So that's it! The sluggish ATK take all the three points from this encounter, courtesy a late header by Gerson Vieira. That means FC Pune City have succumbed to their sixth defeat this season. Their time in the ISL 2018-19 is going from bad to worse and this defeat could dash their hopes of making it to the playoffs.
Steve Coppell is a happy man as his boys do just about enough to bag the full points from this game.
That's it from me, Aravind Suchindran. Follow Sportskeeda for further updates. See ya!
90+4' Time running out really for FC Pune City. ATK successfully retain the ball next to the corner flag.
A bad clearance by Kamaljit gives Ricky a chance to shoot from far but his shot is easily blocked by a defender.
90+1' Everton Santos goes on the counter all by himself and wins a free-kick down the left for ATK. Lanzarote steps up again...plays it short and goes to the endline, winning a corner.
Five minutes added.
87' The momentum is with ATK now. That goal has given them a new sense of confidence and they are pushing higher up for their second, restricting the play to FC Pune City's half. Gerson helps the clock tick away by feigning a cramp.
82' Just before the goal, ATK made their final change as Balwant's negligible shift comes to an end.
OFF - Balwant Singh (15)
ON - Hitesh Sharma (18)

Pune to make a change.
OFF - Martin Diaz (21)
ON - Adil Khan (5)
82' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLL! And that's the moment we have all been waiting for in this game! It couldn't have come at any better time.
Moments after ATK let a chance go waste, Gerson rescues his team and possibly scores the winner.
Lanzarote back-heel sets up Jayesh Rane, who chips the ball to the left post.
Gerson makes the run and drops at the right moment to deflect the ball into the bottom-left.
78' MISS!
Nikhil Poojary, again, is just unable to get his head in the game.
He tries to head a precise cross into the box but fails to make anything out of it.
76' The full-back too is taken off.
OFF - Aiborlang Khongjee (2)
ON - Ankit Mukherjee (28)
76' Just before the free-kick, ATK make a couple of changes.
OFF - Komal Thatal (11)
ON - Jayesh Rane (16)
76' Confusion!
Lanzarote's take is deflected off the wall for a corner by Ashutosh.
The corner-kick is more dangerous and Kamaljit Singh gloves the ball away from the far post.
The players are left wondering whether the linesman called it out of bounds and the play continues.
Everton Santos is unable to shoot from close range!
75' FOUL!
Everton Santos controls the ball and loses possession while trying to turn at the edge of the box and goes for the slightest of touches from Ashutosh Mehta. The Pune players argue with the ref but the decision stays. Can Lanzarote convert now?
There's a yellow shown as well for an off-the-ball challenge.
Yellow - Martin Diaz (FC Pune City)
72' Lanzarote whips the resultant free-kick nicely into the box, but Sahil is the first to reach it and he stops the momentum of the ball to let Kamaljit collect it.
71' Sahil tries to shield the ball but ends up tripping Lanzarote. A bit of playacting by the Spaniard and Sahil sees a booking.
Yellow - Sahil Panwar (FC Pune City)
Lanzarote delights the crowd with a sizzling through-ball to Aiborlang on the right, but the full-back is unable to drop a cross into the box.
Frustration growing for the hosts.
67' At the other end, Robin, who is trying to make an impact since the very beginning of the match, shoots low from outside the box. He squeezes the ball in between the defenders but it is straight at Arindam Bhattacharja, who is not worried.
64' Pradhyum Reddy brings on fresh legs as Ashutosh Mehta comes on against his former club.
OFF - Sarthak Golui (16)
ON - Ashutosh Mehta (18)
63' Everton Santos takes it upon himself to break the deadlock.
He fires at the goal from outside the box but the shot is poor, raising on its way to Kamaljit to go over the bar.
And ATK make a mess of it. That's unbelievable. Komal Thatal provides a ball from the right for Balwant Singh at the centre.
Balwant has to glide back but he still keeps the chance alive by heading it to Everton Santos.
Santos lays it up nicely for Lanzarote, who is in two minds and goes lazily go goal, which is denied by Gurtej Singh.
56' Abhishek Halder moves up the ranks to finally make his senior team debut for FC Pune City.
OFF - Alwyn George (12)
ON - Abhishek Halder (28)
56' Another ball to chase for Aiborlang and it goes out for a goal-kick. ATK's intensity has drastically dropped in the second half. Can Lanzarote inspire them to a sensation win here tonight?
50' Chance wasted.
ATK patiently building up the attack with a few short passes but one long ball to change the flank, aimed at Ricky, gives the possession away. Pune have their own counter going with Robin Singh winning the ball in the middle of the park but Nikhil Poojary lets the chance fly.
46' The second half is underway and Robin Singh immediately goes to the ground after colliding with Gerson Vieira seconds after the restart. He requires treatment but is alright now.
