FULL TIME!!!
BENGALURU FC 1-1 MUMBAI CITY FC

What a game this has been. Bengaluru FC surely got a taste of their own medicine. Two relentless teams who refused to give up, and rightly so the points have been shared at the end of the tie. The unbeaten streaks continue too. Bengaluru take their run to 10 while Mumbai, who are yet to taste defeat in seven games, will return to the city of dream happy with a well earned point from the garden city.
That's all from me Naveen, visit Sportskeeda.com for more news and update from the Indian Super League and much more.
90+1 FRESH LEGS FOR MUMBAI

ON: Milan Singh
OFF: Rafael Bastos

Btw, 5 more minutes added on at the end of 90.
87' Bastos with an yellow to his name

A desperate foul by Rafael Bastos as he goes sliding in on Xisco Hernandez.
85' SOUGOU GETS AN YELLOW

As if the off sides weren't enough, the Mumbai striker gets a yellow to his name for an unnecessary challenge on Dimas.
And with that we have had 10 yellow cards flashed tonight. Cold Play will definitely be happy with that, "Yeah they were all yellow"
84' CUADRAT TIME!!!

Like the famous 'Fergie time', we're entering 'Cuadrat time' now. The Bengaluru head coach is asking the West Block Blues to raise their decibel levels at the Kanteerava. Can they change the tide in their favour?
81' MACHADO CONCEDES A FREE-KICK

The Mumbai main man brings Dimas down just in front of his penalty area. The free-kick, from a dangerous position is right into the arms of Amrinder. You expect better from Chhetri.
79' Hey Amrinder, ambidextrous eh?

The Mumbai skipper is taking his goal kicks with his left foot after getting his right taped in the opening half. Ambidextrous, much.
75' BENGALURU PULL KHABRA OUT

ON: Kean Lewis
OFF: Harmanjot Khabra
74' MEN AT WAR

Mumbai playing like mad, mad men here. Throwing bodies in the line of fire to keep Bengaluru from scoring. First, Sauvik blocks a Bheke effort, while Amrinder is alert to keep Xisco from finding the back of the net.
73' BORN OFF????

Sougou caught off side, yet again!!!! Seven if we are getting our count right. What is this man thinking?
70' SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT FOR SEHNAJ?

It's not Sehnaj's first red card at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium. Back in November 2015 while playing for the Indian team, Sehnaj was shown a straight red for clamping Justin Lee of Guam on the foot during a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier. Unlucky place, perhaps?
That's from our man, Aravind, at the Kanteerava.
65' SOUGOU GOES WIDE!!!

Bastos does well to cross the ball as Serran looks very uncomfortable defending him. Sougou's first time header is close but still misses. He'll be the most disappointed if Mumbai are to lose tonight.
64' MUMBAI NEEDS TO BE BETTER

Reynier Fernandez gives away the ball once again, and Bheke is first to it. But his hopeful cross results to nothing.
61' YELLOW FOR BHEKE

Sougou with a determined run into the Bengaluru area and Bheke was always playing the catching up role. Throws in a hopeful tackle, but gets nothing but a foul from that.
59' KHABRA GOES INTO THE BOOKS

That was coming, wasn't it. It's like this man can't be content without being booked every time he plays a game. A yellow for no good reason. Fourth booking of the season for the Bengaluru man, he will miss their next game against ATK.
58' SECOND CHANGE FOR BENGALURU FC

OFF: Nishu Kumar
ON: Semboi Haokip
53' FORCED CHANGE

Mumbai look to consolidate after going a man down. The attackers seemed to have dropped deeper to help contain the Bengaluru attack.
51' SEHNAJ GETS THE MARCHING ORDER

The Mumbai man with a careless challenge on Dimas and R Venkatesh, the referee, has no hesitation in flashing a second yellow for the midfielder. Mumbai in deep, deep trouble?
48' CHHETRIIIII, NOT YET

The Bengaluru skipper tries his luck from a distance. But Amrinder is up to the mark. Throws himself to his right to keep the effort out. The ball was curling away, making it much more difficult than what it seemed.
46' FOOT ON THE PEDAL

Mumbai look to continue from where they left off. Sougou finds himself in the Bengaluru penalty box with the ball at his feet right way. However, can't trouble Gurpreet much. Another chance goes begging.
46' FIRST CHANGE FOR BENGALURU FC

ON: Xisco Fernandez
OFF: Chencho Gyeltshen
HALF TIME
BENGALURU FC 1-1 MUMBAI CITY FC

Bengaluru look to end on high. Chhetri is set up inside the Mumbai area, but the skipper can only manage a save from Amrinder. The resulting corner too yields nothing much.
Stay right there, we have a cracker of a 45 coming up soon.
45' THEY COME AGAIN!!!

