PEEP! PEEP! PEEP! Another late drama in ISL as ATK and Mumbai City FC play out an entertaining 2-2 draw here in Kolkata. Michael Soosairaj gave the hosts the lead after a brilliant interplay of passes in the attacking third. Pratik Chowdhury, despite his awful defending, found himself in the scoresheet after glancing a corner from Mohamed Larbi. In added time of the second half, Serge Kevyn scored what seemed to be the winner after getting at the end of a low cross from another substitute Bipin Singh. But, just when it seemed to be over, Roy Krishna levelled terms, in literally the last kick of the ball, to ensure both the teams go home with a point.
90+6' GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAL! Roy Krishna restores parity for ATK and rescues a point for them from jaws of defeat.

A free-kick in his own half falls in the box and Sarthak Golui wins the ball with his head. He had a brilliant night throughout but this time his headed clearance is wayward and falls straight to the path of Roy Krishna. The Fijian squares the ball between the feet of Amrinder and the ball ends up in the back of the net.
90+5' Roy Krishna in the attacking third inside the box lays it off for an onrushing Edu Garcia. He had two players ahead of him but goes for shot with his toe but it angles to Arindam.
90+4' Serge Kevyn is the impact player and has been awarded the Hero of the Match.
90+2' GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLL! Serge Kevyn scores an amazing goal to give Mumbai City FC possibly the full three points.

Chermiti passes the ball to Bipin Singh in the right flank and he puts the ball in the danger zone behind the defender and ahead of the goalkeeper. Serge Kevyn gets at the end of it and with a simple tap-in makes it 2-1 for Mumbai City FC.
90+1' Mumbai City FC make their final change. They too are playing with four foreigners on the pitch.

OFF- Mohamed Larbi
ON- Raynier Fernandes
5 Minutes have been added on.
89' Amrinder Singh now receives treatment in the pitch. Let's hope that is not serious. We see the physios rubbing ice packs on his knees and Amrinder gulping an energy drink. Looks more of a time-wasting tactic than anything else.
88' Serge Kevyn sweeps the legs of Anas right in front of the ATK manager Antonio Habas. He remonstrates and the referee finally heeds to give a yellow card to that reckless challenge.
87' Mumbai City FC make another change here. The Senegalese who had an off day is brought off.

OFF- Modou Sougou
ON- Bipin Singh
86' Edu Garcia with a delicious corner kick but Sougou rises first and the ball pinballs to Sehnaj Singh at the outside of the box. His shot from distance goes nowhere.
85' What is going on here? Pratik Chowdhury heads it behind for Amrinder but he is off his line. Lucky for him, it trickles away for a corner-kick than an own goal.
84' Frustrated with ATK's earlier attempts, Edu Garcia takes a shot from 40-yards out but is wide. Arindam happy to see that go out of danger.
83' And, Modou Sougou takes his first shot, I think. The Senegalese takes a shot from glory after getting the better of Anas but it is high and Arindam sees it comfortably going out of play.
82' Balwant Singh tugs the shirt of Sauvik Chakrabarty here. You can have his shirt after the referee blows his full-time whistle, boy!
80' And, Anas Edathodika goes into the book for doing what Mumbai City FC have been doing all night long. Paulo Machado tries to break on the counter and the Indian international with a bad and clumsy challenge brings him down. Anas is stretchered off the field nonetheless because he has injured himself with that tackle too.
78' ATK make their second substitution. ATK are playing with four foreigners in the pitch.

