Right! That's it from us here at Sportskeeda! Hope you enjoyed our coverage of this manic encounter between FC Goa and the Kerala Blasters! Also, do stay tuned to Sportskeeda for all the latest news, scores and updates from the ISL!

Till then, this is Shashwat Kumar signing off! Goodbye and goodnight!
PEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP!!!! Goa triumph 3-2 and move to the top of the ISL table!
FC Goa eventually portrayed their superior attacking pedigree at the Fatorda to help clinch a spot at the perch of the ISL table. The game was played at an extremely frenetic pace with both sets of players feeling the effects of the contest towards the end. However, when push came to shove, the hosts displayed the requisite determination and imagination to pull away from their rivals.

Boumous got things going after getting on the end of a superb team move while Jacki doubled the Gaurs' lead before the break. After the restart though, Goa inexplicably switched off as Kerala struck twice, once through Messi and later, through Ogbeche to set up a grand-stand finish.

Ultimately, Goa lived up to their reputation of scoring late goals as Boumous popped up with an acrobatic finish to ensure that the three points remained at the Fatorda.
90+7' DOungel holds the ball well in the corner and that should be that
90+6' Jeakson takes a moment too long on the ball and that allows Brandon and DOungel to close him down. And, to make matters worse for the Blasters, the throw-in goes Goa's way
90+5' Coro is replaced by Doungel!
Coro seems to have come worse off from that challenge and looks in a lot of pain. The stretcher is out, although the ground staff don't take too long to bring it out anyway
90+3' Jeakson finds Ogbeche, who turns and tries to pick the lock. But, he goes down too easily and Goa are on the attack. The ball finds its way to Saviour, who threads a pass for Coro, but the Spaniard is tackled expertly at the last moment. And, Coro is down in a heap!
In the meantime, Jeakson has come on for Raju!
90+2' Messi advances down the left and tries to find Ogbeche with an early cross. But, like many a time, Mourtada is in the line of the cross and clears it away
A minimum of five minutes to be added on!
90' Boumous is replaced by Saviour Gama!
89' Rafi gets on the end of a free-kick and heads it towards the centre of goal. But, Jahouh is there to clear the knock-down and set Goa on the break. Coro dances past his marker on the half-way line and feeds Manvir, who runs clear of Narzary before the latter catches up. Ultimately, the defender gets the ball away for a corner
88' Now, its Jahouh's turn to get booked! Not a very uncommon sight, one must say! That also means that he will miss Goa's next game!
87' Change for Kerala! Rafi comes on for Rakip!
85' Boumous is booked for kicking the ball away! He then has a go at the referee but escapes a booking for the same!
83' GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!! Boumous, you beauty!! Goa in front!
Jahouh picks up a loose ball just outside the box, sizes up his options and then spots Boumous' run beyond the centre backs. The Frenchman outstretches his right boot and acrobatically strikes at goal, although he doesn't get it cleanly. Rehenesh though, is caught out by the spontaneity of the shot and the ball bounces off him and into the back of the net. Wow! That certainly is a worthy match-winner!
82' Brandon and Cido go into the book for a needless bit of afters post a tackle! Not the smartest bit of play by either!
81' Sahal shoots wide!
Sahal indulges in a bit of nifty footwork and he goes past Mourtada as if the latter wasn't there. He then lines up a shot from the edge of the box nit his shot off the outside of his boot flies wide of the far post
We have entered the last 10 minutes of the game and there could be a goal or two in store. In fact, Goa have scored 8 late goals, the most in the competition so far
80' Manvir advances down the right and then pulls it back for Jahouh. But, Goa then over-play it and hand the ball to Kerala. However, Messi, too over-complicates things and Mourtada sweeps up the danger
78' Manvir replaces Jacki!
78' Now, Raju has gone down injured. The frenetic pace of the encounter is starting to catch up with the players. However, the injury to the defender doesn't look serious and seems more of a cramp
75' Jacki cheaply gives the ball away in the middle third and Messi is on his way on the left. But, his intended pass to Ogbeche is errant and Nawaz comes and collects comfortably
74' Sahal comes on for Seityasen!
74' Both sides are feeling their way back into the encounter after the madness of the first 25 minutes. Well, that was a bit overdue wasn't it? It has been a frantic game so far
70' Gning brings down Coro and the referee awards a free-kick. The Goa players want a second yellow for the midfielder but it isn't coming. The players converge on the referee but they eventually, allow the referee a moment of peace
69' GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!! Ogbeche brings Kerala level!!
Cido whips in a corner from the left flank and Ogbeche just muscles Mandar away. He then rises above everyone else and thumps his header into the back of the net. Sloppy defending all around by Goa
67' Another tidy spell of possession for Goa but they haven't been able to penetrate the visitors' defence like they did in the first half. But, despite Boumous' attempts at keeping the ball, they lose it, just because of the sheer number of players in and around the Frenchman
