One of those matches where you just can't decide who deserved to win. But at the same time, a draw isn't a fair result because nobody deserved to get the point today. A boring game where it's was all end-to-end stuff at one point and a then just have passes at half line between Pique and Mascherano the next second. Barcelona started off strongly and were in the driving seat from the word go. Atletico though were happy to let the hosts keep possession of the ball and sit back. the defence looked rock solid as usual and it too a beauty of a cross from Iniesta in the 41st minute for Barcelona to finally break through. Ivan Rakitic was unmarked in the box and he nodded in the first goal of the game in the 41st minute. The 2nd half kicked off with some amazing end-to-end stuff as both teams tried to score but it dried down once again when Barcelona got control of the ball. Messi went down injured in the 58th minute and was straight away taken off. Atletico Madrid also brought on Correa at the same time and the Atletico Madrid striker scored with his first couple of touches. The match looked to have opened up but it as the same old story again. Atletico were happy to sit back and defend while Barcelona tried to find a hole in the wall. Nothing significant took place in the last 30 minutes and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

...

63' Barcelona are doing their best to get back into the game but Oblak denies Neymar who curled one into the far post. Resulting corner is poor one and cleared with ease.

...

60' GOAL FOR ATLETICO MADRID!

Just as I was going to type that Angel Correa has come on, he SCORED!

Torres nutmeg'd Pique and Correa skipped past Mascherano who slipped and fell flat on his face! Correa then was left top beat just Ter Stegen and had the goal wide open. The ball goes in off the near post and Atletico madrid are level!