OFF- Javi Hernandez
ON- Balwant Singh.
76' The referee has lost control of the game here. We have Mumbai City FC and ATK players fighting in the pitch. Rowllin Borges pulls down Edu Garcia from behind and the referee again keeps the cards to his pocket. Committing fouls upfront is Jorge Costa's plan and the referee seems to have played straight into his hands.
75' MISS! That is the miss of the season from Mohamed Larbi. Machado with a brilliant tackle and releases Serge Kevyn on the left flank. Anas and Agus are busy marking Modou Sougou and Larbi has a shot at an empty net. But, he fails to keep it goalbound and Jorge Costa is distraught like anything on the touchline.
74' Edu Garcia with a free-kick floats a cross trying to find Agus but he was offside and doesn't go for the ball.
72' A delightful through ball from Mumbai City FC's own half ends up with Serge Kevyn through on goal from the right flank. But, Anas tracks back and gets a block to his shot before Soosairaj controls the ball.
71' Modou Sougou and Arindam are in a heated argument with the ball in play. Chermiti, very typical of himself, tries to indulge in this fight too.
69' Sehnaj Singh wins an aerial duel and gives the ball to Prabir Das. He gives a through ball to Edu Garcia but Sarthak Golui, right on his heels, clears the danger.
67' CHANCE! Prabir Das with a beautiful cross and Amrinder punches it poorly to Soosairaj. No one is marking him and he should have taken a touch before going for glory. But, he chooses to go for the spectacular and the shot is off target.
65' How did Mumbai City FC miss that? Paulo Machado strolls past Anas and Augustin Iniguez and squares it for an unmarked Serge Kevyn inside the box. The Gabonese takes a shot but it is inches wide.
64' How has the referee not given that foul? Paulo Machado shoves David Williams from behind right ahead of the penalty box. Looks like ATK has left all hopes from this referee and not even remonstrating.
62' GOOOOAAAALLLLL! And, Pratik Chaudhari pulls one back for Mumbai City FC.

The Islanders' Mohamed Larbi takes an inswinging corner at the near post. Michael Soosairaj and Edu Garcia are caught ball watching and Chaudhari towers above everyone to knock the ball home.
60' David Williams gives the ball back to Sehnaj Singh and he finds Roy Krishna inside the box. He takes a touch to fool the marker and goes for a shot at goal. But, it is wide and Mumbai City FC survive a scare.
59' Carl McHugh is out from the game. It was his mistake as he went all over Chermiti. But, in the follow-through, he rolled his ankle and it is swelled. Let's hope he is back soon. He should be out for a week.

OFF- Carl McHugh
ON- Agustin Iniguez
58' Things starting to boil between Mumbai City FC's Amine Chermiti and Roy Krishna here. The Tunisian was indulged in an altercation against Jose Leudo in NorthEast United game. This is bad.
57' Edu Garcia takes a shot from distance but it trickles the legs of Sarthak Golui before going out of play.
56' How is that not a card here? Pratik Chaudhari pushes Roy Krishna down straight in front of the referee. He doesn't even have his eyes on the ball. This is pathetic refereeing.
54' Roy Krishna goes past Rowllin and Sauvik Chakraborty hacks him down. The Fijian goes tumbling into the ground doing a forward roll but the referee keeps the cards to his pocket.
53' The half-time talk from Habas seems to give Edu Garcia the ball and he will lob an inswinging cross. The Spaniard does that again but Sarthak Golui is up to the challenge here and clears the ball.
51' No one closes Edu Garcia and the Spaniard with a cross-field diagonal ball trying to find an ATK man on the box. Pratik Chaudhari gets his head to the ball first but it falls only as near as Prabir Das who was inside the box. He takes a first-time effort but his shot kisses the sky before going out.
50' Paulo Machado has to do all the running here and he skews a long ball, more in hope than anything else, that a Mumbai City FC player will be there. But, it is straight to Arindam.
49' And, there is the change. It should have been made at half-time itself.

