On the other hand, ATK have won four of their six home games and scored 13 goals on the home turf.
NorthEast United have had a difficult time on the road this season. Their only win away from home came against Hyderabad FC, on the 6th of November. NEUFC have scored just three goals in away games, the least in the league this term.
ATK are missing the services of David Williams for the third consecutive match due to an injury. Pronay Halder is another notable absentee from the squad due to an injury.

NorthEast United began their downfall in the season with injury scares to their stellar performers. Asamoah Gyan was injured and later replaced, and the club parted ways with Panagiotis Triadis in December. Federico Gallego, registered in place of Maximiliano Barreiro, too has failed to find his feet this season, deepening Jarni's woes.

When both the sides faced each other in the reverse fixture at Guwahati, ATK stole the show through the A-League heroes - Roy Krishna and David Williams. While Krishna completed a brace, Williams backed his partner with a goal and an assist.

"We have seven matches left. We are aware of the situation. But we are optimistic, and we will always fight for the little hope to qualify for the semis. We will do everything we can to win the match. We are working on the way to go about it,” Robert Jari spoke about the playoff spots.
“I think they (NorthEast) are a difficult opponent, just like all opponents in the Hero ISL. The difference between teams is very small. We have to be careful in the match. We have to concentrate. We have to be at our maximum discipline and show good attitude against NorthEast.” ATK head coach Antonio Lopez Habas said in the pre-match press conference.
ATK are currently third on the points table with 24 points from 13 games and would be aiming to go atop the table once again with some quality brand football. NorthEast United, on the other hand, are in a state of concern with only 11 points from 11 games but enjoys the advantage of having played three games less than most other sides in the league. Placed ninth on the table, losing even a point would almost put an end to the Highlanders' playoff dreams.
Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the ISL match between ATK and NorthEast United at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. A high-flying ATK will be in the hunt for all three points when they lock horns with Robert Jarni's struggling NorthEast United.
