What a delightful afternoon of football these two teams provided! Thoroughly entertaining and though Belgium have come away with a convincing win, Tunisia showed a lot of fight. They just couldn't keep up with the Belgian attackers, their crowned jewels.

That's that from the yap centre. This is me, Shambhu Ajith, signing off. Hope y'all had a ball.

Naguez motors down the right flank and cuts it back into the area and Khazri side foots it past the despairing dive of Courtois to give the score a bit more respectability.
91' Batshuayi! Gets a delightful ball played into the final third by De Bruyne. He chests it down and could have or should have sent it across to Tielemans who was running clear into the box. Instead he chooses to go all by himself and has the beating of Alouane before taking the shot. Unfortunately, he snatches at it and sends it wide of the far post.
90' 3 minutes added on.

Fellaini traps the ball in the centre of the park, turns around and spreads it on the right side for Tielemans. He plays it in early to the far post and Batshuayi pokes it home to the right bottom corner. Deserved it. He has been plugging away since he was sent on.
88' Fellaini charges into the attacking zones before releasing Meunier on the right side of the box. The PSG wingback cuts it back for Batshuayi but Ben Alouane intercepts it and sends it out for a corner. The subsequent corner is poor and comes to nothing.
86' Batshuayi once again finds himself one-on-one but he is flagged offside.
85' Substitution for Belgium.

Dries Mertens off. Tielemans on.
84' Meuiner's cross into the box is wayward and goes out for a goalkick after he's found in space by Fellaini.
82' Blow the whistle ref. This thing was done and dusted a long time ago.
80' Michy Batshuayi! Misses twice!

It's all De Bruyne once again as he reacts before anyone else to latch on to the ball that spilled into the box following a coming together between Naguez and Carrasco. He charges to the touchline and sends it into the centre of the area where Batshuayi volleys it straight at Mustapha. It falls once again to Bashuayi but the striker is off balance and his shot takes a deflection and goes out for a corner. The corner comes to nothing though.
78' De Bruyne and Batshuayi combine to great effect down the centre and the former ultimately slides it across to Carrasco on the left. He drifts inwards and thwacks it straight at Mustapha. There's too much pace on the ball and Mustapha spills it and it falls for Michy Batshuayi who hits the crossbar from point blank range. OH MICHY!
78' Ben Alouane tries to bung a ball past Boyata for Khazri to chase but it's overhit and ends up resting in Courtois' huge arms.
76' Khaoui will walk out after picking up a knock. But they have used up all their substitutions.
75' Mertens plays a lovely ball through for Batshuayi and the striker rounds up Mustapha and tries to pass it into the net only for it to be cleared on the goalline by Meriah. What a chance! Gotta feel bad for Michy. Did everything right there.
74' De Bruyne plays a lovely threaded ball with the outside of his foot for Batshuayi to chase but Mustapha comes sprinting out of his lines and crashes into the path of the incoming delivery and nudges it away with his chest. Comically heroic that.
73' Mertens is flagged offside as he tries to latch on to a ball which Meunier wins and plays into the final third to release him.
71' Vertonghen and Sliti collided and Vertonghen seems to have a case of the wind getting knocked out of his sail. He is being escorted out of the ground by medics. He seems okay. But there's no reason for Belgium to be taking risks now.
71' Maaloul plays another ball into the box from the left flank but Vertonghen heads it clear before Sliti can connect to it.
69' Fellaini heads Khazri's ball clear and queers his pitch.
69' Tunisia have a freekick on the left flank and Khazri will take it.
67' Carrasco slaloms past the Tunisian midfield and motors ahead and tries to pick out the run of Mertens but his pass is slightly overhit and Mustapha barges into traffic and picks up the ball.
67' Substitution for Belgium.