It's goalless at half time between these two sides and FC Pune City should consider themselves lucky to not have conceded. Manuel Lanzarote has simply been wonderful for ATK, hitting the post once and getting close to scoring on one more occasion just before the break. FC Pune City have been unable to create any clear-cut chances and have seen their efforts parried away by the defenders or emphatically stopped by Arindam Bhattacharja.
Yet, it's all even at the break but the hosts will be looking to come out all guns blazing in the second half. Stay tuned!
Two minutes added.
45' LANZZZZZZYYYYYYYY! And that's just wide of the post again for ATK, making the crowd moan with disappointment
Gerson links up really well with Lanzarote, who controls the ball on the left side of the box and fires one into the bottom-right corner. Kamaljit is beaten and so is the goal-frame.
Ashique Kuruniyan on the right, steps to the left for space and tries to curl the ball into the top-left corner but John Johnson comes up with a deflection. Jonathan Vila has a go again but it doesn't go beyond the sea of defenders ATK have lined up right in front of the ball.
41' Arindam Bhattacharja steps out, takes a giant leap to collect the free-kick dropped to the left side of the box. ATK on the attack again now. Can they break the deadlock before half-time?
37' OUCH!
Vila takes an elbow to the face from Gerson while going for the ball. But the ref gives a free-kick in favour of ATK!
You can see him bleeding there, ref. Come on!
33' Jonathan Vila trips Everton Santos, looking to stop the ATK midfielder's maze-y run. He instead finds himself on the referee's book. ATK, on the other hand, have a free-kick from a good area again but Lanzarote's take is nowhere close to the post this time!
Yellow - Jonathan Vila (FC Pune City)
29' FC Pune City have a corner after Sahil Panwar's sluggish shot is deflected off John Johnson.
The flag-kick is dropped right into the centre and Arindam Bhattacharja comfortably picks it up.
25' Ashique enters the referee's book for dissent.
The winger reacts to the foul that the ref signalled for shielding the ball from Pronay Halder. Third yellow of the season for the youngster.
Yellow - Ashique Kuruniyan (FC Pune City)
22' Balwant goes for goal from 30 yards out and Kamaljit punches the ball away. Lanzarote has made a run into the box but he can't get near the ball and ATK are unlucky again.
20' Ricky takes care of the ricochet.
FC Pune City's Ashique controls the ball on the left, turns and unleashes a boomer into the goal.
Arindam Bhattacharja dives to block it and there's a Pune player ready to pounce on the rebound but Ricky clears it away for a corner.
Gerson's run is stopped by Alwyn George just outside the box and ATK have a free-kick from a dangerous area. It almost seemed like penalty but Pune can breathe easy. For now.
Lanzarote and Bikey line up to take it.
It's Lanzaroooteeeeeeeeeeeyyyyy and OOOOHH NOOO, it's off the post.
So unlucky, so so unlucky.
15' Decent effort.
Komal Thatal shows his pace down the left and fires a ball into the box for ATK. It's meant to be a cross but it goes to Kamaljit, who collects it like a shot on target.
11' Referee Palmson Moses makes Lanzarote re-take a free-kick as the official is yet to blow the whistle. Lanzarote whips the ball into the near post on the second attempt and it takes Pune by surprise. But they are just able to clear their lines and kick away from danger.
9' Both teams are applying pressure on each other to gain the possession of the ball. ATK are not letting Pune mount a shot on target with some good pressing.
ATK win a free-kick from 30 yards out but Manuel Lanzarote's take flows inches wide of the post. Good stuff by ATK so far.
2' SAVE!
Kamaljit forced into the action early on as he emphatically blocks the shot from outside the box by Pronay Halder.
ATK get things going and an early lob to Balwant goes out of bounds for a throw in, in favour of FC Pune City.
The players are about to come out on the pitch and we're about 10 minutes away from kick off. Indian Anthem up!
Emiliano Alfaro is not match-fit, says Robin Singh, explaining why the Uruguayan is missing from the squad.
Big worry for ATK:
Kalu Uche, ATK's main target man, suffered a quadriceps injury in their previous match against Bengaluru FC and has gone to Barcelona to recover. “Kalu has gone back to Barcelona. Kalu had an extensive tear in his quadriceps muscle – a grade three, which is quite bad. He has gone back to Barcelona to seek further medical treatment there,” Steve Coppell, ATK coach, said before the match.
Just the one change for ATK. Kalu Uche is injured and Steve Coppell to use Andre Bikey as an extra option in the defence
Emiliano Alfaro is missing from the squad strangely and Alwyn George starts for the visitors.
Lalchhuanmawia Fanai starts from the bench for FC Pune City and Sahil Panwar is accommodated. Nikhil Poojari too starts and it's an all-Indian strike force for Pune, who are going with just three foreigners into the game.