A fine ball from Amrinder sets Sougou on a run with his marker chasing him down. The striker does well to force ahead and get inside the Bengaluru box, but runs out of gas to get a shot at target. His toe-poke pushes the ball outside the playing area.
2 minutes added at the end of 45.
40' BENGALURU GETTING A TASTE OF THEIR OWN MEDICINE?

Mumbai stitching together  a string of fine passes to get close to the Benagluru goal. The hosts have no idea what's caught them. Only if Machado could come up with a better finish than that.
38' SOME LIVE UPDATES

"A fight has broken down at the stands after that equaliser by Sougou. The travelling Mumbai City FC fans provoked a bunch of the home supporters but police personnel immediately come down and escort the trouble-makers out. Other members of the West Coast Brigade are assuring the stewards that they will behave," says Aravind at Kanteerava.
36' Bastos gets Gurpeet to work

Mumbai come calling again. Issoko with another beauty of cross from the right. This time it's Bastos who rises high to meet the ball and power down a header. But Gurpreet is up to the task, and parries it away. How on earth was the Brazilian left free inside the box. Nishu has a lot of answering to do.
31' WHO ELSE, BUT SOUGOU!!!!

Their highest scorer for the season, Modou Sougou gets Mumbai back into the game. The Senegalese does well to go low and nod in a Issoko cross into the Bengaluru goal. The centre-backs look at the assistant for an off-side call, but the flag is not going up any time soon. Could Gurpreet have done better to get an hand to that?
27' ASIA CALLING

Trust us, Udanta getting those goals for Bengaluru bodes well not only for his club, but also for the Indian team preparing for the all important AFC Asian Cup in less than a month's time.
23' BENGALURU SCOREEEEEEEEE

How good have these guys been this season. Bheke does well to charge ahead and whip in a well-weighed cross into the Mumbai penalty area. And guess who's meets it with a fine header, UDANTA SINGH!!!!
The youngster rises high to beat Goian in the air and directs the ball into the goal for the opener.
19' How quick was that turnover?

A fine counter initiated by Chencho as he turns, accelerates and finds Udanta. The winger, however, loses the ball and the threat is quelled.
17' END TO END FOR KHABRA

After failing to win a foul at the edge of the Mumbai penalty area, Khabra concedes one few yards from his goal for his foul on Issoko. But fortunately for him, Bastos blasts the resulting free-kick over Gurpreet's goal.
15' What was Khabra expecting?

Udanta threads one through the centre for an onrushing Khabra. Sauvik with a well-timed tackle, but the former East Bengal man tries to extract a foul. Referee doesn't budge, instead books the Bengaluru man for simulation.
10' First booking of the evening

Sehnaj goes into the books for a foul on Udanta. Fourth yellow for the Mumbai man and he will miss their next game against Kerala Blasters.
6' OFF TARGET

Chencho drives ahead. Fed in by Chhetri, the Bhutanese rush ahead towards the ball. It's a little acute, and Amrinder does well to close down the angle. The shot goes across the face of the Mumbai goal.
4' 'OFF' Guard

Mumbai's Modou Sougou running off-side in these early minutes. Second time to be precise in four minutes. The Senegalese need to time to those run better.
Feeling the 'Blues'?

More from Aravind here.
Making their presence felt is a small group of The Mumbai City FC fan army, West Coast Brigade. They are trying to get their voices heard but are clearly outnumbered by the home fans, West Block Blues.
KICK-OFF

And we're underway at the Kanteerava.
LET'S GET STARTED

Teams out on to the pitch ✅
National Anthem done ✅
Handshakes done ✅
Pleasantries exchanged ✅
Toss done ✅

It's time to get the ball rolling.
HONORARY INDIAN?

