Changes for India at Half Time. Manvir Singh replaced by Udanta Singh. Brandon Fernandes replaced by Lallianzuala Chhangte.
HALF TIME : India 0-3 DPR Korea

A dominant North Korean performance is all to show for as three quick goals from the East Asian side have virtually put India out of the game in just 30 minutes. A lack of cohesive defensive performance was also visible as all the three goals were scored largely due to improper positioning and marking. The Indian midfield also failed to have considerable possession and failed to create any chances from open play courtesy very poor pass accuracy upfront and lack of pace on the wings.

India have to shift their game plan and play more on the wings to somehow pull back 3 goals which looks highly unlikely. Nevertheless, anything can happen in Football with just the correct combination in key positions. Stimac's men have 45 minutes to overturn an unassailable Korean lead. Can they do it? Well, there is only one way to find out. Second half 10 minutes away. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda.
45+2' Brandon Fernandes floats in a ball from the free-kick. Everybody in the box including the Goal-keeper goes for the ball but nobody is at the end of it.
Additional Time : 2 Minutes.
44' Amrinder Singh slowly going into confidence as another defence splitting ball goes past the Indian Defence with Ri Un Chol on the run but Amrinder Singh comes of his line and sweeps it up.
43' Hyong Jin goes for goal from the free-kick and tries curl one in around the India Wall but Amrinder Singh is on his spot, this time and parries it away for safety.
42' Adil Khan gets booked straight after coming in. Khan brings down Myong Song just outside the box yet again. Dangerous area as the Koreans scored from a similar position and distance on the other side in the initial minutes.
40' North Korea get a free-kick just outside the India box in the left side after Pritam Kotal handles a lobbed ball. The free-kick is skied over the target for an India goal-kick.
38' Sandesh Jhingan down holding his hamstring as he looks to have pulled it up. Adil Khan replaces him at the centre of the defensive line.
35' Sandesh Jhingan with a rash tackle from the back, brings down Ri Un Chol. Gets booked.
32' North Koreans are way more composed and are sticking to their original game plan are able to find gaps between the Indian defence which Jhingan and co, have to stop allowing in order to not concede more goals.
28' GOAAAAAAAAL! Absymal defending the Blue Tigers. A high ball from the left flank finds Jong il Gwan who heads it sneakily into the bottom right by getting way higher than his marker, Jerry Lalrinzuala. Amrinder Singh fails to dive downwards as North Korea have a comfortable 3-0 lead.
25' First tactical change for North Korea as they look to empower their defensive prowess. Thae Hyok replaced by Pak Myong.
23' Corner for North Korea. The ball falls on to the Captain Jong il Gwan who heads it and forces a save out of Amrinder Singh. Manvir Singh was down marking il Gwan.
20' A free-kick from Brandon Fernandes deep in the Korean half is headed away by Yong Chol for safety. India find it tough to test the Korean Goalkeeper. He has not been yet forced to pull of any save.
18' North Korea are asking serious questions of the Indian defence and midfield with several attacks, mostly from the right. The Koreans are also coercing themselves on to the Indian players to snatch possession back in no time. The Indians have to spread out wide and create more space themselves to work the North Korean defence out.
15' GOAAAAAAAAL! 2-0 in no time. Jong il Gwan with a pass splitting the Indian defence to find Sim Hyon Jin who slots it calmly past Amrinder Singh. Pritam Kotal was way off his position and was behing Hyon Jin instead of marking him from the front.
12' North Korea piling pressure on to India, mostly from the right flank keeping the Indian Left-back Jerry Lalrinzuala extremely busy.
10' MISS! Chhetri with an unprecedented miss from a Brandon Fernandes free-kick from the right. Would have been 1-1 in no time as the Korean Goalkeeper was caught ball watching.
6' GOAAAAAAAL! Jong il Gwan scores from a free-kick outside the Indian box. The Indian Wall was completely off the actual position disallowing a hapless diving Amrinder Singh to save the ball. Straight into the top-left corner.

The initial foul was due to an infringement by Amrjit Singh Kiyam.
4' India with a slow start. North Korea have the lion's share of possession early on and create two half chances down from the right but Jhingan and Kotal see the danger away on both the occasions.
India get us underway in their traditional Tigris Vena. North Korea are in their away white.

Hello and Welcome to Sportskeeda's LIVE coverage of the Intercontinental Cup game between India and DPR Korea. This is your host, Sayak Dipta Dey who will bring you all the LIVE updates from Ahmedabad.
The fourth fixture of Intercontinental Cup 2019 takes place between hosts India and Korea DPR at the Transtadia Arena of Ahmedabad on Saturday evening. Both the teams faced defeats in their opening games despite securing an early lead.India had high hopes before their game against Tajikistan. However, an unexpected defensive collapse shattered Igor Stimac's dreams of a perfect start to the tournament. The 2-0 lead at half time turned upside down to 2-4 at the end of the game. Missing Sandesh Jhinganand Anas Edathodika at defence was the main problem before the Blue Tigers in their last game. Stimac would first aim at adding more experience to his backline. A good partner to Adil Khan at the centre-back position will be vital. In the midfield, India will look to maintain fitness and agility in the second half. Other factors aiding the hosts' confidence will be the recent results. India had a good outing at the AFC Asian Cup earlier this year. The win against Thailand at the King's Cup too have helped the team on field. A safe and secure game plan from the Croatian gaffer might clinch India a win. India's last fixture at the Intercontinental Cup is against Syria, on 16th.NorthKorea started off their campaign against Syria, with a 5-2 defeat. Theytook the lead in the 3rd minute through Jong Gwan. But, defence was a problem for Yun Jong-Su's side after half time as they found it difficult to hold back the Syrian attacks. For their match against India, the manager will be planning at a midfield centred game. The two central midfielders will have additional duty to form a block before the defenders. Attacks will be formed upon from the left flank in particular. With the Indian defence lacking confidence, if allowed space, Korea will take shots at goal. However, the side hasn't showcased good football in recent times. They have lost their last six games, conceding 4 goals or more. The 122nd ranked team in FIFA rankingswill still be a serious challenge to the hosts. Read the full Sportskeeda Preview of the game here.

The game kicks-off at 8 PM at the EKA Arena, Ahmedabad.
