69' And, Deepak Tangri of Chennaiyi FC goes in the book for a reckless challenge in the center of the park on Aitor Monroy. Lucky to see only a yellow. He got that sliding tackle all wrong with his studs up. It should have been a red.
68' CHANCE! Jamshedpur FC could have leveled the score out of nowhere. Vishal Kaith comes out of his line and can't collect the ball. Jackichand Singh takes a shot into the empty goal, but Sipovic gets his foot in the last time to keep the lead intact.

Don't go anywhere as we will be back with the second half action here in Sportskeeda.

43' Issac attempts a cross from inside the box towards Jamshedpur striker Valskis, but Sipovic clears it.
41' Jamshedpur FC try to find a ball to Jackichand Singh once again, but this time it is too heavy for the Manipuri winger to control.
39' The pace of the game has not slowed down a bit.
37' GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAL! Nerijus Valskis heads the ball home with an angled header from a cross by Jackichand Singh. Game on here.

Nothing taking away from the Lithuanian's strike. It was his first shot in the game and it goes straight in the back of the net as Sabia misses his marker. Valskis follows it up with a Namaste celebration.
35' Issac Vansalmawma takes a free kick near the corner flag but his cross is headed out neatly by Chennaiyin FC defender Fanai.

The shot is towards Rehenesh's bottom but the Keralite makes a good attempt to parry the ball away.

10' SHOT! It should have been 2-0 for Chennaiyin FC. Esma's pass is intercepted by Renthlei but Chhangte doesn't run to get at the end of it as he was offside. Esma keeps on running and finds himself one-on-one with the Jamshedpur FC goalkeeper. But, his final shot is astray. Esma would be gutted to miss this one.
9' Corner for Jamshedpur FC. Sipovic blocks Lima's shot. But, the Red Miners completely blow away the opportunity.
7' SHOT! And, Jamshedpur FC almost got the scoreline levelled. Issac floats the ball in and Peter Hartley gets a free header. But, it lacks direction and the ball narrowly goes out. Poor marking from Chennaiyin. They could have found their lead got cut short within 10 minutes of scoring.
6' Jamshedpur FC wins a foul from a dangerous position after Deepak Tangri brings down Issac. What can Jamshedpur FC do?
5' CHANCE! A dangerous looking high cross from Chennaiyin's right wing is caught in the air by Rehenesh TP before Esma can head it in. The game is turning out to be a very high-intensity one.
4' SHOT! Valskis lays the ball off to Alex Lima who takes a shot from outside the box but it clatters the boot of the Chennaiyin FC defenders and the danger averts.
1' GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLL! And, Anirudh Thapa blasts the ball into the back of the net after getting at the end of a low cross from Esmael Goncalves

Crivellaro wins the ball at the center circle from Jitendra Singh and he releases Esma in the right wing. The Guinea Bissau player delivers a low cross and Thapa slots the ball home with what is his first touch of the game.
1' PEEEEP! We are underway here at the Tilak Maidan Stadium in Vasco as Chennaiyin FC FC gets us going.
Peter Hartley wears the captain's armband for Jamshedpur FC while Rafael Crivellaro dons the same for Chennaiyin FC.
Up next is the National Anthem of India!
Both the teams are out. Chennaiyin FC are wearing their away plain whites with Jamshedpur FC donning their traditional brick reds. The teams come out separately following Covid protocols.
Rafael Crivellaro created 52 chances for Chennaiyin FC last season, the highest in ISL. Can he continue his magic this season for the Marina Machans? Let's find out.
After four matches of ISL, the league hasn't seen a single Indian name in the score sheet. But, can it change today with Chhangte (Chennaiyin) and Jackichand (Jamshedpur) both known for their goalscoring prowess? Let's find out.
Jamshedpur FC has a decent starting line-up. Although 18-year-old Sandip Mandi on the left back position does look vulnerable. Whoever slots in the right flank position for Chennaiyin FC could prove dangerous for the 'Men of Steel.'
It is surprising that Chennaiyin FC has left out Edwin Vanspaul in the bench and favoured the young Deepak Tangri to partner Anirudh Thapa in the centre of the park. The former India U-19 international has big boots to fill.
Peter Hartley, Stephen Eze, and Alexandre Lima are the three foreigners for Jamshedpur FC who will be making their ISL debut. The first two names will be forming the centre-back partnership whereas the last name is expected to play in the left wing position.
Enes Sipovic, Jakub Sylvestr, and Esmael Goncalves are the three Chennaiyin FC players making their ISL debut. While the former will play as a centre-back, the other two are likely to play as forwards.
Chennaiyin FC Starting XI (4-4-2): Vishal Kaith (GK), Reagan Singh, Lalchhuanmawia Fanai, Enes Sipovic, Eli Sabia; Deepak Tangri, Lallianzuala Chhangte, Rafael Crivellaro, Anirudh Thapa; Esmael Goncalves, Jakub Sylvestr

Jamshedpur FC Starting XI (4-2-3-1): TP Rehenesh (GK), Laldinliana Renthlei, Peter Hartley, Sandip Mandi, Stephen Eze; Jitendra Singh, Issac Vanmalsawma; Alexandre Lima, Aitor Monroy, Jackichand Singh; Nerijus Valskis

Ladies and gentlemen welcome again to Sportskeeda's LIVE commentary for today's Jamshedpur FC vs Chennaiyin FC ISL match. This is your host Abhishek Kundu. The line-ups should be out at any moment.
Memo Moura signed for Chennaiyin FC from Jamshedpur. Like Valskis who signed on the dotted lines in the opposite direction, he too will be eager to make his mark against his former side.
Anirudh Thapa and Lallianzuala Chhangte are the two Indian players from Chennaiyin FC outfit to keep an eye on. Both of them regularly feature for the Indian national team, with the former lighting up the midfield and the latter known for his pace and shooting prowess from the wings.
Jamshedpur FC fans should keep an eye on Jackichand Singh. The Manipuri winger played for FC Goa last season and dazzled the right wing. He signed a two-year contract with them in the summer and could make his debut against Chennaiyin FC tonight.
Csaba Laszlo will be leading Chennaiyin FC on the other hand. He comes into the ISL after coaching Romanian club Sepsi OSK Stantu Gheorghe to ninth position in their top division.
Jamshedpur FC will be led by Owen Coyle, who famously guided Chennaiyin FC from the bottom of the table to ISL runners-up position last season. He will be facing his former side alongside Nerijus Valskis, who won the Golden Boot award in the last edition of ISL.
Hello and Welcome to Sportskeeda's LIVE coverage between of the Indian Super League game between Jamshedpur FC and Chennaiyin FC at the Tilak Maidan Stadium in Goa.