"Don't miss Lucian Goian singing the Indian national anthem," Aravind says.
IT'S ALMOST TIME

Time to end all the build-up. Kick-off is next.. Stay tuned...
MAN ON A MISSION!!!

"I was fully aware of what I was getting into when I signed for Bengaluru FC. You sit in the dressing room and look around and think every player is better than the other. It can be intimidating. But I told myself that I was starting from scratch. Whatever little I had achieved before this, I kept aside. And when you start from nothing, it's always going to be tough," Chencho told the Blueprint, Bengaluru FC's match-day programme.
LIVE FROM KANTEERAVA

"The West Block Blues are still pouring into the West Block A stand. The ones who are here already are chanting for Mumbai City's Subhasish Bose, a former Bengaluru FC defender. Loyalty counts I guess. They seem to have forgotten Amrinder Singh though. Nevermind," says Aravind from the Fortress.
REWARD TIME!!!

Chencho is back into the Bengaluru line-up for the game. And after that stunning goal against NorthEast, one can't argue against that. Meanwhile, Jorge Costa has gone with the same guys who got the job done for them against the champions a few days back. No changes there.

Beautiful, isn't it?

A game of reunions

Bengaluru FC vs Mumbai City FC is also a game that will see a number of guys turn up against their previous sides. Former Mumbai men Udanta and Chhetri will be up against former Bengaluru boys Amrinder and Subhasish.
Super Star in the making

In the absences of Miku, Bhutanese Chencho Gyeltshen has stepped up to deliver the goods for Bengaluru FC. In their last home game, Chencho had five shots on target while he ended up scoring a spectacular goal against NorthEast United in their previous game to help Bengaluru FC maintain their unbeaten run this season.
Here's a little about he visitors at the Kanteerava today

Mumbai City might not have had the best of the starts to their campaign in ISL 5, the Jorge Costa-side has put up a fine show in their past six games, slowly but steadily stitching a string of results that see them occupy the second spot on the points table, only behind — you guessed it right — Bengaluru FC.
Beat boxing!!!

Sunday's match is a battle between two teams in great form.
While hosts Bengaluru FC are unbeaten in the league in nine games, Mumbai City have not lost in six.
Who will reign supreme tonight?
Probable XI:

Bengaluru FC v Mumbai City FC preview:

Two of the most exciting teams in the Indian Super League (ISL) meet for the first time this season as Bengaluru FC play host to Mumbai City FC at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium later this evening.

Bengaluru are the table-toppers with 23 points in nine games. Mumbai City are placed third on the table and are three points behind BFC, having played a game more.

Second-placed NorthEast are also on 20 points but have played 11 games. A win or a draw will help Mumbai climb up the table and occupy the second spot.

Given the form that they are in, that's achievable for the Islanders but Bengaluru are no pushovers.

While Bengaluru are unbeaten in this campaign and have only two draws in those nine games, Mumbai have not lost after that 0-5 mauling at the hands of FC Goa, going back six games.

Jorge Costa's boys have really turned the season around after a poor start and have maintained five clean sheets in the last six games.

Lucian Goian, centre defender of Mumbai City, has been instrumental in helping his side maintain a strong wall that opposition teams have struggled to breach.

Arnold Issoko, Paulo Machado and Modou Sougou combine well together to score on the counter as well as poach goals from inside the box for Mumbai.

But Bengaluru have conceded the least number of goals - seven - in this campaign. Juanan and Albert Serran won't make it easy for Machado & Co.

Up front, even though Sunil Chhetri has been unable to find the net in the last 3 games for BFC, others like Udanta Singh and Chencho Gyeltshen have stepped up.

With Miku out for a few more games for BFC, the Bhutanese forward Chencho might get the nod given his crucial equaliser against NEUFC in the previous match.

BFC are also known to eke out levellers or the winners in the last few minutes and they are a pretty ferocious team in 'Cuadrat Time'.

Let's see what's in store this evening.

When and where to watch: Live Streaming on Hotstar and Jio TV. The Bengaluru FC vs Mumbai City FC game will be telecast live on Star Sports Network from 7.30 pm IST.