Eden Hazard off. Michy Batshuayi on.
66' Badri and Khaoui combine well and the former twists away from his marker and unleashes a shot to the far corner but Courtois has it covered and catches it.
65' The corner is cleared but Tunisia keep the ball and Naguez gets a shot away from the edge of the box but it is blocked.
64' Sliti cuts in from the right flank and floats a ball into the area which is cleared for a corner by Boyata.
63' Sunshine and rainbows it is going to be in Moscow as the water starts dropping from the sky with the sun shining in full glow.
61' Carrasco tries to curl one into the top corner from the edge of the area and it is only inches away from the far post as it goes out of play.
60' Maaloul once again passes the ball straight to Hazard. But this time Carrasco, who is played through the centre by Hazard is robbed off the ball and Tunisia breaks on the counter. Ben Youssef serves it into the box, through the ground and Badri can't wrap his boot around it.
59' Substitution for Tunisia.

Sassi off. Sliti on.
58' Substitution for Belgium.

Lukaku on. Fellaini off.
57' Tunisia keep trying and Sassi tries to play Ben Youssef into the area but Alderweireld intervenes to shield the ball out of play.
56' Belgium create yet another chance as Hazard picks out Carrasco on the left side of the D. But Carrasco's cross is deflected out for a corner. The subsequent corner comes to nothing as Carrasco's cross is too heavy and goes out for a goalkick.
54' Skhiri battles to keep the ball in the centre and lays it off to Maaloul on the left flank. But the left-back's cross is too heavy and flies past the Tunisian attackers inside the area. Ben Youssef tries to track it down but he can't stop the ball from rolling over the line for a throw-in.
53' Maaloul plays an early ball into the box and Ben Youssef rises to meet it but gets stuck under the ball and pumps it vertically into the atmosphere and out for a goalkick.

De Bruyne plays an absolute peach of a pass to pick out Hazard beyond the Tunisian centrebacks and the little magician chests it down, knocks it past Mustapha, holds off Ben Alouane and Meriah before slotting it home.
49' Exciting stuff from Croatia. Khaoui and Badri combine in the final third and the former tests Courtois from the edge of the area but the Chelsea goalkeeper is up to the ask.
49' Maaloul storms down the left flank and latches on to a pass from Badri and drives one into the far post which Khaoui barely reaches with his left foot and he can't connect well and it goes out for a goalkick.
48' Malouul and Badri combine to create trouble on the left flank but ultimately Khazri can't make use of the pass he received and another Tunisian attack is scotched.
46' De Bruyne plays it short and receives it back from Meunier but his cross into the box is skied.
46' Belgium have a corner and De Bruyne will take it.
45' Skhiri swings a ball into the box but Boyata heads it clear for a throw-in. Khaoui whips one more in and Khazri tries to flick it past Courtois to no avail.
PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! And we're right back into the thick of things and Tunisia kick off play in the second half.

It's half time at the Spartak Stadium. What an entertaining first half that was.

Belgium 3-1 Tunisia.

One more idiotic error from Maaloul gifts the ball to Belgium and De Bruyne serves a neat pass into the centre for Meunier who dummies and sends the Tunisian defenders the wrong way before freeing Romelu Lukaku inside the area. The big Belgian gets there before Mustapha and dinks it over the Tunisian goalkeeper with his right foot to equal Cristiano Ronaldo on the Golden Boot chart.
47' Belgium break on the counter and Hazard forays into space and slides it across to De Bruyne who squares it for Lukaku who just doesn't get a contact on the ball. Should have given it his all and stretched to reach it.
46' Malooul tries to float an ominous looking diagonal into the path of F. Ben Youssef but Carrasco clears the danger.
45' There will be 4 extra minutes to play.
43' Hazard once again shimmies past a couple of opponents and tries to activate a one-two with the United striker but Lukaku can't return the ball through the legs of Ben Alouane and that attack is foiled.
42' Khazri plays the corner short to Khaoui who tries to whip into the area but it's too close to Courtois and the goalkeeper collects it rather comfortably amidst an array of bodies.
41' Khaoui gets the perfect touch to feather the ball down to get a shot away inside the area after he's played clear but Alderweireld gets in a block and concedes a corner.
40' Centre-back Ben Youssef is being stretchered off after picking up a knee injury.

Substitution for Tunisia.

