Till then, this is Shashwat Kumar signing off! Goodbye and goodnight!
PEEEEEEPPPP! Jamshedpur win the encounter 1-0!
The game started off at a frenetic pace as both sides didn't hold back in the opening period. However, Jamshedpur got into the ascendancy courtesy a brilliant goal by Sergio Castel.

Thereafter, in the second half, the game became scrappier as the fouls kept mounting, meaning that numerous yellow cards came out of the referee's pocket. Inevitably, a card of another colour was also brandished when Ahmed Jahouh was given his marching orders for a bookable offence.

Goa kept trying to barge through a stubborn Jamshedpur defensive door but those efforts went in vain as the away side held on for a massive victory
90+7' Brandon's delivery is poor and it is flicked well over the bar. Danger averted for the away side
90+6' Liston earns a corner on the left flank
90+5' Goa hoof another cross into the box but Subrata comes out and collects the cross confidently. Time is running out for the hosts
90+5' Mourtada heads on a looping long pass but it bobbles towards Subrata, who gathers it with ease
90+4 The youngster makes an instant impact and sets up Princeton. But, his shot is charged down wonderfully
90+4' Liston comes on for Edu!
90+2' Edu hurls another cross into the box but it is cleared. Jamshedpur spring an instant break but Castel's touch lets him down, for a change
90+1' Brandon emerges with the ball and tries to play a long ball towards Manvir. But, the latter is outnumbered by the defenders and Goa earn a free-kick from the resulting phase of play
A minimum of 6 minutes to be added on!
89' Castel breaks forward but he doesn't have enough support to get a shot at goal. He holds it up and eventually plays the ball off the defender for a throw-in near the corner flag. Wonderful play by the 24-year-old
88' Castel again holds up the ball well and draws a foul from Mourtada. That should ease a bit of pressure. Castel has been superb today
Change for Jamshedpur! Joyner Lourenco comes on for Robin!
86' Mourtada Fall again wins a header off an Edu free-kick but nothing else comes off it. Castel brings the ball away and he holds it up well before Saviour puts it out into touch
85' Pena tries to thread a pass to Saviour on the left flank but is caught out at the last moment by Robin. The Jamshedpur full-back has been immense at the back today. He has been effective at both ends of the pitch
83' Mourtada Fall wins a header from an Edu free-kick and heads it into a dangerous area. But, Jamshedpur have enough men back to clear the danger. Goa come again
81' And, we have a pitch invader! A dog, would you believe it!
80' Castel finds some space down the left flank and he cuts inside and lays the ball off for Mobashir. The latter sees his name on tomorrow's newspapers and goes for the outrageous curler only to sky it into the top tier
78' Jamshedpur play the off-side trap to perfection as each of Goa's forwards is caught off-side. That's exceptional defensive organisation
77' Edu wins the ball in midfield and leads another attack as he feeds Jacki. But, the latter miscues his cross before Goa recycle the ball again. This time, Seriton comes away with it and is brought down outside the box on the right. Right then, can Goa make something of this?
Goa have scored after the 75th minute in every game this season. Can they do it again and make the improbable possible?
74' Pena tries to find Manvir in the box but the cross is headed out by Narendar. Goa need to improve on their end product. Else, they might not be able to redeem themselves
72' Jahouh is sent off!
Jahouh hasn't learnt from his mistakes and he has lunged into another needless tackle. He hacks down Acosta and the referee has no hesitation in brandishing a second yellow card and a subsequent red. Not the smartest bit of play by the Moroccan
71' Mandar again gets into a promising position on the left flank but he blazes his cross over the bar. Goa aren't going to win it like this!
Booking for Acosta!
70' Jahouh takes a free-kick swiftly and finds Jacki. The winger briskly plays the ball across the his teammates are also not ready for it. A training ground routine gone wrong, maybe
66' Change for Goa! Saviour comes on for Lenny!
Is he going to be Goa's saviour tonight?
66' Monroy lines up the resulting free-kick but scoops it well over the bar. A complete waste
64' Acosta proceeds towards goal with purpose and Jahouh brings him down. The Goa midfielder is already on a yellow. He also had a rather unsavoury moment with Castel a few minutes ago. Should he still be on the pitch?
63' Change for Jamshedpur! Mobashir comes on for Vineeth!
60' Goa pinch the ball in midfield and Edu instantly picks out Jacki. The winger takes a beautiful first touch but then horribly slices his shot wide. Could've played in Manvir there. Another chance missed for Goa
58' Brandon sizes up an opportunity from outside the box and lines up his shot. However, he just cuts across the ball and that just makes the ball swerve away from goal. Jamshedpur can't keep allowing him such space
57' Goa patiently keep possession but aren't able to find any proper opening as Jamshedpur clear the ball and nearly find Castel. The goalkeeper spills it in his attempt to catch the clearance but there is no one around him to take advantage
56' Brandon and Mandar link up well on the left again but this time, the former's pass goes just a touch astray as the full-back can't catch up with it
54' Jacki whips in another dangerous cross and Mourtada, of all people, is in the box to meet it. However, he musters a tame header straight at the keeper. Goa are banging on the Jamshedpur defensive door now
53' Castel just takes a heavy touch as the ball falls from the sky on the right edge of the box. Goa spring a counter and Edu tricks his way past Tiri, before the defender cynically brings him down. Tiri gets booked for his late challenge
52' Top defending by Jamshedpur!
Jacki gets beyond his man on the right flank and cuts the ball back towards Brandon. But, Jamshedpur get a toe to the ball and clear it away near the box, where Lenny lines up a shot, but he too is charged down swiftly
51' Goa again progress well down the left flank but Mandar's cross lets him down as he can't pick out a teammate
49' Seriton saves the day!
Castel bursts forward on the right flank and he drills a low cross across the box. Vineeth is again on his heels and that allows Seriton to recover and clear the ball for a corner

