ATK vs MUM Match Result -
1 - 3
Mumbai City
A. Bikey-Amougou 67'
26' M. Sougou
39' M. Sougou
60' M. Sougou
That's it from us tonight. Do join us tomorrow, as Chennaiyin FC face Jamshedpur FC. Anything other than a Jamshedpur win will see NorthEast United confirmed as the fourth semifinalist of ISL 2018-19. Until then, from me, Aaditya Narayan, it's goodbye.

That was comprehensive! And Mumbai have achieved their first objective. It was a superb performance tonight, and they got their hitman firing when they needed him to fire. Three super goals from Sougou, no clean sheet, which will annoy Jorge Costa, but there's the first job done for Mumbai. Another disappointing season for ATK, who now can no longer make the semfinals.
90+4' PEEEP PEEEP PEEEEEEPPPP!! That's full-time, and Mumbai have made it through to the semifinals!
90+3' Mumbai make their final change, as Subhasish's work for the night is done.

ON - Sanjay Balmuchu
OFF - Subhasish Bose
90+1' We'll have four minutes of additional time.
90' BIPIN! He teases Ankit and gets the better of him, but his final shot has gone right across the face of goal, and out for a throw-in.
89' Mumbai make another change, as Mirabaje goes off to be replaced by Raynier.

ON - Raynier Fernandes
OFF - Matias Mirabaje
89' Arnold springs forward with superb purpose, but his attempted cross-field pass to Sougou, is blocked by Ankit,
88' Now, Sehnaj goes into the book, after he absolutely clatters into Komal Thatal
86' ISSOKO! Lovely save from Arindam, with his right-hand! Sougou receives the ball in the box from Bipin, who did well. He then laid it off to Arnold, who's smashed that with the outside of his right boot, only to see it stopped by Arindam.
84' Mirabaje is booked for time-wasting.
82' Kalu Uche has missed an absolute sitter! That's a super ball to him from Ricky and Uche has turned Goian to leave him for dead. With Amrinder's goal at his mercy, Uche's shot has gone well over the bar.
80' ATK have a free-kick from around 30 yards, but Edu Garcia cannot get it down in time to trouble Amrinder.
77' Mumbai have a free-kick in a good area down their left flank, as Ankit needlessly kicks out on Sougou
75' ATK make their final change of the night, as Komal Thatal comes on.

ON - Komal Thatal
OFF - Jayesh Rane
74' Sougou wins the ball away from Pronay, and races into the box, but gets no power on the shot, which rolls through to Arindam.
73' Pronay Halder gets in the referee's book, for leading with his elbow while trying to win a header, and catching Mirabaje in the face.
73' NEARLY! That was nearly the pass of the season from Edu Garcia! He's somehow seen Jayesh's run, and played a pass between Anwar and Subhasish, but Jayesh is just short of keeping the ball under control.
72' Edu Garcia! That's a nice cross floated to the far post by Jayesh, and Uche wins the knockdown and plays it to Garcia, whose left-footed drive is high.
69' ATK are making a double switch, as Eugene's work for the night is done.

ON - Pronay Halder, Ankit Mukherjee
OFF - Eugeneson Lyngdoh, Pritam Kotal
67' Mumbai make their first change of the game, as Pranjal goes off.

ON - Bipin Singh
OFF - Pranjal Bhumij

ATK kept the ball alive from the set-piece, and worked it to Kotal on the right wing. His cross is perfect for Bikey to run onto, and he bullets a header past Amrinder, who really had no chance.
66' GOOD SAVE FROM AMRINDER! It's a nice cross from Pritam, and Balwant has got his head on it, but Amrinder gets down low to his left, and it's a corner. That's taken by Edu, and it's cleared to Jayesh, whose shot from distance is deflected behind for another corner.
65' Souvik goes into the book for a bad foul on Edu Garcia. That's his 4th yellow card of the season, so he's suspended for Mumbai's last league game, which will be against Pune.
64' Once again, Arnold is racing through on the right flank, but he's got the cross wrong again, as Bikey blocks it behind for a corner.
63' Machado releases Issoko on the right, and he's absolutely raced across the turf, and then he's tried to find Sougou in the middle, but his cross is behind the striker.

