The celebrations are set to begin here in the England camp as Spain field their commiseration messages after what was a terrific final. We have a new FIFA U17 World Cup champions here today and seven goals in the final is another record for the U17 World Cup. This generation of English players have shown how special they are and this World Cup win will long be remembered, not only for the manner of the win but also because it could signal a shift in European football's power base in the next few years.

That's all from us here. I hope you enjoyed our coverage as much as we enjoyed doing it. Until next time, goodbye!
...
Full-time: England 5-2 Spain

England are the FIFA U17 World Cup CHAMPIONS!
...
90+4' The result is now beyond any doubt as England have a three-goal lead after going two goals down. What a turnaround we have witnessed today at the Salt Lake Stadium.
...
90+2' We are into stoppage time here but a few scuffles are breaking out here. Brewster gets a booking but England wouldn't mind that much as long as the clock ticks down to the 94th minute.
...
90+1' 4 minutes of stoppage time displayed by the fourth official.
...
90' Gomes ON Oakley-Boothe OFF

England make their final change and the designated team captain is on the pitch. Gomes won't have much to do apart from lifting the trophy now.
...
88' All it took was a direct ball to Foden who calmly slots the ball underneath the desperate Alvaro to net his second and England's fifth of the game. What an absolutely remarkable comeback this has been!
...
88' GOOOOOOAAAALLLLLL ENGLAND YET AGAIN!

...
87' McEachren OFF Gallagher ON

England make another change as we head into the final few minutes of the final.
...
84' GOOOOOOAAAAALLLL ENGLAND!

Hudson-Odoi with the resulting set-piece finds the head of Brewster who nods it down to Panzo but it is Guehi who knocks the ball home as Spain's defence goes missing. England have all but finished Spain off here.
...
83' Hudson-Odoi gets on his bike after a brilliant first touch but Mateu Jaume brings him down as the Chelsea man was clear through on goal. The referee books the Spain right-back but that should've merited a stringer punishment.
...
81' Beitia ON Blanco OFF (Spain)

Kirby ON Gibbs White OFF (England)
...
80' Ruiz with some tenacity as he takes the help of lucky ricochets before smashing a shot which is high and wide. The captain has had a frustrating evening so far.
...
79' Mateu Jaume makes an underlapping run this time and runs straight at the England defence before letting loose. His effort is dragged wide of the target and Anderson can breathe easy.
...
What an effort this has been from the Young Lions. To come back from two goals down in a World Cup final is a feat not many teams have achieved and that says a lot about the mental fortitude of these teenagers.
...
76' England, who have played most of their FIFA U17 World Cup games in Kolkata, are showing more energy and desire here despite being in the lead. We head to the cooling break as the official attendance marks another full-house final.
...
75' Foden with another shot after a corner move for England but his effort is straight at Alvaro.
...
74' Spain nearly score from the corner as Anderson flaps and Ruiz's cross into the area is met by Chust whose header is cleared off the line by Sessegnon. This game is far from over as we head into the final quarter hour.
...
73' Foden escapes a rather clumsy control as Miranda picks his pocket before smashing one but his effort is blocked away.
...
71' Gelabert OFF Lara ON

Spain make their first change as striker Jose Lara replaces the fading playmaker Gelabert.
...
70' Hudson-Odoi with the cross from the left and Foden only had to tap it in beyond the diving Alvaro. England complete what has been an epic comeback and Foden gets his just deserts by registering a goal.
...
70' GOOOOOOOAAAAAALLLL ENGLAND!

The comeback is complete.
...
67' Spain are suddenly looking out of ideas as Ferran Torres runs into a cul-de-sac before Panzo deals with the danger along the right touchline
...
65' Hudson-Odoi cutting inside before shooting has become a common sight in this match and the Chelsea attacker gets another one away here but the effort is straight at Alvaro.
...
64' Spain on the attack here as Moha threads a through ball to Gomez, who cuts inside before crossing but Panzo nods the ball away as Ruiz was lurking behind for a tap in.
...
62' England nearly score another and this time it is Foden with the effort after meeting a difficult ball from the opposite flank from Hudson-Odoi. Alvaro is called into action and he duly makes the save.
...
60' As expected, Spain go on the attack immediately after conceding and Gomez's corner finds the head of Miranda whose effort is somehow saved by Anderson.
...
58' Gibbs White with the equaliser but it was all Foden who threaded the important defence-splitting pass to Sessegnon to leave the entire defence stranded. The Fulham man's low cross is tapped into the roof of the net by Gibbs White as Fernandez and Spain had no chance there. What a comeback it has been for England!
...
58' GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLL ENGLAND!
...
55' Spain are being pinned inside their own half by the high pressing England here as they struggle to break the central lines. England, however, need more effort on the ball now that they have covered the Spaniards off the ball well.
...
53' Hudson-Odoi with an inviting delivery from a corner which almost had Alvaro Fernandez in danger but Spain clear the danger. England push on in the second half but their need for an equaliser is almost getting into desperate territory here.
...
52' Foden cuts inside with a couple of stepovers and gets a shot away but Guillamon deflects his effort just wide of goal.
...
50' Oakley-Boothe finds Gibbs White clear here after a lofted ball bypasses Spain's central area. The forward's left-footed effort flies well over the bar.
...
49' Spain almost gift England an opening by losing the ball inside their own half but Brewster can't control the ball inside the Spain box and La Roja clear.
...
47' Spain with an early corner but Gelabert's wicked delivery somehow doesn't go into the net.
...
46' We are underway in the 2nd half!
...
Half-time: Spain 2-1 England

Attempts: Spain 4-15 England
Attempts on target: Spain 4-4 England
Possession: Spain 41-59 England
Fouls: Spain 7-2 England
...
HT: Brewster nearly scores from the freekick but Alvaro Fernandez gets his fingertips to the effort to push it over the bar. That was the last action of what has been an enthralling half of football as Spain lead England 2-1. The 2nd half starts in 15 minutes.
...
45+2' We are almost at the end of the first half as England push for an equaliser. Some lovely needle play in the danger zone between Foden and McEachren earns the Young Lions are freekick from a dangerous position. Brewster is over the ball.
...
44' Right at the stroke of half-time, England pull one back as Sessegnon's peach of a cross from the right is tucked in by the Liverpool man.