48' Edu finds space between the lines and finds Jacki on the right. The latter's cross reaches Manvir who tees up Edu for the shot. But, Jamshedpur throw bodies in the line of the shot
46' Goa enjoy early possession and keep the ball well in the opening few seconds of the second half
PEEEPPP! Goa get us underway in the second half!
Change for Jamshedpur! Sumeet Passi comes on for Farukh!

PEEEEPPPP! The referee blows the whistle and Jamshedpur head into the break with a 1-0 lead!
Goa and Jamshedpur produced a manic first half which saw plenty of end to end action. However, Sergio Castel's goal remains the point of difference so far, although it looks extremely likely that someone would make the net bulge again after the restart.

However, on the balance of play, Jamshedpur have been full value for their lead and might have even been a couple of goals ahead, had they been more judicious in the final third.

As for Goa, they'll need to up the ante in the second period and showcase conviction in attacking positions. Else, they might succumb to their first loss of the ISL season
45+1' What a save by Subrata!
Edu flicks on Brandon's corner from the left and it seems destined to ripple the net. But, Subrata flings out his left claw to divert the ball away from the onrushing Pena. Top save
43' Subrata saves!
Jacki goes on the outside on the right flank and cross in wonderfully for Edu, who heads at goal. Subrata just gets down in time, or does he? This looks very close but the official has not given it as a goal. We are talking millimeters here. Goal-line technology anyone? Or better still, VAR?
41' Monroy produces an exquisite piece of skill that floors a couple of midfielder before he plays a sublime cross-field pass for Vineeth. Vineeth finds Jitendra, who hammers a shot at goal and it requires a fingertip save from Nawaz
40' Vineeth gets the better of Seriton but then gives it away to Mourtada who gives it away to Monroy. Monroy try his luck from distance but only manages a tame shot at the keeper
37' Brandon finds himself in acres of space and marches towards goal. He gets to the edge of the box and tries to link up with Manvir. But, his pass is wayward and Jamshedpur breathe a sigh of relief
35' Another over-the-top pass find Castel on the left wing and he charges inside the box. He in turn, tries to find Farukh but Mourtada gets an all-important touch, putting it behind for a corner
34' Chance for Jamshedpur!
Jahouh misses a tackle in midfield and that sets up another Jamshedpur attack. Farukh strides forward, finds Castel on the right, and the Spaniard drills it across the six-yard box for Vineeth. The latter is just a little slow and allows Seriton to get back and put in a vital challenge
32' Jacki tries to find Edu's diagonal run in the box and clips a chipped through-ball. But, it bounces away from the Spaniard as Subrata gathers it
31' Goa again make a foray down the right and Brandon feeds Jacki with an excellent through-ball. The winger whips in a low cross that eludes Manvir. Could the striker have gambled just a little more there?
30' Jamshedpur are on the counter attack and they work the ball well across the flank to find Narender. But, then the attack fizzles out as the left-back loses the ball
29' Mandar gets the better of his man on the left flank and whips in an early cross. However, Memo Moura is on hand to clear the danger for a corner. The corner is poor as it fails to beat the first man
27' Jahouh comes sliding in and takes the ball and Acosta out. He got the ball but that was definitely reckless, wasn't it? Both feet were off the ground and Jahouh was already on a yellow card. Oh! The refereeing debate can rage well into another night!
26' Goa waste the opportunity as Edu smashes his shot well above the bar. Also, there was a bit of infringement on Goa's part because their players had lined up in front of the wall
24' Free kick for Goa in a promising situation!
Monroy seemingly makes a well-timed tackle on Edu just on the edge of the box but the referee thinks otherwise. Bizarre refereeing
24' Edu wins the ball in midfield and plays a one-two with Brandon. The Spaniard then tries to find Jacki on the right side but his pass is blocked by Narendar
22' Goa bide their time in midfield before Edu senses the right opportunity to find Brandon 30 yards out. The latter lines up an ambitious shot and gets it wrong as the ball flies high over the goal