OFF- Diego Carlos
ON- Serge Kevyn
48' Diego Carlos is down after pulling his hamstring muscle. He is signalling to the bench. Concerns for Jorge Costa.
47' Soosairaj straight into the action in the second half. He dazzles past Sougou and the Senegalese pulls him down.
46' PEEP! Mumbai City FC gets us away from left to right in the second half here in our idiot box.
The unsung hero for ATK is Edu Garcia. He has one assist to his name but has created the most number of chances- 3. With a passing accuracy of 68%, only David Williams, Sehnaj Singh, and Carl McHugh are the outfield players who have a number higher than him.
Now, let's talk about the goalscorer Michael Soosairaj. Two shots taken, one on target which turned out to be the goal. He also has two crosses to his name but needs to improve on his passing accuracy. He has attempted 21 passes but only 10 were successful. Soosairaj needs to work on his decision-making in the final third.
Sarthak Golui is the man who has impressed me the most. The only silver lining in awful Mumbai City FC defense. He has 3 clearances and 2 blocks to his name apart from 89% passing accuracy.
There is the half-time whistle and ATK are leading one goal to nil here at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata courtesy of an exquisite finish from Michael Soosairaj. Jorge Costa's team has lots of ground to cover because this ATK defense looks unpenetrable despite having more number of chances.
45+3' A good leap by Diego Carlos and he heads it centrally trying to find Sougou. Carl McHugh is beaten here but Arindam stumbles to collect the ball.
45+2' A miscued clearance from Mumbai City FC goes straight to the feet of the goal-scorer. Soosairaj goes past one and tries to go past Sarthak but fails to do so.
45+1' Great tackle by Paulo Machado. Javi Hernandez to David Williams to Edu Garcia and the Spaniard has a run at goal. But, the Portuguese with a flying tackle from behind to get the ball.
Three minutes added on.
45' Soosairaj gets the ball and he has acres of space. Larbi tracks back but is beaten and he takes a shot from distance. But, it is high and wide.
44' Edu sneaks from behind and steals the ball from the feet of Subhasish. He lays it off for Prabir Das but Subhasish makes up for his previous mistake by clearing the ball.
41' The ATK chant goes up by the crowd. The 30,000+ people are surely having a great time here at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.
39' CHANCE! Michael Soosairaj, buoyed by the goal, whips a beautiful low cross across the face of goal looking for Williams. But, Sarthak is up for the challenge and clears the ball. The ball had touched Williams before going out, so it is a goal-kick to Mumbai City FC.
38' GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL! Michael Soosairaj gets his first ISL 2019-20 goal and gives ATK the lead. Edu Garcia finds the Mumbai City FC defense in sixes and sevens and puts the ball onto the path of an onrushing Soosairaj with his first touch. Souvik Chakrabarti failed to see his run and the Tamil Nadu lad blasts the ball pasts Amrinder with his first time effort. That was a brilliant build-up. Williams to Javi to Edu to Soosairaj to the back of the net!
37' And, the referee cautions Rowllin Borges. The next time you do something like that, you are going in the book. Pratik tugs the shirt of Williams from back and Rowllin with a late challenge gets his shin.
33' CHANCE! How did Mumbai City FC miss that? Rowllin releases Diego Carlos on the left flank. The Brazilian swings a low cross into the box and Carl McHugh misses his clearance. Sougou, instead of taking a first-time shot and blasting the ball into the back of the net, goes for the control and Anas and Soosairaj overcrowd him and get the ball off his feet.
30' Well, Mumbai City FC's tactics look clear here. Never give ATK a break and if that means concede a lot of fouls, hell on with that! That has been the case so far. Edu Garcia has a headband after that foul. But, stats show Mumbai City FC has only conceded three against ATK's seven. Well, that is because the referee has been kind to Mumbai!
29' There is the first booking of the game. Subhasish Bose goes on the book for a high boot on Edu Garcia, who was looking threatening on the counter after Anas found him.
27' Edu Garcia lays it off for David Williams in front of Mumbai back four. He turns an take a shot from glory from 30 yards out but the ball drizzles away for a goal kick. Replays suggest Pratik Chaudhari had a touch to it, but no one from ATK complaining apart from Edu Garcia for taking a first-time shot instead of giving it to Javi Hernandez.