Ben Youssef off. Ben Alouane on.
39' Ben Youssef brings a ball down with his chest on the edge of the box and tries to volley it home but instead ends up leathering it into the stands where a lucky fan will now take a selfie with it.
38' Hazard once again steals the ball from Maaloul and he rolls it into the path of Mertens who lays it off for Lukaku. Lukaku gives it to De Bruyne on the edge of the area and sets out on a sprint into the area but De Bruyne's pass is not slick enough and Mustapha comes out to gather it before the Belgian striker gets to it.
36' Khazri is being escorted out of the field after picking up a knock following a coming together with Boyata. However, he looks set to return to action.
33' The ball is stolen from Hazard's legs and Badri charges forward and spreads it out to Khazri on the right flank. Khazri twists and turns and then motors to the edge of the area before sliding one into the box for Ben Youssef. Unfortunately, the ball carried too much weight and it ends up rolling out for a goalkick.
29' Naguez threads a ball through to the right wing which is latched onto by Khazri. But the Tunisian captain's delivery is headed straight over the crossbar and out of play.
27' Tunisia keep handing Belgium the ball to the Belgians in the defensive third and Hazard wins the ball and slides it across to Lukaku who backheels it into the path of Witsel who is arriving on the edge of the area. But he can't time his short and sends it probing into orbit.
26' De Bruyne gets a lovely toe-poke in to get the Ben Youssef and slides it into the path of Lukaku. But the striker's first touch leaves a lot to be desired and Mustapha comes out to thwart the danger. Tunisia win a freekick.
25' Naguez tries to rush past Yannick Carrasco down the right flank but he is ushered to the ground to win a throw-in, legally, by the ex- Atletico Madrid man as Belgium scuppers Tunisia's enterprise.
23' Wahib Khazri receives a throw from an attacking position and shimmies into the area and tries to cut it back but he catches it awkwardly and sends it straight into the hands of Thibaut Courtois.
12' Bronn will not play any further part in this game. A change is imminent as Tunisia's goalscorer is taken off in a stretcher.

Substitution for Tunisia.

Bronn off, Naguez on.
21' Tunisia's goalscorer Bronn is in pain. He tried to stop a Carrasco grounded-cross from the left flank and landed awkwardly on his left foot.
20' Alderweireld gallops forward and marches on into the final third and takes on the shot himself but he can't leather it like he would have desired to and the shot whizzes past the far post by quite a fair distance and cops a fistbump with the advertising hoardings.
19' Tunisia have yet another chance but Belgium clear their lines just in time. Belgium break immediately and Belgium dances into the attacking third and plays Mertens on the right flank. The cross is received by Carrasco on the far post and he volleys it but it's kept out by Mustapha. Hazard regains the ball and tries to square it to Lukaku in the centre but his pass is intercepted by an alert Meriah.
17' WHAT IS HAPPENING? BRONN strikes it home from a freekick. Khazri takes a freekick that Belgium conceded on the left flank and Bronn rises above the rest and nods it home, away from the reach of Courtois.

Belgium 2-1 Tunisia.
15' Immense from Hazard and what a stellar finish from Romelu Lukaku.

A terrible mispass from Maaloul is latched on to by Mertens who slides it across to Lukaku who steadies himself and lashes it into the far corner. Flashing past him, low through his left side, Mustapha had no chance.

Belgium 2-0 Tunisia
14' Carrassco cuts in from the left flank and lets one fly but it's a rather tame shot and hits it straight at Mustapha who gobbles it up at his near post.
13' Khazri goes to the ground inside the area as Vertonghen momentarily threw his palm in the face of the Tunisian captain. Nothing doing, says the ref. Belgium play on and Hazard is hacked to the ground from behind by Sassi who protests and gets a yellow card in the process.
12' Khaoui swivels past 2 Belgians but get the ball robbed off his foot. Meunier receives a stray pass and darts past one before feeding Lukaku on the right wing. He whips one into the area straight into Hazard's path but the Chelsea talisman can't get a proper contact and Mustapha collects without a hassle. That chance goes begging.
9' Maaloul Khaoui combine to cuase some disturbance to the Belgian midfield but the final ball from Khazri into the area is a tad overhit. However, Khaoui and Hazard drove their engines straight into each other and are down, concussed like.
7' Khazri tries to release Ben Youssef down the right flank but his ball is off the mark and runs straight into the arms of Thibaut Courtois.
6' Hazard passes it into the left bottom corner leaving Mustapha sinking to his knees, stuck between the sticks. Coolly done. Belgium lead.
5' The contact seemed to have been made on the edge of the area. But its a penalty. Hazard will take it.