21' Nothing comes of the corner as Jamshedpur clear it before blocking Jahouh's speculative shot from outside the box
20' Wonderful interplay between Brandon and Jahouh frees the former on the left wing. He takes his time and picks out Edu, who volleys towards goal but finds Tiri in his path. The ball deflects off the defender and goes out for a corner
19' The action is coming thick and fast here. Jacki jinks his way past a challenge on the edge of the penalty box and lines up a shot. But, he can't generate enough power and Subrata claims it easily
17' GOOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLL!!!Castel scores!!!!
Robin has been getting forward quite frequently and he does so again to feed Farukh on the right flank. The Indian clips the ball into Castel's path in space and the Spaniard turns past Mourtada Fall before lashing home past the keeper. Brilliant team goal!
16' Manvir blazes over!
Edu sweeps the ball forward for Mandar. The left-back pulls the ball into Jacki's path who finds Manvir on the right edge of the box. The forward tries a first-time left-footed shot but it just sails over the bar
15' Jahouh shoots wide!
The resulting corner is cleared to Jahouh, who is 25 yards out. He lines up his shot and strikes his volley cleanly. Unfortunately, it just flies off target
14' Jahouh curls a sumptuous through-ball to Jacki on the right flank. The winger proceeds towards goal before his cut-back is intercepted by Gahlot and put behind for a corner
13' Vineeth fires wide!
Robin gets forward on the right flank and crosses for Vineeth, who unfurls a spectacular bicycle kick but sees his shot flash past the post. That was a good chance for Jamshepdur
12' Edu is seeing a lot of the ball and he again strides purposefully through the middle third. He sizes his options and decides to play a slide-rule pass to Manvir in the left channel. But, he overcooks it and it goes out for a goalkick
10' Nawaz comes out and cleans up a long ball as he plays the sweeper keeper role to perfection. Top judgement by the Indian keeper
9' Brandon, after a neat interplay plays a long ball to Manvir, who has popped up on the right flank. The forward tries to play a cross in but gets it terribly wrong as the ball sails well over the goal
8' Top save by Subrata!
Edu glides through midfield and plays a sublime through ball for Jackichand. The latter takes a couple of touches before firing his shot at goal. But, it's straight at the keeper and Subrata claws it away with his right hand. THe follow-up isn't as threatening
7' Jamshedpur play with fire at the back and are nearly caught out by Manvir
6' Jitendra finds VIneeth with a deft touch just outside the penalty box but the latter's touch lets him down as the attack comes to nothing
5' Jamshedpur miss an opportunity to carve Goa open and Goa immediately spring an attack of their own. They get the ball down to the left side before switching it into midfield. Brandon tries to get away from his marker but is tackled brilliantly. From the counter, Monroy gets away and Jahouh hacks him down. Yellow for the Goa man
4' Brandon tries to feed Manvir down the left channel behind the full back but his pass his wayward and goes straight into touch
2' The visitors are enjoying possession the early stages and are confidently pinging the ball across their defensive line
1' Castel wins the ball in midfield and feeds Robin. He whips in a cross but that is easily gathered by Nawaz. Goa make a mess clearing it but eventually manage to gain possession
Peeeppp! Jamshedpur get us underway!
The players are out in the centre! We are just moments away from the start!
FC Goa are without Coro and Hugo Boumous today and have fielded Manvir Singh as their focal point, meaning that there might be a slight change in approach, especially as they would be missing the clever movement of the unavailable pair. In their absence, Edu Bedia might have a very vital role to play, especially when linking up the play in the final third
Both Goa and Jamshedpur have conceded 5 goals so far in the season. However, the Gaurs have scored 4 more goals than the eastern outfit, meaning that they've been able to close out games more efficiently. If Jamshedpur are to post a victory tonight, they'll have to keep things tight at the back. Else, Goa could run riot at home

