Kerala Blasters
U. Singh 69'
S. Chhetri 85'
16' S. Stojanović (P)
40' C. Pekuson
Fulltime thoughts- A brilliant show in the second half from Bengaluru FC in the second half with the substitutes Rahul Bheke and Xisco doing what they were called for? The plan to lob crosses toward Sunil Chhetri paid dividends as he set up the first and bulged the back of the net in the second.

Miku is back again. That is good news for Bengaluru FC. Stojanovic's shot that hit the crossbar should have sealed the deal for Kerala Blasters. And, a lot of bad blood traversed down the pitch today. Udanta Singh is adjudged the 'Hero of the Match' as his second half performance put the away side on backfoot.

Bengaluru FC aren't yet mathematically through to the playoffs. However, it is Kerala Blasters who have a lot to worry as they are winless since their opening fixture.

Its finished 2-2 here at Kanteerava. Here is me, Abhishek Kundu, signing off. Do login to Sportskeeda to get the latest ISL and Indian Football news.
94' PEEEEEEP! PEEEEEEEEP! PEEEEEEEP! It's finished 2-2 here at Kanteerava.
94' Chhetri lays it off for Paartalu but his shot is deflected away.
93' It's Paartalu vs. Lakic-Pesic now in what has turned out to be an ugly game.
93' GOOD DEFENDING! Miku goes past two but Kali puts his body to get a goal-kick.
92' Krcmarevic with a timely interception to ensure BFC don't get a free shot on goal.
90' 4 Minutes added on. Will we see a winner?
90' FOUL! Dimas being a naughty boy down there and brings down Sahal
89' Kerala Blasters make their final substitution.

OFF- Seimenlen Doungel
ON- Abdul Hakku
88' PENALTY DENIED? Rakip brings down Chhetri with both of his hands but the referee gives away a goal kick.
85' GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL! Cometh the hour, cometh the man! It's Sunil Chhetri who levels things up for BFC. Harmanjot Singh Khabra with a brilliant backheel towards Udanta who whips in a beautiful curler. Sunil Chhetri connects it and bulges the back of the net.
84' Kerala Blasters have understood BFC's gameplan and they are not creating that much of a chance now.
83' OFFSIDE! Paartalu lobs it toward Sunil Chhetri but the referee raises the flag.
81' Kerala Blasters make their second substitution.

OFF- Kizito Keziron
ON- Nikola Krcmarevic
80' CROSSBAR! Sahal Abdul Samad breaks off on the counter and lays it off for Stojanovic. He beats Gurpreet but his shot rattles the woodwork. What a scare that was for Bengaluru FC!
78' The game is simple from Bengaluru FC. Lob in a cross toward Sunil Chhetri and try to find the back of the net on the second ball. Sometimes. it is Xisco. Sometimes, it is Dimas. And, sometimes soon it will be Miku
77' CHANCE! Harmanjot Singh Khabra with a deep ball toward Sunil Chhetri this time and he lays it toward Xisco. However, his shot is again agonizingly wide.
75' Poplatnik is the only man up front for Kerala Blasters as they are trying to shut the shop.
73' SHOT! A brilliant BFC corner and Dimas heads it toward Xisco. However, the Spaniard's header is inches above the crossbar.
72' Kerala Blasters make their first substitution.

OFF- Courage Pekuson
ON- Cyril Kali
69' GOAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL! And, its 2-1 here at Kanteerava. Paartalu with a lobbed cross towards Sunil Chhetri who heads it towards the penalty spot. The defenders mark Dimas Delgado and Miku but no one traces Udanta's run who comes on like a Flash. He heads the ball into the goal acrobatically to keep the game open.
67' CORNER! Poplatnik goes past two defenders and tries to put Sahal on plate but Juanan's interception ensures Kerala Blasters only have acorner.
64' SHOT! Sunil Chhetri shoots on target after connecting the corner kick and Dheeraj miscollects it again. However, the U-17 World Cupper holds the ball just before it crosses the goal-line.
63' CHANCE! Miku almost scores with his first touch but Jhingan with a last ditch tackle only gives away a corner kick.
62' And now, it's Sahal's turn to go into the book.
62' There is the substitution. Miku is back.