65' Brandon pinches the ball in midfield and that allows the hosts to stitch together a few passes to calm things down. But, then they uncharacteristically give it away and Coro fouls his man trying to regain possession
64' Gning goes into the book for a challenge on Brandon!
62' Ogbeche heads wide!
Seityasen frees himself of his marker's clutches and then curls in a deep cross for Ogbeche. The striker gets to it first but can't direct his header at goal
59' Narzary skips past a couple of challenges, gets to the by-line on the left and clips in a cross for his strikers. But, it is intercepted by Mourtada as Goa clear the danger. The Goan boat is creaking here
57' Jacki fluffs his lines!
Boumous and Coro link up well in midfield and the former finds Jacki in space. The Indian bares down on goal and then rather perplexingly, decides to shoot at goal, despite a narrow angle. Unsurprisingly, he fires it wildly over the bar. Coro is livid with his winger and rightly so. The Spaniard was in acres of space inside the box
55' From a throw-in, Kerala get the ball to Jessel, who whips in a deep cross. Nawaz comes flapping at it but gets away with it. In a matter of moments, Goa are under pressure again and Messi is baring down on Mourtada. But, the defender times his tackle to perfection and denies Messi. Wow! Both sides have just let go of the handbrake!
53' GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL!!!! Messi pulls one back for Kerala!!
Kerala, much like Goa, work the ball well across the pitch and then find Seityasen on the left. The Indian fires in a pass to Messi, who dummies it, allows Ogbeche to lay it on for him. The latter plays a perfectly cushioned pass and Messi finishes off the opening with his left boot from inside the box. Game on!
50' Messi advances down the left and gets in a good cross towards Ogbeche. Pena gets to the ball first but his clearance is straight at the Blasters skipper. Luckily for the hosts, the striker's touch lets him down as Nawaz gathers the loose ball
49' Brandon returns to the field of play, although his movement seems severely restricted
Brandon has gone down clutching his left ankle and he is immediately signalling towards the bench for treatment. He looks in a bit of pain and it would be interesting to see how serious it is
47' The corner is recycle to Jahouh outside the box but the Moroccan's sweetly struck volley flies wide of the post
46' Now, it's Goa's turn to attack and they try to do so through Coro. The Spaniard seems primed to run onto the long pass but Drobarov does just enough to put the ball behind for a corner
46' Kerala are on the attack instantly and Ogbeche spreads the play towards Seityasen on the right. But, the Indian fires his cross high and wide
PEEEEEEEEEPPPPP! Kerala get us underway!
PEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP!! The referee blows the whistle and Goa lead 2-0 at half-time!
45+3' Kerala bombard the Goa box with long balls but the hosts are up to it completely
45+1' GOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!! Jacki doubles Goa's lead!
Goa take a quick free-kick and Boumous strides purposefully towards the box. He picks out Mandar, who tries to find the Frenchman in the middle. But, his cross his deflected towards Coro on the right, where the Spaniard drills in a ball and Jacki just pokes it with the bottom of his boot past Rehenesh. What an exceptionally well worked goal!
Lenny is down injured at the moment and the medical staff are treating him. Goa would hope that it's nothing serious and that the midfielder can continue, considering he is one of their most vital cogs
43' Seityasen cuts inside but his shot is charged down by Lenny. The latter then sets up a counter attack and proceeds down the right. But, Jacki is just a touch sluggish in his movement, meaning that Kerala come away with the ball
42' Kerala string together an attack and Seityasen spots Cido's run down the right channel. However, the Spaniard is tackled brilliantly by Pena and Kerala have another corner
41' Kerala whip in the resulting corner at the front post and Raju gets his head to it. But, he gets a heavy touch, meaning that the ball eludes everyone in the box and bounces out of bounds
40' Cido picks up the ball in midfield and then strides towards goal. However, he dallies on the ball a touch too long and that enables Seriton to get across and stab the ball out of play for a corner
38' Seityasen finds himself in a bit of room on the left and he clips in a cross towards the far post where Messi is waiting. But, Mandar gets his angles right and heads the ball to Cido, on the edge of the box. Luckily, Boumous is alert enough to track back and mop up the danger
37' Jessel proceeds down the left flank and he plays in a slide-rule pass for Seityasen. But, the pass is just a little heavy, thereby allowing Mourtada to come around and shield it out for a goal-kick
35' Brandon drifts inside and that frees up space for Mandar. The latter marauds down the flank and is picked out by the former. This time though, his cross is blocked and the deflection is held by the keeper
34' Kerala work the ball from the resulting corner and get the ball to Jessel on the right. The full back whips in a deep cross, which is punched by Nawaz. However, it wouldn't have mattered as the assistant raises his flag for an off-side
34' Rakip advances down the right wing and clips in a cross for Messi. Mourtada puts his body on the line and heroically heads the ball away for a corner
