails in doing so.
52' Prabir Das thumps a cross and Roy Krishna gets on the end of it but there is too much crowd to break free and get through on goal.
49' Balwant Singh elbows Mohammed Rakip but he escapes a potential yellow card. Rakip is down on the ground receiving medical treatment.
47' A few mistakes have propped up in the first two minutes itself but both teams haven't been able to make much of those opportunities.
ATK 0-0 Kerala Blasters FC
An interesting first 45 minutes wherein Kerala Blasters have proven they are no pushovers. Both sides have had half-chances with Kerala Blasters the one who would be most disappointed at not opening the scoring for tonight. This match is not done and there should goals in the second-half. Catch us in 15 minutes
45+1' The referee interestingly awards a free-kick to ATK after adjudging that Halicharan Narzary handled the ball when he actually brought down the ball with his chest.
43' Mandi Sosa takes the free-kick and powers it but the shot is just slightly away from the far post. Kerala breathe a huge sigh of relief.
42' Free kick inches outside of the box after Mohamed Rakip and Halicharan Narzary clash to close the door for Roy Krishna. However, funnily, the referee gives a free-kick for ATK. Will they get anything out of this?
39' Yellow card for Javi Hernandez as he protests after the referee didn't penalise the challenge on him. Halicharan Narzary almost went through to the 18-yard box before snatching a poor shot away from goal.
35' A quick free-kick is taken and Roy Krishna tries to smash the ball home but Bart Ogbeche is there to come up with a crucial block. Corner for ATK.
34' Yellow card for Mario Arques as he takes one for the team to stop the jet-like Prabir Das.
28' Bart Ogbeche tries to break free and take a long shot but he can only scuff it and the rolls comfortably to Arindam. Ogbeche claims that he was clipped but the referee has none of it.
27' Kerala get a free-kick and Seityasen puts in a beautiful ball after which ATK's clearance falls to Messi Bouli who then took a shot that almost shaved the left goal post. A decent half-chance for Kerala Blasters
26' A beautifully measured through ball from Gning reaches Messi Bouli but the Cameroonian fails to get in a cross on two different occasions.
25' Messi Bouli drifts wide and gets in a cross but it is straight into the hands of Arindam Bhattacharya.
22' Halicharan Narzary is now down injured after being involved in a clash during ATK's set-piece opportunity.
19' Yet another long ball to Messi Bouli and Agus brings him down to give away a free-kick in an interesting position.
17' Jessel Carneiro loses out in the battle too and leaves acres of space for Prabir Das but his cross is cleared away quite easily by Abdul Hakku.
15' Abdul Hakku got injured in a duel with Balwant Singh and the defender has walked out for some medical attention. Moustapha Gning has taken Hakku's spot for the time-being.
10' The resulting corner-kick is played poorly and the stray ball falls to Roy Krishna who races forward in a counter-attacking move but Mohammed Rakip shows enough strength to steal the ball and put an end to the threat.
9' Bart Ogbeche and Messi Bouli looked to play a one-two but the ball hits Pritam Kotal and runs away for a corner.
8' Jessel Carneiro looked to switch the ball to the opposite flank but Michael Soosairaj came in with a superb interception.
6' Jessel Carneiro played the ball back to Mario Arques and Kerala look to recycle the corner kick from the left flank but Vlatko Drobarov puts his attempted cross out of play.
5' Seityasen Singh starts off a free-kick routine but they can only earn a corner in the end. ATK were asleep in defense.
4' So far ATK have looked to start the game on a positive note and hence they have presses pretty hard. It will be no surprise if they score the first goal.
3' Moustapha Gning takes a poor touch but Balwant Singh's push earns Kerala a free-kick in the defensive half.
2' Javi Hernandez gets on the bike and passes it to Michael Soosairaj but the winger slashes his cross way behind the touchline.
1' A long ball to Raphael Messi Bouli in the very first minute but his challenge is deemed to be a foul on Sumit Rathi.
The players are walking out for the Indian national anthem. Kick-off in five minutes.
Kerala Blasters' strength rests on Raphael Messi Bouli's pressing and the crosses that Bart Ogbeche could potentially receive. All the eyes will thus be on the wingers Halicharan Narzary and Seityasen Singh.