26' CHANCE for Mumbai! Diego Carlos tries to release Chermiti but Arindam is very brave enough to come out and go down to catch the ball.
24' Fouls on both the ends halting the intensity of the play. Sarthak Golui is playing well today. Haven't made the lack of foreigner in Mumbai City FC back four being exploited
22' ATK find themselves in the back foot for most of the time. But, their counter is swift. They are converting defense into attack in three to four passes.
21' Rowllin Borges kicks straight in the nose of Javi Hernandez. Fortunately for the Spaniard, there is no blood. How did Borges survive a yellow there?
19' CHANCE! First real chance for ATK and they almost scored from it. Javier Hernandez squares it to David Williams and he lays it off for an onrushing Soosairaj. He tries a deft touch to beat his marker but gets beaten. Luckily, the ball is back with ATK with Javi Hernandez but his shot is blocked by Sarthak Golui. Mumbai City FC breath a collective sigh of relief.
16' Paulo Machado takes a free-kick but the elevation is way too strong. Nothing will come out of here and Jorge Costa is frustrated here, gesturing in the air and murmuring something in Portuguese showing his disappointment.
15' The away team is dominating possession. Mumbai City FC has exploited ATK's back-three brilliantly. ATK has got a few chances to attack but looked deadly. They need to get more chances to get something here.
13' ATK look to break on the counter and Javi Hernandez with a delightful through ball piercing the centre of the two defenders. Roy Krishna races to the ball but Amrinder gets there first.
12' Mumbai City FC's Diego Carlos with another low cross down the left flank after he beats Anas. But, Pritam Kotal gets a hasty clearance first before Sehnaj Singh averts the danger with his long kick.
10' Foul to Mumbai City FC, but for what? Subhasish with a long ball to Chermiti on the left flank and Anas pushes him from behind trying to win the ball. It was fifty-fifty and shouldn't have been given. But, Mumbai City FC fails to make anything of the free-kick from that area.
8' FOUL? The referee says no. Williams is caught from behind on his ankles in the air by Sauvik Chakrabarty but the referee doesn't give anything. The replays suggest it was a clear-cut foul. He was the last man and should have seen red early in the game. Lucky boy, Sauvik.
7' Mumbai City FC go down the right flank through Modou Sougou but his faulty clearance is dealt well by the ATK defense.
6' Mumbai City FC's tactic is clear. Hit on the area behind the wing-backs. Looks like Michael Soosairaj and Prabir Das have a lot of defensive work to do tonight.
4' CHANCE! Rowllin Borges releases Diego Carlos on the left flank and the Brazilian swings in a cross trying to find a Mumbai City FC man after beating Prabir Das. Amine Chermiti goes up in the air and Arindam spills the initial ball. Anas reacts quickly to clear the ball, with Modou Sougou lurking just behind him to tap it home.
3' Mumbai City FC win their first foul on the game. Anas Edathodika brings him down in the centre circle after he failed to get his head at the end of a long ball.
1' Paulo Machado gives a good cross-field pass trying to find Amine Chermiti. But, the assistant raises his flag. The replays suggest Pritam Kotal had played him on.
1' PEEP! ATK's Edu Garcia gets us going from the left to right of our idiot box.
National Anthems done, photographs taken, and starting line-ups exchanged! It is time for kick-off after the commercial break.
Both the teams are out of the tunnel. ATK are wearing their traditional red and white strips. Mumbai City FC, on the other hand, are donning their royal blue jersey.
Read our full-length match preview by Aaditya Narayan on this encounter between ATK and Mumbai City FC here
Mumbai City FC have fielded an unchanged side from the one that held NorthEast United FC 2-2. Here are some snaps of them training courtesy of their social media handles.
Well, Tollywood actors Dev and Dhrubo Banerjee are in the stands to support ATK in their match against Mumbai City FC. That is a lot of star-power both on and off the field for the home side.
Surprised that John Johnson isn't even on the bench for ATK. Looks like he is having a niggle. The same goes with Pronay Halder, who suffered a knock in India's World Cup Qualifier match against Oman and had to brought off. Get well soon, both of you!
Looking at the starting line-ups, all I can say is that Rowllin Borges has big responsibilities on his shoulders. The trio of Edu Garcia, David Williams, and Roy Krishna should wreak havoc upfront if Borges doesn't cut the supply in the midfield.

