FT: What an ending to the game. That was a brilliant comeback by Mumbai City, who have absolutely done nothing till that part of the game.
What a goal by Leo Costa, he let fly from 30 yards right into the top corner. The ball hits the bar and gets into the goal. Uffff what a goal.
84' Ooooo. That was close from Augusto, he lets fly from 40 yards, the ball loops over the goalkeeper, but just over the bar.
80' Forlan with a brilliant brilliant free kick. But Kerr had appeared to have it covered. That seems to be their best opportunity of scoring.
77' Jackichand tries to cross the ball from the right, but he hits the first defender. He hasn't done a lot after coming on, has he? This is definitely his chance to start games.
75' A tactical switch by Mumbai City FC, Sony Norde is dropping in behind Forlan now.
72' A lovely turn by Augusto, but he gets fouled. Chennaiyin are still doing the bulk of the playing.
70' What lovely play by Jayesh Rane, but Dudu fails to chip the goalkeeper.
69' Mendy went for a shot from a freekick from the other side of moon. He really believes in himself.
65' Chennaiyin have kept the ball brilliantly, and had the better of the chances. Mumbai need to get their mojo back.
61' Vadocz with a lovely ball down the line, but Peluso makes a meal out of it.
On a different note, there NEEDS to be water breaks. Especially with the weather in Chennai.
56' What an effort by Ralte. He brings down the ball, and goes for a dipper. That almost went in, Mumbai are looking much much better.
52' Lovely freekick from Forlan, who curls it to the back post. Well defended by Mendy, who got a whack for his troubles.
A simple corner into the box, and probably the best shortest player in the box rises up to head in. Terrible, terrible defending from Mumbai City.
46' Lovely play from Forlan, who picks up the ball in the center circle, turns a couple of players, and passes to Cafu, but he loses the ball.
45' We are back for the second half, and it is already better. The managers might have got amongst players at half time.
HT: To be honest, the game has been what they call a snooze fest. It has been highly tactical, both teams have canceled out each other. Probably their best players have not gone into the game, Augusto and Forlan have both dropped deep, and haven't been able to affect the gameplay.
On a positive note, Siam Hanghal has been good. So has been Jeje, who has been making good runs, but hasn't had the service he needs.
42' Finally Augusto with something of note, he reverses a chip to Jeje, he tries to shoot directly but the ball goes behind for a goal-kick.
38' Forlan has been dropping deeper and deeper, he seems to be getting frustrated. There isn't a lot of movement ahead of him.
35' Forlan picks up the ball in space and goes for a piledriver. The ball goes over the bar, had Kerr worried for a second there.
33' Lovely play from Siam again, he switches it to the left onto the chest of Peluso, who plays a one-two to Jeje, but his curler is disappointingly wide.
30' Wild from Peluso, he comes inside from the left and tries to cross it with the outside of his foot. It goes behind for a goal-kick, very disappointing.
28' Siam Hanghal has been the best player for Chennaiyin, he has been getting the better players into the game.
26' Peluso has been bright, he starts wide, and cuts in, but Khongjee clears it off.
18' A cheap freekick given to Chennaiyin, Peluso with the shot, but pushed away by Gomes. One for the cameras there, he didn't need to dive that way, maybe should have caught it instead.
16' Jeje gets in between to center halfs, but Peluso's through ball has just a bit too much on it. But, the Indian National team striker has started the game brightly.
14' That was the first proper chance in the game, Jeje with a chance to shoot, but Vadocz comes from his blind side and wins the ball back. Lovely defending from the Hungarian.
11' That was the first time Forlan got the ball between the lines, he tries to chip it to Norde with the inside of his feet. The ball gets cleared, but only to Cafu, who sends it back in, but that too is cleared away.
10' Lovely hold up pay by Sony Norde, but he seems to have just gone off.
8' The game has started in a slow-ish tempo, with neither team imposing themselves so far this season. Mumbai though have to try and get Gerson and Vadocz on the ball.
5' A lovely through ball by Gerson to Ralte, who overhits his cross. Just beyond Forlan and Norde.
4' Alvino and Goian have a breakdown in communication, but no real problem, as the centerback clears it to touch.
2' Good build-up play by Hanghal who intercepts and comes out with the ball, plays it to the feet of Jeje, who plays it wide to Thoi, but he fouls Ralte.
0' And we are on our way, Chennaiyin in Blue and Mumbai City FC in white.
The pre-game formalities are done. It's finally time for the football to do the talking. Let's Football.
The players have lined up in the tunnel now, Mendy and Forlan lead their team out to the Marina Arena.
Speaking of Materazzi, he has been slapped with a one-match ban, so he will be nowhere near the touchline today. To know more read here.