32' Boumous brings down a loose ball in the middle third and finds Coro. The Spaniard then picks out Jacki, who spins around and tries to work the ball again. Finally, Kerala get the ball away and they breathe a sigh of relief. The visitors are hanging on here
30' Jahouh again drops in between the centre backs and lobs the ball forward for COro, who has run off his marker for the umpteenth time. However, the Spaniard fails to pick out Boumous as the ball rolls out for a corner, via a deflection
29' Mandar keeps the ball in excellently and that sets them up for another attack. The try to play in Coro, but the pass is cleared by Gaikwad. The ball falls to Jacki, who picks out Boumous but the latter is ultimately crowded out
Goa work the ball well in midfield and then Brandon picks out Mandar superbly on the left flank. The defender looks up, takes a touch and then drills in a low cross for Boumous. The Frenchman gets ahead of Drobarov and thumps the ball home. Scintillating team goal!
26' Boumous dances past a couple of challenges, ignores Jacki's run on the right and decides to feed Coro, who runs diagonally across the right-sided centre-back. But, the pass is just underhit as Kerala bring it away
23' Penalty appeal for Goa!
Boumous controls an aerial pass inside the box and then feeds Jacki, who clips in a pass for Coro. The Spaniard is seemingly pulled back inside the area but the referee waives those claims away
23' Ogbeche clears off his line!
Brandon whips in the resulting corner and Mourtada towers above his marker to power down a header. However, he is thwarted on the line by Ogbeche. Crucial intervention
22' Jahouh picks the ball up in another deep position and then looks for a long pass towards Coro. The Spaniard gets in between the centre backs and tries to control the pass. However, his touch deserts him but Rehenesh is benevolent enough to award GOa a corner
20' Pena's clearance finds Coro on the left flank and the Spaniard cuts inside before trying to pick out Brandon on the opposite side. However, Jessel just gets a toe at the final moment to deny his compatriot a touch
19' Ogbeche heads wide!
Rakip gets the better of Brandon on the right and then whips in a delightful cross. Ogbeche rises above Pena at the front post and tries to direct his header at goal. But, he doesn't get the requisite angle and only heads it wide of the far post
18' Jahouh pings a long ball forward for Boumous, who then spreads it towards Seriton on the right. The defender tries to pick out Jacki but the pass has just a tad too much weight to allow the winger to rein it in
16' Brandon floats a free-kick towards Pena at the far post and the Spaniard nods it down for his teammates. But, Rehenesh collects easily and the flag is also raised for off-side. Goa are slowly growing into the game
14' Goa stitch together their first meaningful attack after Seriton wins the ball in the opposition half. A bit of pin-ball ensues before Jahouh finds himself in a shooting situation. But, the Moroccan drags his shot wide of the post
14' Gning strides through midfield and then slides a pass down the channel for Ogbeche. But, the latter is marshalled by Mourtada and he only manages to scuff his shot
11' Kerala work the corner well and Cido finds Jessel on the left. He curls in a good cross that isn't met properly by Messi, meaning that Nawaz can collect the loose ball
11' Rakip continues his foray down the right flank and gets in another dangerous cross. Seriton, unsure about the presence of Narzary, unconvincingly puts it behind for a corner
Boumous finds himself in space on the inside right channel and he then releases Coro. The Spaniard takes the ball in his stride and dinks it over the keeper, only to find the flag raised by the assistant. Replays suggest it was tight but the right call was made in the end
Kerala have enjoyed an awful lot of the ball so far. In fact, they've dominated possession, with 61% of it
7' From the resulting throw in, Kerala get an aerial ball up to Messi, who holds it up and sets up Drobarov for a shot on the left edge of the box. The centre back though, skies his shot horribly
6' Rakip gets himself in another crossing situation and this time, he gets a better ball in. However, Pena is on hand to tower above Messi and head the ball away. Jahouh's poor header puts Goa in temporary trouble but they get the ball out of bounds eventually
5' Rakip proceeds down the right flank with intent and finds himself in a good crossing position. But, he produces a pretty woeful cross that sails well over the bar. Goa have a goal kick
4' Kerala enjoy a bit of possession as they pass the ball from side to side inside their own half. They try to release Jessel on the left but Jacki gets in a toe to put the ball into touch
2' Messi wins a long ball and then feeds Seityasen on the right. But, the Indian can't return the compliment as Pena sees the ball out for a throw-in, albeit via a deflection
1' Kerala nearly dig their own grave but the visitors manage to get a vital deflection to get the ball away after giving it to Goa in the first place
1' Goa are immediately on the attack and Brandon and Boumous interchange passes on the left flank. The Frenchman then sets up the Indian for a shot but the latter drags his shot wide of the near post
PEEEEEEPPPPP!!! FC Goa get us underway!
The teams indulge in their customary pre-match photograph session and Mandar and Ogbeche converge for the toss at the centre! We are just moments away from the start of what promises to be a pulsating encounter!