If ATK stick to their back-three, Mumbai City FC would be more than happy as their trio of Amine Chermiti, Modou Sougou, and Diego Carlos will be even in numbers against them. But, if they shift themselves to a back-four, I don't see how Mumbai City FC will score a goal here.

Prediction: ATK 5-0 Mumbai City FC
Mumbai City FC's Jorge Costa is sticking up to his all-Indian backline and his favoured 4-4-3. But, against a solid defense like ATK, will that work?

Starting Line-up (4-3-3): Amrinder Singh (GK), Pratik Chaudhari, Subhasish Bose, Sarthak Golui, Sauvik Chakrabarti, Rowllin Borges, Mohamed Larbi, Paulo Machado, Modou Sougou, Mohamed Larbi, Amine Chermiti

Subs: Ravi Kumar (GK), Mato Grgic, Bidyananda Singh, Raynier Fernandes, Bipin Singh, Mohammed Rafique, Serge Kevyn
And, we have ATK's line-up! Mumbai City FC's threat lie in the wings. To counter that, it looks like Antonio Lopez Habas has ditched his back three and going to field his team in a 4-3-3 formation.

Starting Line-up (4-3-3): Arindam Bhattacharja (GK), Pritam Kotal, Anas Edathodika, Prabir Das, Carl McHugh, Sehnaj Singh, Javier Hernandez, Michael Soosairaj, David Williams, Roy Krishna, Edu Garcia

Subs: Dheeraj Singh (GK), Salam Ranjan Singh, Sumit Rathi, Agustin Iniguez, Balwant Singh, Jayesh Rane, Jobby Justin
Ladies and gentlemen, this is Abhishek Kundu, your host for tonight and I will guide you through the thick and thins of the action of the match between ATK and Mumbai City FC. The line-ups should be out at any moment.
Delighted that I got a chance to play for the senior team of ATK: Sumit Rathi

India U-19 international Sumit Rathi made his debut for ATK in their previous game against Odisha FC and was delighted that he got an opportunity to prove himself. The 18-year-old opened up to ISL's official website and will be raring to make an impact against Mumbai City FC.

"When I signed for ATK, I made it clear to myself that I wanted to play for their senior team. I am happy that finally I got a chance to play for the senior team. The coaching staff helped me a lot to develop myself. There is a lot to learn in ISL. Anas Edathodika comes up to me everytime after training sessions so that I know when to be aggressive and when not to be."
ATK has been a goal machine this season and this stat corroborates it!
It was my dream to play at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata: Sarthak Golui

Indian international defender Sarthak Golui opened up to the ISL's official website ahead of their clash against ATK and he was delighted to score his first goal against a team of the stature of FC Goa.

"It felt great to score against a good team like FC Goa. We were 2-0 down and after I scored, Sauvik (Chakraborty) scored as well. At that moment, we had a good chance to win the match but unfortunately lost it. As a defender, I was very pleased that I was able to score a goal. Against Northeast United FC, we conceded both the goals due to misplaced passes. The coach points out the mistakes what we make in our meetings. All our players have recovered from injuries and hopefully, the results should start coming soon. It was a dream of mine to play in the Salt Lake Stadium from my childhood, as I am a local boy. I have invited my friends and family and let's hope that with their support, I can give a good performance."
Here is an interesting stat to cheer Mumbai City FC fans!
Predicted line-ups

ATK: Arindam Bhattacharja (GK), Pritam Kotal, Anas Edathodika, Prabir Das, Agustin Iniguez, Carl McHugh, Jayesh Rane, Javier Hernandez, Joby Justin, David Williams, Roy Krishna

Mumbai City FC: Amrinder Singh (GK), Pratik Chaudhari, Subhasish Bose, Sarthak Golui, Sauvik Chakrabarti, Rowllin Borges, Raynier Fernandes, Paulo Machado, Modou Sougou, Mohamed Larbi, Amine Chermiti
There are no big or small teams in ISL: Anas Edathodika

Anas Edathodika has played down the favorites card and believes all the teams are equal in the ISL. The Indian international also said that every team goes out to play for three points.