Hazard plays a lovely give and go with Mertens and breaks into the area and Ben Yousseff clatters into him. Ref points to the spot.
3' Axel Witsel spreads the play out to the left flank for Carrasco to gather and he wins a throw-in for Belgium in the attacking third. But the Tunisians press hard and force Belgium to play it back.
2' Badri cruising through the left flank gets robbed and Belgium play a ball deep into their attacking half and Romelu Lukaku stirs his stumps and makes mincemeat of his competition Maaloul and wins a throw-in. De Bruyne shifts the ball to Meunier who cuts inside from the right flank and gets a shot away which is on target but is rather comfortable for Mustapha to collect.
1' De Bruyne's ball is characteristically wayward and is hit straight at Ben Mustapha.
0' Belgium have a freekick inside the first 20 seconds as Hazard is fouled, 40 yards away from goal.
PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! And we're off. Lukaku rolls the ball into action. Belgium will be attacking from left to right on the football screen.
The pre-match handshakes and diplomatic customs are being overseen as the players walk out to the Otkrytiye Arena in Moscow. Belgium are donning their yellow kits and Tunisia are in their all-red kit. This is the quintessential 2nd round match of the group stages where one team is battling for survival and the other is battling to cement their superiority.

This promises to be a cracker.

Can the Red Devils cement their place in the knockouts or will Tunisia spring a surprise?

Tunisia were blown away by the attacking impetus shown by the Three Lions for the first half an hour or so and they'll know that Belgium is more than capable of doing the very same. Ben Yousseff, Badri, Sassi, Skhiri and captain Khazri all provided sparks of brilliance but faded without letting any of it count.

For Belgium, Hazard had been immense and has said that he'd love for the Manchester United man Romelu Lukaku to be closer to him so that they can use him in their build-up play. The character that Romelu is, he is likely to oblige. Dries Mertens scored one of the goals of the tournament and master playmaker Kevin De Bruyne seems to be kicking on in the same vein following a triumphant season with Manchester City.

Belgium are favourites on paper but ain't nothing decided on paper, man.

Belgium vs Tunisia: Team News

Vincent Kompany and Thomas Vermaelen remain sidelined. As a result, Dedryck Boyata is expected to start in the centre of the 3 at the back system, flanked by Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.

Martinez has no casualties to deal with in his squad and given that his frontline looks to be in good form, he is likely to keep the same XI in tact.

Mouez Hassen impressed against England before having to be, unfortunately, taken off after dislocating his shoulder. In his absence, Ben Mustapha will be guarding the goal for the Tunisians.

Oussama Haddadi could come in for Ali Maaloul.

Belgium vs Tunisia: Probable lineups

Belgium: Thibaut Courtois; Jan Vertonghen, Dedryck Boyata, Toby Alderweireld; Yannick Carrasco, Axel Witsel, Kevin De Bruyne, Thomas Meunier; Eden Hazard, Dries Mertens, Romelu Lukaku

Tunisia: Ben Mustapha, Meriah, Syam Ben Youssef, Bronn, Maaloul, Skhiri, Badri, Sassi, Fakhreddine Ben Youssef, Khazri, SlitiBelgium vs Tunisia: Form guide

Belgium: W-D-W-W-W

Belgium have been in superb form. When they get going, there's no stopping them. Their only draw in the last 5 games came against Portugal. In all the other matches, they've put at least 3 past their opponents.

Tunisia: L-L-D-D-L

Tunisia's last win came 6 games ago against Costa Rica. They have the talent but can they make it count against the Red Devils?

Belgium vs Tunisia: Head to Head

Belgium vs Tunisia: Key Players

Kevin De Bruyne will undoubtedly be a game changer. Hazard and Lukaku are also in prime form for the Belgians. Beyond them, there's Dries Mertens, Axel Witsel... sigh. You catch my drift?

Wahbi Khazri, Tunisia's no. 10, is perhaps their most important player. He will be the one tasked with dictating terms in attack for the Tunisians
