Barcelona won the match but lost the title. It is slowly turning out to be a nightmare of a season for them. They still have the Copa del Rey final against Alaves to look forward to.
Do join us next week for the coverage of that match.
Until then it is Shaurya Vineet signing off.

Adios and good night!
...
Barcelona came back excellently to ensure that they end the season on a high. But despite finishing with 90 points they finish second behind Real Madrid - who have 93 points.
Inui scored twice to rattle the home side but Barcelona continued bombing forward and were rewarded after 63 minutes when Neymar's shot cannoned off the upright and struck Junca before going in.
Barcelona were awarded a dubious penalty after Alba kicked the floor and went down inside the box. Yoel saved Messi's penalty which was drilled down the middle.
Luis Suarez atoned for his earlier mistakes as he poked home from a yard out, after Alcacer had flicked the ball towards the far post.
Barcelona won another penalty after Capa fouled Neymar inside the box, he was sent off for his second bookable offence and Messi dispatched the penalty this time. He added a second in added time when he dribbled through the entire Eibar team to help Barcelona win 4-2.
...
Full-Time: Barcelona 4-2 Eibar
...
Real Madrid win their game 2-0, and have won the title.
...
That's his 37th league of the season and what a goal that is. First it was Suarez who was through on goal but was denied by Yoel. The ball is then cleared and Messi finds it near the halfway line, he goes on one of his trademark runs, taking on 5-6 Eibar players, before slotting it past Yoel with his right foot. A sensational goal but it isn't enough to help them win the title.
...
90+2' GOAALL!! MESSI scores again to make it 4-2 after Suarez missed another one-on-one chance!
...
90' 3 minutes of added time!
...
88' Messi bombs forward as he looks to score his second of the night but a good challenge denies him the opportunity to let it go.
...
Barcelona continue to bomb forward as they look to inflict further damage on the away side.
...
Alba is receiving some treatment to his back and the play is stopped. Barcelona did the job that they had to but unfortunately for them, Malaga couldn't do them a favour.
...
83' Messi has the ball in the back of the net but he is offside. He backheeled the ball past Yoel but was offside when the ball was played to him.
...
Barring a late miracle, it all seems to be over for Barcelona.
...
Eibar looked heartbroken here. They blew up a 2-goal lead against Barcelona. And with 10-men there is no way back for the visitors.
...
10 minutes plus added time remaining in both the games. Is there a late twist in store for us?
...
77' Substitution: Galvez comes on to replace Enrich.
...
Barcelona have overturned the deficit but Madrid still lead 2-0. We are set for an exciting finale to the season.
...
Capa brought down Neymar inside the box and the referee had no option but to send him off.
Messi stepped up once again, despite having missed only a couple of minutes ago. He went in the same direction, so did the keeper but he hit it so hard it struck his arms and still went it.
...
GOAALL!!! MESSI scores this time, 3-2!
...
75' Penalty to Barcelona and Capa is shown his second yellow card, and he is off!
...
Neymar swings in a corner, it is headed towards the far post by Paco and Suarez taps it in. Game On?
...
73' GOOAAALLL!!! Luis Suarez scores! 2-2
...
71' Substitution: Ivan Rakitic is replaced by Paco Alcacer as Luis Enrique goes for broke!
...
Messi's penalty has been saved! Can the night get any more dramatic?
The Argentine's low shot strikes Yoel's body and goes over. What a time to miss a penalty but some would say it was Karma as there never was a penalty in the first place.
...
It is all happening here! ALBA WITH A BLATANT DIVE INSIDE THE BOX and the referee has pointed to the spot.
...
69' PENALTY TO BARCELONA!
...
67' Substitution: Pena is replaced by Pedro Leon.
...
67' Neymar has fired wide from 10 yards out. The finishing of the Barcelona players has been below par tonight, a bad day to not have your shooting boots.
...
Barcelona need two more goals tonight but that is not all. They need Malaga to score 3 in the remaining 25 minutes against Real Madrid. Is there a late twist in this title race?
...
Messi has the ball on the edge of the box, he lays it off for Neymar down the left who tries to beat Yoel at the far post, the ball cannons off the upright and strikes Junca before crossing the line. A scrappy goal but Barcelona will not mind it.
...
63' GOOAAALLL!!! Barcelona pull one back! 2-1! Own GOAL!
...
Barcelona look shell-shocked! The Camp Nou is silenced!
...
61' GOOAALLLL!!!! Eibar double their lead! It is that man Inui again, who smashes an incredible strike into the back of the net off the frame of the goal. That the 3rd EVER goal that Eibar have scored against Barcelona in the league and what a night to get it.
...
Paco Alcacer has started warming up on the sidelines.
...
Messi and Suarez couldn't believe what had happened. I couldn't believe what my eyes had just seen!
...
56' How did Messi miss that? Unbelievable scenes.
Suarez is latches on to an excellent through ball through the middle. He is one on one with the goalkeeper but having missed two easy chances in the first half, opts to square it to Messi. The Argentine takes a second too long and under pressure from an Eibar defender, he shoots wide!
...
55' Madrid have just doubled their lead against Malaga!
...
52' Messi has the ball on the edge of the box, he skips past one challenge before passing it to Iniesta, the Spaniard tests the goalkeeper with another shot but once again Yoel is equal to it. They need something special here.
...
50' Neymar drives forward down the left before laying it off for Iniesta on the edge of the box, the Spaniard takes a first-time shot which is saved by Yoel and the rebound is some way off Suarez. Another chance goes begging.
...
49' Barcelona are bombing forward in numbers and Eibar are doing what they did in the first half, almost to perfection, close down Barcelona defenders in the final third.
...
It is still 1-0 to Real Madrid at La Rosadela!