Machado has found himself in a pocket of space, and he's found a perfect pass through to Sougou, who takes a touch and then slots a simple finish past Arindam! That's that, Mumbai are taking the three points tonight, and they're going through!
56' Jayesh sends in a teasing cross from the right wing, and Souvik has sliced his clearance! Luckily for Mumbai, that's fallen straight into the arms of Amrinder.
54' ATK have a free-kick right by the corner flag on their left flank, as Ricky is blocked off by Issoko, after the full-back had nutmegged the Mumbai winger.
53' Uche has a chance, and then another! On both occasions, he's got very little on his shot! He found himself in space on the far post, and his lob across goal was cleared straight back to him by Goian. On the second shot, Uche has made no contact whatsoever. Mumbai escape.
50' Pranjal finds himself with space to run into on the counter attack. He jinks past Pritam, and then in a little bit of a show of over-ambition, he takes a shot from way out, and it's gone well above the bar.
49' Ricky finds himself in space on the left flank, but his cross is blocked by that man Goian again. Mumbai have defended their box beautifully.
46' That's an early sight of goal for ATK, as Uche gets on the end of a cross, but his header has gone wide.
46' PEEEEEEP! And we're underway, as Uche gets the ball rolling for the restart in Kolkata.
We're just about set for the second half to begin, in Kolkata. Mumbai need to keep their lead intact for a place in the semis. ATK need a mini-miracle to keep their hopes alive.

Mumbai are 45 minutes away from booking a semifinal spot, and it's hard to see them not winning this. ATK have offered very little invention, although they've had a few shots from distance, which have been easy for Amrinder to save. Two superb goals from Mumbai, though, as they always do on the counter-attack. Modou Sougou has broken his goal-drought with a brace, Arnold Issoko has been a constant threat, and Pranjal Bhumij has done superbly down the left flank, tormenting Pritam Kotal.

Can ATK find inspiration for the unlikeliest of all comebacks? I'll be back in ten minutes to describe the action from the second period.
45+2' THAT'S HALF-TIME! Mumbai are in command.
45+1' The corner is towards the far post, from where's it cleared to Ricky on the edge of the area, who attempts to place a shot in the top corner, but it's gone well wide.
45' Subhasish now makes a meal of clearing a cross from Ricky, and it fell to Uche, and on the turn, the Nigerian strikes a fierce low drive, which is nicely pushed behind by Amrinder.
44' Like they must do, Mumbai are just slowing down the game here. They want to get to half-time with their two-goal advantage intact.

A ball over the top on the right flank is tracked down by the pace of Issoko, who puts in a perfect ball into the box, and Sougou can come onto the end of that, and it's an easy finish. Mumbai now have one foot in the playoffs.
38' Jayesh looks to play a one-two with Edu Garcia, but the pass is blocked by Subhasish and falls straight back to Jayesh. His snapshot is also straight at 'keeper and Amrinder can collect easily.
37' Lyngdoh has unleashed a volley from 35 yards out! But that's too central, and the shot is caught easily by Amrinder.
35' Edu Garcia goes low again, but the walls stands its ground, and clears the danger away.
34' That's a free-kick right on the edge of the penalty area, as Anwar hauls Uche down. That was a lovely idea from Eugene in trying to play Uche through.
31' Another good move from ATK, this time it's Gerson who's the instigator. It's played across to Jayesh, whose low cross is hacked behind by Goian for a corner.

