GOA vs DEL Match Result - ISL 2018-19
Goa
3 - 2
FT
Delhi Dynamos
Edu Bedia 54'
B. Fernandes 82'
Edu Bedia 89'
6' Bikramjit Singh
70' L. Chhangte
PHEW! That was a cracker of a contest like we predicted.
Delhi Dynamos took the lead twice in the game - first through Bikramjit Singh's scorcher in the sixth minute and then through Lallianzuala Chhangte in the second half.
FC Goa came determined into the second half and find the back of the net thrice to take the three points from the game. First, it was Edu Bedia's poke, then super-sub Brandon Fernandes' stunner and finally a glancing header by Bedia which clinches the game for the hosts.
Sergio Lobera will be happy with the three points, while Josep Gombau will be left to rue the countless misses by his forwards Chhangte and Daniel Lalhlimpuia.
That's it from me, Aravind Suchindran. Log into www.sportskeeda.com for our full coverage. See ya!
90+6' Goa take their own sweet time to get the set-piece going. The seconds tick down and Delhi have only themselves to blame for not converting their chances. Goa have really given it their all in the second half and deservedly take the three points. The referee plays some extra seconds but after all that, it's --
PEEEEP! PEEEEEEEEEEEP! PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
90+2' Gombau makes a final change, hoping his team can find an equaliser.
OFF - Gianni Zuiverloon (51)
ON - Andrija Kaludjerovic (99)
Four minutes added.
90' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! And we have a possible winner here.
Boumous floats a free-kick into the centre of the box and Edu Bedia shifts his run to get a backward glance into the top-left corner. Dorronsoro leaps but can't prevent it from going in.
What a comeback by Goa here.
Uh-oh! Replays show that Bedia is slightly offside before the free-kick is played in. But the goal will stand.
89' Mandar, who provided two assists but has been pathetic defensively, is replaced by a defender.
OFF - Mandar Rao Dessai (7)
ON - Nirmal Chettri (3)
88' Dorronsoro with a desperate save.
The goalkeeper tries to reach the ball before Hugo Boumous but the Moroccan flies to chip it over the goalkeeper.
Dorronsoro somehow manages to get a block it and it's cleared away by Marti Crespi.
87' Chhangte with another miss.
Mandar fails to follow the winger again and the scorer of Delhi's second goal is given all the space he wants to shoot.
His header is wide again and he is frustrated with himself.
84' Delhi's goal-scorer comes off, to be replaced with the energetic Vinit Rai.
OFF - Bikramjit Singh (6)
ON - Vinit Rai (16)
82' WHAT A GOAL! WHAT A MOMENT!
Mandar's pass into the box is only half-cleared by Mihelic and it lands back to the Goan full-back who picks out Brandon Fernandes right next to him.
The substitute, with his first touch, notices that Dorronsoro's view is only partially visible and takes a poke at the bottom-left corner. Dorronsoro makes a desperate dive but it goes beyond him, into the back of the net.
80' Manvir making an impact immediately after coming on, but his glance just misses the right post. At the other end, goalscorer Chhangte takes a hits, which is also off the mark.
77' Couple of attacking changes for Goa as they chase a goal - or two - here.
OUT - Jackichand Singh (12)
IN - Brandon Fernandes (10)

OFF - Lenny Rodrigues (24)
ON - Manvir Singh (9)
76' And there's another yellow awarded.
Some theatrics involved too as Mihelic is involved in a challenge.
Yellow - Rene Mihelic (Delhi Dynamos)
74' WHAT A CHANCE!
And they have just failed to use it.