Hence, the encounter on Tuesday pits two sides looking to overcome hurdles that plagued them last term while also hoping that new chinks in their armour don’t resurface.

And, usually, when games of such magnitude are pencilled down, they very rarely fail to sparkle.
Much like last season, the team from the Furnace has gotten off to a brisk start, meaning that it has underlined its qualities quite early in the campaign. However, their biggest task this term would revolve around their ability to capitalise on the heavy lifting done at the outset and ensure that they don’t run out of steam towards the business end.

Last season, they seemingly lost ideas and imagination as push came to shove and with them en route a similarly tricky roadmap in the upcoming weeks, they would be hoping to bury last season’s ghosts and carve out a niche for themselves in the Indian Super League.

Moreover, the blistering form of Farukh Choudhary, Sergio Castel and the ever-dependable Tiri has allowed them to weave many a pretty pattern. And, promisingly, those have been stitched together to create an end product.
Thus, on paper, FC Goa boast enough firepower to outplay and outclass most teams present in the ISL. However, that particular task would be easier said than done against equally high-flying Jamshedpur FC.
Consequently, they’ve cast themselves as one of the frontrunners for the title, more so because they’ve almost got a full complement of players to choose from. Coro has been brilliant whereas the likes of Ahmed Jahouh and Lenny Rodrigues have formed the backbone of the side in midfield.

Most importantly though, Brandon Fernandes seems to have raised his game a notch, thereby portraying himself as one of the chief protagonists of the side.
Subsequently, the club has been fervently searching for a recipe that spells the same as an ISL triumph, with the 2019-20 season gaining even more importance, especially considering the Gaurs’ excellence on the pitch and the fact that they might not be able to unfurl such exquisite football for a prolonged period of time.

However, after a 3-0 drubbing of Chennaiyin FC in their opening fixture, FC Goa stumbled just a tad, meaning that they could only indulge in stalemates against Bengaluru FC and NorthEast United. Yet, akin to the indomitable spirit the Goa faithful showcase, they dug deep into their offensive reserves to stick 4 past a hapless Mumbai City FC outfit, just on the stroke of the international break.
Back in March 2019, FC Goa, armed with a free-flowing style of play, arrived on the Western coast of India, hoping to finally add some substance to their unique and unparalleled style. Unfortunately, though, they lost out to Rahul Bheke and Bengaluru FC in the dying moments, meaning that their wait for the elusive ISL crown continued.
Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the ISL fixture between FC Goa and Jamshedpur FC! I am Shashwat Kumar and I will be taking you through the build-up and the entirety of the contest! Do stay tuned and gear up for an entertaining encounter!