Hello, this is Aravind Suchindran, and welcome to Sportskeeda's Live coverage of the game between ATK and FC Pune City. The line-ups will be out at any moment and it will be interesting to see what XI Pradhyum Reddy fields in the absence of his three best foreign players.
ATK have scored three goals from counter-attacks this season - the second highest after Jamshedpur FC (4). On the other hand, Pune have conceded three goals ffrom the counter. They have let in 15 goals this season, the most by any team.
Emiliano Alfaro has only one goal to his credit this season. His accuracy has been poor, just 33.33 per cent. If Pune are to secure their first win of the season, Alfaro needs to find his touch.
Five of the eight goals ATK have conceded so far in the league have come from set pieces (three were free-kicks and two were corners)
Probable XI:
ATK: Arindam Bhattacharja (GK), Aiborlang Khongjee, Gerson Vieira, John Johnson, Ricky Lallawmawma, Pronay Halder, Noussair El Maimouni, Everton Santos, Komal Thatal, Manuel Lanzarote (C), Balwant Singh.

FC Pune City:  Kamaljit Singh (GK), Gurtej Singh (C), Matt Mills, Lalchhuanmawia Fanai, Martin Diaz, Adil Khan, Jonathan Vila, Sarthak Golui, Ashique Kuruniyan, Robin Singh, Emiliano Alfaro.
ATK vs FC Pune City preview:

ATK will hope to clinch all three points when they host bottom-of-the-table FC Pune City at the Salt Lake Stadium (Vivekananda Yuba Bharti Krirangan) on Saturday.

ATK have been somewhat inconsistent in the league so far. Despite signing top players like Manuel Lanzarote, Kalu Uche and John Johnson in each of the departments, they have just seven points in six matches.

Despite enjoying the lead through a fantastic Komal Thatal strike, ATK went on to lose 1-2 to Bengaluru FC last week.

The combination of Manuel Lanzarote and Everton Santos will have to pull up their socks to inspire ATK again. At the backline, the onus is on Johnson and Gerson Vieira to ensure that ATK get their first clean sheet in the ISL.

Meanwhile, nothing seems to be going right for the Stallions, who are yet to manage a win this season. Pune fired head coach Miguel Angel Portugal after just three games but interim coach Pradhyum Reddy has been unable to change their fortunes in the league.

Pune have just two points in six matches and another loss might kill their hopes of making it to the playoffs.

ATK will miss the services of Uche for this match as the Nigerian is nursing a calf injury. For Pune, Diego Carlos and Marcelinho are suspended for a couple of red-card offences while Marko Stankovic is yet to recover from an injury.

Emiliano Alfaro might return to the starting line-up to bolster the attack for Pune. The Uruguayan has scored just once this season and has failed to convert two penalties for Pune City. Reddy, however, doesn't have any other option but to field him.

Pune have won five and just lost one of the eight matches against ATK. However, going by current form and the availability of players, ATK can come out the victors in this one.