Rene Mihelic, who appears offside, runs down the right and floats a ball into the centre of the box.
Chhangte appears from the left and falls to connect the header, but it's gone wide.
70' AND THEY ARE BACK! GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!
FC Goa lose focus momentarily over a hand ball incident involving Dorronsoro and Crespi.
Delhi Dynamos capitalise on it to surge ahead.
A cross from the left catches Nandhakumar at the centre of the box, whose first touch takes him off his marker Mandar and near the endline. He back-heels the ball to Chhangte, who completes a routine tap-in as Mandar watches on.
Daniel can breathe easy now after that horrible miss just minutes ago.
67' DANNY! COME ON, THAT'S JUST POOR!
Delhi Dynamos could have taken the lead right there. Rene Mihelic plays it upwards to Nandhakumar, who squares the ball to Daniel Lalhlimpuia into the box.
Daniel spots the corner he wants to shoot but shoots it way off the mark.
Wasting that chance is a sin.
63' FC Goa goalkeeper Nawaz's goal-kick is too slow. It gives Nanda enough time to pile the pressure on left-back Mandar, who is waiting for the ball to roll out of the D. He takes no risk and sends the ball out for a throw-in.
Nawaz needs to at least play his goal-kicks a bit more powerfully. It's the second time he's doing this.
62' The game is heating up at the moment and Hugo Boumous gets into a tussle with Narayan Das before the referee intervenes with a booking.
Yellow - Narayan Das (Delhi Dynamos)
60' Josep Gombau makes a change for Delhi Dynamos. The substitution is possibly aimed at getting another goal.
OFF - Adria Carmona (11)
ON - Rene Mihelic (10)
57' Ahmed Jahouh gets into a scuffle with a bunch of Delhi Dynamos players, furious with the referee's decision not to award FC Goa a free-kick for Marcos Tebar's foul on Mohamed Ali. The ref is not bothered and books the Moroccan instead. Weird.
Yellow - Ahmed Jahouh (FC Goa)
54' EDUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!
FC Goa respond finally. And it's the typical Goan move which gets them the equaliser.
Corominas releases Mandar on the left and the full-back finds the run by Edu Bedia and plays it neatly to the centre of the box.
Bedia gushes in and tucks the ball into the bottom-right corner.
50' OUCH! How did that go unpunished?
Marcos Tebar lands his foot on Edu Bedia but there's no card for that.
48' Boumous darts past Chhangte, who pulls him back and goes into the referee's book.
Yellow - Lallianzuala Chhangte (Delhi Dynamos)
46' And we're back!
FC Goa have a mountain to climb here but it's not something that they haven't done before.
Lenny sets up a tidy pass for Boumous but his shot is blocked.
Sergio Lobera must be an vex manager at half-time as his side is down by a goal despite creating plenty of chances to score. A stunner from Bikramjit Singh in the sixth minute gave Delhi Dynamos the advantage and they managed to hold onto the lead with a bit of luck and some fine saves by their goalkeeper Francisco Dorronsoro.
The hosts, Goa, must consider themselves fortunate to not be down by three goals, mainly due to some poor finishing by Marcos Tebar and Marti Crespi.
Goa, however, will return a different side in the second half and the game isn't done yet. Stay tuned!
45+1' UNFORGIVABLE MISS!
Lenny concedes a corner after getting a deflection off Nandhakumar.
Carmona's take finds Crespi, who makes a run from the edge of the box but his header is shockingly wide.
Goa will be happy that Delhi have scored just one in the game!
And that's half-time.
One minute added.
44' FC Goa goalkeeper Nawaz is put under pressure as he receives the ball back and he succumbs by playing a poor pass. Delhi look to pounce on the error but Goa somehow save themselves by making a rash tackle.
41' Delhi now with the lion's share of possession and they patiently build up a move.
It's cleared first but Chhangte squeezes out the ball from Mohamed Ali's feet and then Daniel Lalhlimpuia plays Nandhakumar, who takes a strike which just misses the goal.
35' Focus out.
Carmona releases Dynamos' Nandhakumar on the left but the winger from Chennai fails to spot Chhangte's run next to him and takes a poor shot at goal. Collected.
33' CHANCE! HOW DID HE NOT PUT THAT IN?
Jackichand's cross is only half-cleared and Edu Bedia wins the ball after a tussle with Narayan Das.
Bedia gushes and goes to the near post but Dorronsoro with a last-gasp save.
PHEW! The number of chances both the sides have had in this game.
30' MISS!
Goa's intent drops and Delhi Dynamos have managed to bring down the intensity of the hosts' attacking prowess with some key interceptions. But Lenny concedes a free-kick on the left and Carmona's take beats the crowd and drops to Marcos Tebar at the far post.
Tebar is unmarked but his glance is wide.
Poor execution.
24' JACKIE WITH ALL THE STRETCHES
Lenny Rodrigues unleashes a bout of pace on the right and his cross is aimed at Jackichand on the far post. Jackie rushes in to glance it into the goal but he's late by a second and only finds the side of the net.
Brilliant move by Goa nonetheless.
22' OUCH!
Bikramjit floats a free-kick from the left. The pass is intended for Gianni Zuiverloon looks to head it inwards and directs it wide.
He falls to the ground seemingly in pain as a Goan defender gets a foot on the Brazilian's forehead.
17' OFFFFF!! OR ON?
Corominas goes down the right with the ball, playfully dribbles in the box and even finds the back of the net even though the ref has blown the whistle for an offside.
The ref is furious and warns Coro but doesn't book him. The linesman has got his decision right anyway.
15' Goa building up the play from the back but their attacking intent is clear.
Mandar and Jackichand at the left and then Mandar drops it right at the centre only for the referee to call a foul against FC Goa for a tussle in the box.
10' CORO CLOSE!
Jackichand and Coro wreak havoc again and what did I say about Goa striking back? Well, that is as close as you can get. Coro is at the centre of the box and Jackie drops a delightful ball into the left foot of the striker. Coro turns, the bodies follow him, and then with the little amount of space he has, tries to fire into the bottom left corner.
But Dorronsoro deflects it out for a corner and helps Delhi keep the advantage.
6' WHERE DID THAT COME FROM? WOW!
What a scorcher by Bikramjit. That effort is right up there and it could easily be the goal of the week, month even.
Carmona, controlling the ball on the right, lays it up for the midfielder, who is all by himself just outside the box. He turns, looks at the open space in front of him and picks the left corner with a well struck, neatly placed right-footer.
And just like that, Delhi have seized the game. But Goa can strike back.
4' Another counter by Goa.
But it is thwarted. Seriton down the right but his delivery into the box is poor and is managed easily. Goa are looking dangerous from the very beginning.
1' PEEEEEP!
Goa are on the attack from the word go. They have an early corner after good link-up play between Jackichand Singh and Ferran Corominas. Go Goa.
FC Goa play two important games this week before the international break. The first one is tonight of course, where they will look to get back to winning ways. The other one.... is a tough nut to crack. They will face Kerala Blasters in Kochi on Sunday.
National Anthem next....
All about the attack.
Sergio Lobera, the FC Goa coach, says that his aggressive tactics will not change even if his team leaks goals. “Our style of play is not going to change. I think the style of play we deploy is what makes our players stronger and I think that is the route which we have to take to achieve some important things. But there are aspects of things which we need to improve upon, but without changing our style of play," he said.
Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's Live coverage of the game between FC Goa and Delhi Dynamos. My name is Aravind Suchindran and I hope that we have a cracker of a contest at the Fatorda Stadium like always.
FC Goa will be glad to have Ferran Corominas back, which means Miguel Fernandez is benched. Lobera prefers Mohamed Ali to Chinglensana Singh.
3 changes for Dynamos - Pritam Kotal returns for Mohammad Dhot, Adria Carmona comes on for Rene Mihelic and Nandhakumar is handed a start in place of Shubham Sarangi.