OFF- Serran
ON- Miku
62' CHANCE! Rahul Bheke again whips in a beautiful cross from the right wing and Dheeraj drops the ball. However, Sahal averts the danger momentarily for a momentary BFC corner kick.
60' Miku to come on? We see Cuadrat speaking to Miku on the sidelines and he is nodding. Could this be the gamechanger?
58' Ugly scenes again! It's Jhingan vs. Xisco this time. The Spaniard elbows the Indian center-back but no card from the referee.
57' FOUL! Udanta marauding down the right wing and Pritam brings him down. Is it inside the box? No. just outside the box and the referee hands Pritam Singh a yellow card.
55' SHOT! A flurry of passes in the attacking third ends with Dimas laying it off for Sunil Chhetri. However, Dheeraj is upto the task to deny BFC a goal.
54' Ugly scenes unfolding here at Kanteerava! Dimas Delgado puts his arm over Len Doungel and pushes him away. The referee didn't notice that but Len goes into the book for his retaliation.
51' CHANCE! De ja vu here again. Rahul Bheke again whips in a brilliant cross from the right wing and Sunil Chhetri's header agonizingly sails over the crossbar.
50' CHANCE! A brilliant start from the hosts in the second half here. Udanta showing his trickery down the right wing and gives it to Rahul Bheke in the end. He whips in a brilliant cross for Chhetri but he fails to angle his header.
47' CHANCE! And, Xisco almost scores a goal with his first touch. A brilliant cross from Udanta but the Spaniard heads it inches wide.
46' We are underway here at Kanteerave and Bengaluru FC has made a double change!

OFF- Edmund Lalrindika
OFF- Kean Lewis

ON- Xisco Hernandez
ON- Rahul Bheke
Halftime thoughts- Carles Cuadrat's initial plan of playing Kean Lewis in the right-back has failed miserably. Not blaming Kean for the handball as he was in an unfamiliar positon. Harmanjot Singh Khabra, too, hasn't that been too effective in that place either. Up front, it is visible that Edmund is not yet ready for a spot in the starting lineup. BFC's only attacks have come through Erik Paartalu's lobbing crosses from the center. The home side could muster only a single shot on target which came in the dying embers of the first half from Sunil Chhetri but was comfortable collected by Dheeraj.