That's a lovely ball over the top from Pranjal, after it broke kindly to him in midfield. Sougou's made the run in behind the defence, he's onside, and the finish is beautiful on his weaker left foot. He's just guided it past Arindam and into the far corner.
25' The corner is taken by Machado, and Arindam punches it away. Jayesh misses his kick on the clearance. And Mirabaje can have another shot. This time, it's woefully high.
24' This time, Sougou lays it off to Mirabaje, who looks to shoot straightaway but Gerson, this time, gets the block in, and Mumbai have a corner.
24' Pranjal's played that one to Mirabaje, who's taken one touch out of his feet and then looked to strike from 25 yards out. Good block from Eugene, though.
Reminder, ATK have scored six goals at home this season. This is their eighth match at the Salt Lake.
21' BIG CHANCE FOR MUMBAI! More super play from Pranjal down the left wing! He's stepped over Jayesh and beaten him for dead, his cut-back hasn't really been controlled well by Sougou, and Bikey can easily clear away.
18' Machado's taken a shot from way out! With his left foot, that too. Needless to say, it's flown well off target.
17' That's more superb play from ATK! Edu Garcia has made a run in-behind the Mumbai defence, and is found by a super ball from Jayesh. He's slid in a super ball across the six-yard box, but Uche has stayed on the penalty spot expecting the cut-back! The centre-forward should be busting a gut to be on the last man's shoulders in those situations. Poor from Uche.
14' THAT'S SOME LOVELY INTERPLAY FROM ATK! The excitement is because I have just seen a Steve Coppell side play lovely one-touch football. Jayesh Rane ensures no end product from that, as his cross is disappointing and straight into the waiting arms of AMrinder.
12' That's a super run from Pranjal, who steams past Pritam before getting into the box, and attempting a cut-back to Issoko. But Bikey is there in the right place to clear that away. This is a good spell for Mumbai, who're putting good pressure on ATK.
10' Subhasish brings Jayesh down on the halfway line, and that enable a relief of the pressure that was being built on ATK by Mumbai's high press.
8' Balwant is found in space on the left flank, by a clever Edu Garcia flick, and then as he's attempted to put in a cross, it's blocked by Souvik, where it has struck an arm, but there's no way the referee can give a penalty for that.
7' That's Mumbai's first sight of goal. Machado drives forward from midfield, before laying it off to Issoko. The big man cuts in on his left foot and dinks one towards Sougou, whose flicked header gives no problems for Arindam.
5' The corner is dangerous, as Goian clears from in front of Amrinder, and it ricochets off Uche, but the Nigerian isn't sharp enough to make it stuck.
5' Pritam finds Balwant on the other flank, and he's controlled that with his hand, but there's no whistle, as Balwant's shot is deflected behind for a corner.
4' Mumbai haven't yet settled, as Goian is the latest to misplace a pass, as he overhits an attempted crossfield ping towards Bhumij.
2' That's a nice early move from ATK, as Lyngdoh finds some space in midfield and plays a nice pass through the lines to Uche, who lays it off to Edu Garcia. The Spaniard takes a shot, but scuffs it a little, and that's comfortable for Amrinder to catch.
1' PEEEEEP! And we're off, as Sougou sets the ball rolling in Kolkata
Mumbai will kick us off, in the all gold strip. ATK in their typical red and white.
The teams have shook hands, had their team photos taken, and now Machado and Gerson will line up alongside the match officials for the toss.
The two teams are out on the pitch at the Salt Lake. It's time for Jana Gana Mana.
Modou Sougou hasn't scored since scoring four against Kerala Blasters in December. Can he break that drought for Mumbai tonight?
We're just ten minutes away from kickoff at the Salt Lake. Which way is this one going?
Mumbai need two points to seal qualification, which means a win tonight will be enough. ATK need to win tonight, and then hope for Pune to beat Mumbai, while they themselves beat Delhi Dynamos in the last round of league fixtures for the season.
Changes galore for both sides. Subhasish and Goian come back, in two huge boosts for Mumbai. Eugeneson Lyngdoh gets his first start of the season for ATK, for whom youngster Ashish Pradhan makes a first appearance on the bench.

ATK v Mumbai City ISL Preview:

The race to the ISL playoffs gets interesting with ATK getting ready to host Mumbai City at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on Friday.

Fourth-placed Mumbai City are on 27 points in 16 games, trailing NorthEast United by 1 point. ATK are two spots below Mumbai with 21 points in 16 games and have a lot of catching up to do.

Mumbai City can confirm their spot in the Indian Super League (ISL) playoffs with a win on Friday while ATK's fortunes depend on this game as well the performances by Jamshedpur FC and NorthEast United.

For Mumbai to seal their spot in the last 4, the Jorge Costa-coached side really has to drive their performance up a notch. After big wins over Kerala Blasters (6-1 before the break) and Bengaluru FC (1-0), Mumbai have suffered 3 defeats against FC Goa, Jamshedpur FC and NorthEast United.

Modou Sougou, who has nine goals for Mumbai City, hasn't found the back of the net in his last 2 games (he missed the Goa clash to an injury). While that was attributed to Arnold Issoko's absence in the line-up against Jamshedpur, Issoko returned for the tie against NorthEast but Mumbai still couldn't conquer their strike woes.

ATK, on the other hand, showed promise in their 3 games after the ISL break. Edu Garcia, ATK's winter signing, and Manuel Lanzarote starred for ATK but FC Goa steamrolled past them 3-0 and dented their hopes of making the playoffs.

ATK still stand a mathematical chance and for that, Garcia and Lanzarote will have to come to the fore. Kalu Uche returned from injury and seemed to be the solution for ATK's problems in front of the goal but the Nigerian has not been receiving the right kind of service in the last few games.

Lucian Goian will return from a one-game card suspension for Mumbai and that will make Kalu Uche's job a bit more difficult. Goian has been one of the best defenders in the ISL with more than 150 clearances as well as over 50 tackles.

Marko Klisura will lead the Mumbai defence along with Goian as the Islanders look to prop up their preparations for the ISL playoffs.

When and where to watch: The Live Streaming of the ATK v Mumbai City ISL Live game will be available on Hotstar. The game will be shown on Star Sports Network. The kick-off is at 7.30 pm IST.