Confidence is key.
Delhi Dynamos are yet to get a win in the ISL and Josep Gombau feels they have been unlucky since the beginning of the season. “Look we are not getting the results but we are playing well. We played seven games and we deserved more than what we got. For us it is an important game tomorrow, because we need to win against Goa. The last game we played well and now we are confident that we can try and get the result," he said before the game.
Coro replaceable?
Sergio Lobera, the FC Goa coach, shot down suggestions that the team performs poorly without star striker Ferran Corominas. Coro missed the previous game due to a suspension and Goa ended up 1-4 losers to Jamshedpur FC. Lobera, however, says his team is not just about one player. “As a coach, if I were to say that we lost the match because of one player would be very irresponsible on my part. It is evident that Corominas is a good player and it is good news that he will be back for us tomorrow. If you rely on one individual, then you are not going to win much. We need to overcome such adversities with or without the players,” he said.
In 10 matches between the two sides, FC Goa have notched six victories over Delhi Dynamos. The Capital side has three wins and only one match has ended in a draw.
What could be the result tonight?
Probable XI:

FC Goa vs Delhi Dynamos preview:

FC Goa were given a taste of their own medicine when they clashed off against Jamshedpur FC last week. They will hope to put that performance behind them as they take on Delhi Dynamos, who are chasing their first win in the ISL.

The Gaurs lost 1-4 to Jamshedpur in the absence of their star striker Ferran Corominas. Dynamos, on the other hand, were held 2-2 by JFC in their previous game.

Traditionally, the games between these two sides have produced a lot of goals and lots more drama. However, this could turn out to be a different contest as the attack-minded FC Goa have to work extra hard to put goals past the possession-focussed Delhi Dynamos.

Sergio Lobera will hope that goal scoring will not be a problem on Thursday as he welcomes back Corominas from suspension. Coro tops the goalscoring charts and he has struck six of Goa's 15 goals so far in the campaign.

Corominas has been supported ably by Edu Bedia, Jackichand Chand in finding the back of the net. Hugo Boumous and Ahmed Jahouh provide the support in the midfield while Miguel Palanca Fernandez is a target man who can take the game away from the opposition.

Finding the back of the net comes naturally for Goa but Dynamos have only recently gelled together as a unit. They have scored just five goals in the league but Lallianzuala Chhangte's outing against JFC will give Josep Gombau some hope ahead of the crunch game against Goa.

Goa's defence is their biggest weakness. Young goalkeeper Mohammad Nawaz is still adjusting to the demands of the ISL and is prone to errors. Goa have conceded nine goals in their five matches this season and if Delhi Dynamos can capitalise on that like JFC did, the game is theirs.

It's a crucial game for Delhi after all as they have four draws and three losses in their seven outings in the ISL. Hopes of making it to the top four will fade if they don't react now.

When and where to watch:
The live streaming of the game will be available on Hotstar and Jio TV. The TV telecast is on Star Sports Network. The kick off is at 7.30 pm IST.