"There are no big or small teams in the Hero ISL. Every team goes out there to win the three points. I have confidence in my team. If we continue playing like this, we will succeed. I am focused on the next match. It’s important for the team and we want to do well."
We have been making silly errors: Mumbai City FC's goalkeeper Amrinder Singh

Mumbai City FC's goalkeeper Amrinder Singh addressed the media with their head coach Jorge Costa in the customary pre-match conference. When quizzed as to why the team has conceded so many goals, India's shot-stopper replied that it has much to do with their lack of concentration which has led them to make silly errors.

“I think it’s the team’s collective failure. We’ve been making some silly errors and we want to rectify them moving forward. If we want to go to the top of the table then we will have to cut down on our mistakes soon. For the immediate future, I just want to give my best against ATK and ensure that I don’t make any silly error. We will all try to produce our best.”
Mumbai City FC are a difficult team to play against: ATK's head coach Antonio Lopez Habas

ATK sit comfortably on the top of the table suffering only one loss. But, their head coach is still wary of the threat posed by Mumbai City FC, in counter-attack, in particular. Here is what he had to say in the pre-match press conference:

"Mumbai City are a very difficult team to play against. They are terrific in counter-attacks. It’s going to be a difficult match for us. The target for the match obviously is to go out there and win but the opponents will have the same idea. This is football. As long as we play a good match, I will be happy."
We can go back home with three points: Mumbai City FC's head coach Jorge Costa

Despite sitting in the seventh spot at ISL Table, Mumbai City FC's head coach Jorge Costa is unfazed of the challenge posed by table-toppers ATK. The Portuguese believes his team can pick up the full three points away on the trot.

"I think we can stop ATK. To be honest, I think my 11 players can stop ATK and beat them. They play very well, they play as a team and it’s true that they have quality up top with two players. But my aim isn’t to stop those two players, my aim is to stop their entire team and then put some pressure on them with our quality. Because we have the quality to score against them and beat them."
ISL 2019 Live, ATK vs Mumbai City FC Preview:

The ISL leaders ATK will be eyeing a third consecutive win at home when they host Mumbai City FC here at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium on Saturday. Antonio Habas' team sit at the top of the table with 10 points from 5 matches and have been exceptional in their home games.

This will be the third game at home for ATK, after thrashing Hyderabad FC 5-0 and then defeating Jamshedpur 3-1 in their first two matches here. Mumbai City FC, on the other hand, are yet to lose on the road, having won one and drawn twice.

In their previous encounter against Odisha FC, ATK's attack failed to deliver and drew a blank. But, in the previous four matches, they slammed ten goals past their opponents and have a joint highest number of goals so far in the league. But amidst their attacking prowess on show, the defenders' work has gone unnoticed - the three-man backline, with Soosairaj and Prabir Das as wing-backs, has conceded only three goals for ATK. “Every match is absolutely different. We are trying to find the intensity and pace. We cannot win every match. But we have not lost also,” said coach Habas.

Mumbai City FC are languishing at seventh in the standings with five points from as many games and their last outing was a 2-2 draw away to NorthEast United. They were dominant for most parts of the game and seemed more likely to take away full points and this gives Jorge Costa hope to get back on track and start piling up wins. City Football Group announced the purchase of majority stakes at Mumbai City FC and this should act as a boost for the players and the staff on the field.

With Modou Sougou struggling with fitness early on, Amine Chermiti has filled the gap seamlessly for Mumbai City FC, scoring three goals in five matches. The likes of Diego Carlos and Paulo Machado have been dangerous on the ball but it will be a challenging task against a rock-solid ATK defence.

Mumbai City FC have the league's joint-worst defence after five games, and ahead of a fixture against ATK who have been prolific in front of goal, Jorge Costa's top priority will be to shore up his defensive third. “We are making some mistakes that we will try to fix. We can fix. As a team, we are doing well but some individual mistakes are costing us the game. But we have got time to fix this and hopefully, we will finish where we want to finish,” said Costa.

ATK edge the contest on paper, but can Mumbai City FC, fresh from an off-field injection deliver a twist in the tale?