Kerala Blasters deserve to go into the tunnel with the scoreline in their favor. Keziron replacing Krcmarevic in the defensive midfielder role is the masterstroke that has halted Bengaluru FC's attacking plans. His tackles and positioning sense has outwitted Bengaluru FC completely. He will have to be careful in the second half as he has gone into the box though. Pritam Singh has also done a wonderful job to contain Udanta. Len Doungel impresses everyone with his trickery down the right wing. And, Sahal Abdul Samad again doing what he does best. Feeding intelligent passes to the wingers and the forwards.
48' PEEEEP! There's the half time whistle. It's Kerala Blasters 2-0 Bengaluru FC.
48' FOUL! Keziron goes into the book for a mistimed sliding tackle on Kean Lewis
45' 3 Minutes added on for Bengaluru FC to get a late goal into the first half.
43' SHOT! Man, Kerala Blasters were inches close to making it 3-0. The away side pounces on the counter and it is 4 vs. 3. Len Doungel and Poplatnik's chemistry allows the latter to go one-on-one with Gurpreet. However, the BFC custodian's long legs ensures Kerala only have a corner kick.
40' GOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLLLL! It's Kerala Blasters 2-0 Bengaluru FC. Sahal Abdul Samad sends Len Doungel through but Nishu Kumar puts his body on the line. The ball is still on Doungel's feet but he lays it off for Pekuson this time. The Ghanian shoots from 30 yards out and the ball rockets into the top right corner.
36' SHOT! Len Doungel with a brilliant cross field pass towards Stojanovic who lays it off for Keziron. His shot from just outside the box was not a million miles away but Gurpreet would be happy that the shot hadn't got in as he didn't cover it.
34' CORNER! Dimas sends Edmund through but Jhingan puts his body in between to give BFC a corner kick.
33' Now, Erik Paartalu goes to the book. The Aussie just pulls down Poplatnik for no reason whatsoever. That's three players in the book now.
32' Fouls from both the sides are halting the gameplay.
29' GOOOOOOAAAAAAAA- OFFSIDE! Erik Paartalu with his brilliant vision spots Chhetri's run and the Padma Shri awardee passes it towards Edmund. The 19-year-old bulges the back of the net but the referee raises his flag for Chhetri's earlier run.
27' FOUL! Poplatnik with a clumsy foul on Serran and BFC players are clamoring for a yellow card. The referee doesn't give it but the crowd chants "Send him off."
26' Khabra has moved into the right back position as the away side was exploiting the space down there.
25' Serran gets a yellow card for a cheap foul on Seimenlen Doungel
24' CORNER! Bengaluru FC have a corner now. Erik Paartalu lobs in a cross and Pritam takes no chance and clears the ball out for a corner.
21' FREE KICK! A clumsy challenge from Edmund Lalrindika on Sahal gives the Blasters a free kick on a dangerous position.
19' CORNER! Len Doungel again manages to win a corner with his trickery down the Kerala Blasters left wing.
16' GOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLL! It's 1-0 to Kerala Blasters in the Kanteerava. Stojanovic sends the goalkeeper the wrong way and slots it in his bottom right corner.
14' PENALTY TO KERALA BLASTERS! Kean Lewis handles the ball after failing to control Rakip's cross and the referee points towards the dreaded spot.
12' TACKLE! Udanta Singh lodges in a brilliant sliding tackle to steal the ball from Stojanovic's legs.
10' FOUL! Harmanjot Singh Khabra pokes Kiziron's eyes. No cards shown.
6' CHANCE! Doungel trying to do a one-two with Sahal Abdul Samad but the latter's touch is a tad heavy and it goes out for a Bengaluru FC goal-kick.
3' SHOT! Kean Lewis' inexperience in the right back position is getting exploited here. Seimenlen Doungel doing a wonderful job to cut through and lob in a cross. Kean Lewis completely fails to mark Stojanovic and he has a free shot but it is off target.
2' SURPRISE! Kean Lewis is playing as a right back and Nishu Kumar is the left back for today. They are playing 4-3-3 against Kerala Blasters.
1' KICKOFF... Bengaluru FC gets the ball rolling!
National Anthem? Check. Hands Shaken? Check. Playing Eleven exchanged? Check. It's Kickoff time!
The teams are out of the tunnel. It's National Anthem time here at Kanteerava in Bengaluru.
Kerala Blasters, on the other hand, will go with a 4-3-3 formation. Mohamad Rakip and Pritam Singh will guard the wings whereas Sandesh Jhingan and Nemanja Lakic-Pesic will invigilate the center. Courage Pekuson, Keziron Kizito, and Sahal Abdul Samad will play in the middle of the park whereas Seimenlen Doungel, Matej Poplatnik, and Slavisa Stojanovic will be the three men up front.
Bengaluru FC are expected to line-up in a 4-4-1-1 formation. Nishu Kumar, Juanan, Albert Serran, and Harmanjot Singh Khabra will complete the back four and Dimas Delgado and Erik Paartalu will play the double pivot. Kean Lewis and Udanta Singh will maraud down the left and right wing whereas Sunil Chhetri will exploit the hole and double up as a support striker. 19-year-old Edmund Lalrindika will be the man up front tasked to score the goals.
Kerala Blasters, on the other hand, have made three changes to the side that lost 2-0 to Delhi Dynamos. Lalruatthara got himself a red card in that match. As a result of which, he sits out alongside Cyril Kali and Prasanth K in the bench. Mohamad Rakip, Pritam Singh, and Courage Pekuson find their names in the starting line-up.
Bengaluru FC have made two changes to the side that beat Northeast United FC 2-1. Rino Anto and Rahul Bheke have been benched for Edmund Lalrindika and Nishu Kumar. Venezuela' Miku is fit but not raring to go as he finds himself in the bench.
Bengaluru FC Playing XI: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Juanan, Albert Serran, Nishu Kumar, Harmanjot Singh Khabra, Dimas Delgado, Udanta Singh, Kean Lewis, Erik Paartalu, Sunil Chhetri, Edmund Lalrindika

Substitutes: Soram Poirei, Rahul Bheke, Rino Anto, Sairuat Kima, Boithang Haokip, Xisco Hernandez, Miku

Kerala Blasters Playing XI: Dheeraj Singh, Mohamad Rakip, Sandesh Jhingan, Nemanja Lakic-Pesic, Pritam Singh, Keziron Kizito, Sahal Abdul Samad, Seiminlen Doungel, Courage Pekuson, Slavisa Stojanovic, Matej Poplatnik

Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Sportskeeda's live commentary of the ISL match between Bengaluru FC and Kerala Blasters. This is Abhishek Kundu and, I will keep your company. The lineups should be out in any moment.
Bengaluru FC coach Carles Cuadrat, on the other hand, is very proud on the performance of his boys. Here is what he said at the pre-match press conference:

"One of the reasons I am coaching the team is because they are competitive. It is a present for a coach to have a team which is so competitive. In training, we have a lot of discussion to calm them down. It is nice because you don’t have to forget it. We are working to become the champions. If you see the table, we have won nine games, which means something."
Head to head.