Fasten your seat-belts and brace yourselves for Match 67 of the ISL!
The players walk out onto the pitch! And, it's time for the Indian national anthem!
Messi Bouli and Ogbeche have scored 13 of the 18 goals that Kerala have scored so far in their campaign. Unsurprisingly, they've struggled when the pair has struggled. Can Goa keep them quiet tonight?
After serving his suspension, Brandon returns to the line-up tonight and that would certainly aid FC Goa's endeavors of breaching the Blasters' rear-guard. In his absence, the Gaurs uncharacteristically looked slightly devoid of ideas, meaning that he might be orchestrating proceedings at the Fatorda against Eelco Schattorie's men.

Consequently, an encounter between a side perched at the top and another languishing in the bottom trenches has morphed into one where countless narratives and sub-plots galore.

Yet, at this juncture, it would take an extremely brave man to bet against Goa not posting a victory. However, one must remember that only a handful thought the Blasters were capable of success at ATK and they came through that test pretty well.

And, that particular propensity of the Blasters, although it might frustrate the Manjappada every now and then, is what adds a significant layer of intrigue to the contest on Saturday.
Hence, against a Blasters team, which has conceded 18 goals in 13 matches, the hosts would fancy themselves, more so considering the former don’t particularly specialize in swift breaks.

In fact, if Schattorie were to have his way, he would want his charges playing the brand of football Goa preach on a regular basis. However, with that particular dream looking unlikely to come to fruition anytime soon, the Dutchman might have to resign himself to playing on the back foot and hoping to capitalize on whatever minimal opportunities the Gaurs accord them.
Goa, on the other hand, have gone from strength to strength through the course of the season and were
utterly dominant, before a trip to the Kanteerava at the start of the year. Since then, a scrappy victory against NorthEast has been sandwiched between reverses against ATK and Bengaluru FC, meaning that they’ve allowed their nearest rivals to peg them back.

Yet, while the Gaurs have, at times, shown a susceptibility to come unstuck against sides that defend deep and
exploit the counter attacking avenue, they’ve largely been spotless against outfits that aren’t as rich in defensive pedigree.
Thus, the game against FC Goa, at best, represents a chance for the Blasters to upset the Gaurs’ apple cart and ruffle the latter’s feathers as they attempt to solidify top spot. And, while that could just ease the pressure on Eelco Schattorie’s troops and allow them to express themselves, it could also hand the 2018-19 ISL finalists the requisite initiative, especially if the Blasters fail to turn up entirely.
And, over the course of a few days, the Kochi-based outfit had taken a couple of steps in either direction, much like the rest of their campaign. Subsequently, their faint hopes of qualification had evaporated further, although they still remain in the hunt, albeit mathematically.
A fortnight ago, the Kerala Blasters stunned the Indian footballing fraternity when they rocked up at the Salt Lake Stadium and emerged from the rubble with the full complement of points. A week later though, in the most Blasters-esque fashion, they pushed the self-destruct button, just as they sensed an opportunity to dent Jamshedpur FC’s charge.
Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the ISL encounter between FC Goa and Kerala Blasters! I am Shashwat Kumar and I will be taking you through the build-up and the entirety of the contest! Do stay tuned!