On the other hand, ATK will continue to rely on counter-attacks with Roy Krishna acting as the key figure for this strategy. The Fijian has scored 8 goals and provided two assists so far. Michael Soosairaj and Prabir Das will also bring in varying threats from either flank. While Soosairaj loves to cut in and score just like how he did against Mumbai City FC, Prabir Das' crosses resulted in quite a few goals for ATK in the initial few matches.
Interesting team changes from both ATK and Kerala Blasters. After playing the full 90 minutes against Hyderabad FC, Kerala Blasters' rock at the back, Gianni Zuiverloon doesn't feature in the squad for this match. He will be a big miss for the southern side.  However, Mario Arques' return to the starting line-up could off-set Zuiverloon's absence to an extent.  Arques replaces Jeakson Singh in mid-field while Abdul Hakku comes in Zuiverloon's place.

For ATK, David Williams and Pronay Halder miss out with Balwant Singh and Michael Soosairaj replacing them in the starting line-up. Also, Agus comes in for Jayesh Rane as ATK look to go back to their usual three at the back formation. Sumit Rathi and Prabir Das could feature as the wing-backs.
Starting Line-ups have been announced!

ATK FC - Arindam Bhattacharja (GK), Sumit Rathi, Agustin Iniguez, Victor Mongil, Pritam Kotal, Prabir Das, Armando Sosa Pena, Javier Hernandez, Balwant Singh, Michael Soosairaj, Roy Krishna (C).

Kerala Blasters FC - TP Rehenesh (GK), Mohamad Rakip, Jessel Carneiro, Abdul Hakku, Vlatko Drobarov, Mario Arques, Seityasen Singh, Halicharan Narzary, Mouhamadou Gning, Messi Bouli, Bartholomew Ogbeche (C).
Meanwhile Habas' opposite number Eelco Schattorie said that he had a good game plan to exploit ATK's weaknesses. “In the opening game, they didn't know anything about us and we didn't know anything about them. This game, I know exactly where their weaknesses are and how they are scoring. I have a good game plan. The 5-1 win gives our team a lot of confidence. I have never lost against ATK. Last season, I won once and drew the other time. So I hope to get another win tomorrow.”

Also, Schattorie was well aware that Kerala Blasters haven't been great while defending set-pieces. “Most goals we have conceded from set-pieces. You can work on that. I know how to organize my team. It is difficult to play against us. You have to implement them in the field. Also, constant changing in personnel does not help. You got to know when to do, what to do and what not to do.”
Speaking to the media ahead of the match against Kerala Blasters, ATK manager Antonio Lopez Habas was pretty confident about his team but also stated that ATK need to score more. Habas said, “We are improving every day. It is very evident. But we need to do more. We are at a good moment. We have a good attitude. We are working on to achieve our targets this season.”

Habas also further added that the two new signings in the form of Mandi Sosa and Victor Mongil have strengthened the team. He said, “I am very happy with Mandi (Sosa) and (Victor) Mongil. They add a lot to the team because they are quality and very disciplined players. It is important for the coach to have such important players in the team.”

ATK gaffer Antonio Lopez Habas was unsure about the availability of forward David Williams who has struck a fruitful association with his familiar team-mate Roy Krishna. Other than that, there isn't major injury related problems for ATK.

On the other hand, Kerala Blasters will continue to miss the services of the important mid-field duo of Mario Arques and Sergio Cidoncha. However, with Moustapha Gning and Jeakson Singh putting in a confident display in the centre of the park against Hyderabad FC, Schattorie will be pretty confident of winning the mid-field battle.
Kerala Blasters
Compared to the initial few weeks of the season, Kerala Blasters have managed to achieve a more positive stretch of results in the previous few weeks. The 5-1 win over Hyderabad FC in the last match would have given the team a lot of confidence while a loss against Chennaiyin FC was flanked with draws against FC Goa, Mumbai City FC and Northeast United FC.

The fact that Kerala have just won one point in four matches on the road this season would come as a worrying sign for manager Eelco Schattorie. Interestingly, five of key striker Bart Ogbeche's six goals this season have also come at home meaning that Kerala have struggled for goals in away matches.

After suffering a 2-1 loss against FC Goa, ATK have bounced back pretty well with a draw and two wins in their last three matches. A David Williams goal sealed the three points for the side in their last home game while a goal apiece from Pronay Halder and Michael Soosairaj helped them dispatch Mumbai City FC quite easily.

Further, ATK are also unbeaten at home with three wins and a draw at the Salt Lake Stadium and this shows the magnitude of the task that beckons Kerala Blasters FC in this upcoming fixture.
ISL action returns to the iconic Salt Lake Stadium after a little over two weeks as third-placed ATK host Kerala Blasters who occupy the 8th spot in the points table. Both the teams would be having different objectives while coming into this game with the hosts looking to go level on points with the table-toppers while Kerala Blasters would want to cut the the seven-point lead with 4th placed Odisha FC.