In the short history of this match, Bengaluru FC have won all three times against Kerala Blasters. They have scored 7 goals and conceded just 2.
Kerala Blasters' 13-game winless streak is the longest ever run without a victory in the ISL. After the opening day 2-0 victory over ATK, Kerala have recorded seven draws and six defeats. Will tonight end in another defeat for KBFC in the Bengaluru FC vs Kerala Blasters Live ISL match?
A victory tonight will see Bengaluru FC secure a spot in the playoffs with 4 games to spare. BFC had ensured their semifinal spot with 3 games to spare last season. Can they seal their progress into the semifinals tonight in the Bengaluru FC vs Kerala Blasters Live ISL game?
Kerala Blasters coach Nelo Vingada admitted the fact that his team was lacklustre in their encounter against Delhi Dynamos. However, he believed that they performed comparatively well against ATK. Here is what he said:

"The most important thing now is to recover the confidence. The performance against ATK was good. The second game against Delhi looked like we went two steps back. We need to recover the positive attitude and try to enjoy the game and fight. We need to find the best balance because in the second game our balance was not so good."
Kerala Blasters create the second-most number of chances in the ISL after FC Goa, but have a poor conversion rate. They have just scored 13 goals from the 139 chances they have created. This means that Blasters need at least 10 chances to score one goal.
A big reason for Sunil Chhetri not finding the back is because there was no No 9 in the team. Now that Miku has returned, Chhetri's burden will reduce and the captain will be able to play with more freedom.
Miku had not played since the reverse leg of this fixture in Kochi in November 2018.
Can Chhetri shrug off his poor form in the Bengaluru FC v Kerala Blasters Live ISL game tonight?
Sunil Chhetri has not scored a goal in seven matches, the longest barren streak in the league stage for the player. In the 2015 season, he had not scored in six consecutive games during his time with Mumbai City FC. He's still the top Indian goalscorer in the ISL.
Kerala Blasters have conceded the most number of goals away from home - 13. FC Pune City and Chennaiyin FC are second worst with 11 goals conceded. Could that change in tonight's Bengaluru FC vs Kerala Blasters Live ISL game?
Bengaluru FC have the best shots to goal ratio in the first half of their games, scoring a goal every 8 attempts. Kerala Blasters, on the other hand, have the worst attempts to goal ratio - they need 29 attempts to score one goal in the first half.
Kerala Blasters have conceded the most goals from open play at 16 out of the 23 they have let in. Bengaluru FC score most of their goals from open play - they have notched 14 goals from open play out of the 20 they have scored.
Bengaluru FC are most dangerous in the last 15 minutes of each half. In the last 15 minutes of the first half, they have scored 7 goals. In the last minutes of the game, they have struck 6 goals. Kerala Blasters have conceded 9 of their 23 goals in the last 15 minutes. What can happen tonight in the Bengaluru FC vs Kerala Blasters Live ISL game?
Probable Line-ups:
Bengaluru FC Probable XI: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (GK), Rino Anto, Juanan, Albert Serran, Rahul Bheke, Erik Paartalu, Dimas Delgado, Udanta Singh, Harmanjot Khabra, Kean Lewis, Sunil Chhetri (C)

Kerala Blasters Probable XI: Dheeraj Singh (GK), Cyril Kali, Nemanja Lakic-Pesic, Sandesh Jhingan (C), Mohamad Rakip, Nikola Krcmarevic, Sahal Abdul Samad, Slavisa Stojanvoic, Seiminlen Doungel, Prashant K, Matej Poplatik
Bengaluru FC vs Kerala Blasters preview:

Two clubs with the most passionate supporters will slog it out on the pitch to give their fans a lot to cheer about.

There's nothing in it for the teams in the Bengaluru FC vs Kerala Blasters Live ISL match. A win would seal Bengaluru FC's spot in the Indian Super League (ISL) playoffs, while Blasters are anyway not in the contention.

Securing their progress to the ISL semifinals against Kerala Blasters would be a wonderful gift from Bengaluru FC to their fan group West Block Blues. On the other hand, a win for Kerala Blasters' coach Nelo Vingada will make him a favourite of the Manjappada, the Blasters' Fan Army.

Blasters have a new coach, but Bengaluru FC have a new player in Luisma Villa - Chencho Gyeltshen's replacement - and he could make his debut on Wednesday.

Miku has not featured in any ISL game since Bengaluru FC's 3-1 win over Blasters in Kochi back in November. He could return to the bench this time around with Edmund Lalrindika possibly handed his first ISL start.

Bengaluru FC have walked away with the win on all three occasions that these sides have met. Blasters have only one win in 14 games, like Chennaiyin FC, but have seven draws which has helped in separating them from the bottom-placed CFC.

Kerala have not really looked impressive in the two games they have played under Vingada. They split points with ATK on January 25 and then lost 2-0 to Delhi Dynamos on January 31.

Full-back Lalruatthara saw red in that game and will miss this crunch fixture against BFC. This could provide Mohammed Rakip a chance, while the rest of the squad will mostly be the same.

Bengaluru FC have moved on from that 1-0 loss to Mumbai City FC, which ended their 11-game streak. They recovered to beat NorthEast United 2-1 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium and a similar scoreline can be expected from them on Wednesday.
