Amer Shafi' 25'
Ehsan Haddad 58'

FULL TIME : Jordan 2-1 India

India more constructive and positive in the second half as they pulled back one goal through Nishu Kumar. The Blue Tigers did go all out for the equaliser but a tactically superior Jordanian side were able to see out the second half on the winning side.

A tough ride for India comes to a close as the players return to India for the Indian Super League and I-League action.

This is was your host Sayak (@sayak_dd) bringing you the game. Stay Tuned to Sportskeeda for further updates.
90+3' Narayan Das's long ball into the box earns India a corner but the in-swinging ball from Ashique yields India nothing.
Additional Time : 3 Minutes.
90' Jordan going strong till the last minute as Bakheet and Bani Atiyeh do a little one-two between them to open up the Indian defence but a last ditch save from Sandhu keeps India in the game somehow.
87' Narayan Das swings in a corner, goes past everybody in the box as Pronay Haldar was at the far end of the box but could not reach the ball.
83' Dual Change from India :

OUT - Germanpreet Singh (28)
IN - Sumeet Passi (10)

OUT - Narayan Das (21)
IN - Anirudh Thapa (7)
80' Al-Basha brings down Ashique outside the box but the referee plays on the game as India were on a position to score but Thapa's first time shot is blocked on it's way as Jordan recover.
77' Jordan back to dominating possession after a brief period of pressure from the Indian side.
74' Anas Edathodika is out of the playing area after suffering a slight nick.
69' Ashique combining well with Thapa and Germanpreet upfront which has pushed the home side on the back foot by some extent.
65' Much better from India as they are now using both the leagues in tandem in a hope to get the all important equaliser.
61' GOAAAAL! Ashique Kuruniyan plays Germanpreet through on the right who finds Nishu Kumar stranded in the box with a inch-perfect pass who slots it home past Shafi to reduce the deficit.
60' Substitution for India :

OUT - Jackichand Singh (25)

56' India slightly better in the second half as they getting ample amount of possession to their credit.
51' Haddad does a little shimmy and tries to curl it in from the outside of his boot but the shot is wide. He has been a menace on the wings for the Indian defence throughout the course of the game.
Substitution for India at the break :

OUT - Jerry Lalrinzuala (27)
IN - Ashique Kuruniyan (19)
Second half kicks-off.
HALF TIME : Jordan 1-0 India

It has been Jordan all the way in the first half. Sandhu made a mess of a simple incoming ball and allowed the home side to take the lead in an unprecedented manner. Second half coming up next. Stay Tuned.
Additional Time : 1 Minute.
45' MISS! Jordan make a mess of a big chance to double the lead as yet another Haddad cross goes past everybody in the box as Sandhu was rooted to his position.
43' India get to play some football of their own in the Jordanian half. Anirudh Thapa swings in a free-kick into the box but headed out easily by the crowd of Jordanian defenders.
37' Haddad swings in a brilliant ball from the right by wrong-footing Salam, finds Atiyeh who shoots towards the target and cleared off the goal-line by Subhasish Bose as Sandhu kept on watching. Big let off here for India.
28' Jordan all out on attack from both the flanks troubling Kotal and Bose in regular intervals. The pacey runs from Sameer and Atiyeh is too much for the Indian side-backs to contain.
25' GOAL! Comedy of Errors from the Indian Goalkeeper as a long kick from the Jordanian keeper A.Shafi ends up in the Indian net catching Sandhu off his line.
19' India earn a corner against the run of play. Anirudh Thapa swings it towards Vineet Rai who has the opportunity to fire it in first time but takes too much time on the ball and allows the Jordanians to get the ball back.
13' India unable to thread passes among themselves and are allowing Jordan to come onto them and are hoping to hit the Reds on counter.
8' SAVED! Sandhu dives to his right to deny Jordan their first goal from the spot through Bani Atiyeh.
7' PENALTY! Jordan awarded a spot-kick after Ersan's shot hits Kotal's hand on the way towards the target. Questionable decision from the referee but now Sandhu has to pull off a save to keep the scorers untroubled.
6' India hardly able to get the ball on their feet as Jordan try to build from the back.
3' Jordan dominating the early exchanges. The Reds earn a corner but gets it punched away by Gurpreet Sandhu. The ball goes back to the home side. Haddad forwards a floating long ball towards Faisal whose first time shot is wide of the target.
0' Kick-off. The Home side in red get us underway. India are in their usual sky blues.
National Anthems done and dusted. Pre-Match Photographs and Handshakes over. It is time for kick-off.
The teams are out in the middle amidst the familiar FIFA anthem.
The King Abdullah Stadium is sparsely filled as both the teams are all set to lock horns with each other for the very first time.
We're about 20 minutes away from kick off and the 'historic' friendly between India and Jordan will happen after all. The team has been through a lot but will they be fresh enough to put up a fight against Jordan? We'll find out.
Surprising XI that Stephen Constantine has fielded here and it's probably got something to do with those seven players arriving in Jordan only Friday night.
Anirudh Thapa is the lone striker up front and it appears that they are going with a 4-5-1 formation. Sandesh Jhingan is a big miss from the Playing XI. Jeje and Balwant are not starting as they were among the seven. Sunil Chhetri did not travel with the squad as he's nursing an ankle injury.
Jerry Lalrinzuala, a full-back for Chennaiyin FC, is playing as a left-winger. Subhasish Bose is back to his natural left-back position.
Jordan Playing XI: Shafi (GK); Al-Zawahreh, Al-Basha, Al-Arab; Haddad, Zghayer, Sameer, Bani Attiah, Al-Bakhit; Al-Ersan; Baha' Faisal.
And Gurpreet will captain India against Jordan tonight.
India Playing XI - Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (GK) (C); Pritam Kotal, Salam Ranjan Singh, Anas Edathodika, Subhasish Bose, Jerry Lalrinzuala; Pronay Halder, Germanpreet Singh, Jackichand Singh, Vinit Rai; Anirudh Thapa.
Predicted XI for Jordan: Moataz Yaseen (GK), Mohammad Al-Dumeiri, Bara Marei, Ihsan Haddad, Yaseen Al-Bakhit, Mahmoud Al-Mardi, S Alajalin, Munther Abu Amarah, Ahmed Al-Ersan, Baha' Faisal Mohammad Seif, Musa Al-Taamari
Probable XI for India: Gurpreet Singh Sandhu (GK), Narayan Das, Subhasish Bose, Sandesh Jhingan, Pritam Kotal, Halicharan Narzary, Pronay Halder, Anirudh Thapa, Udanta Singh, Balwant Singh, Jeje Lalpekhlua
The weather in Amman right now is around 18 degree Celsius and will drop to about 16 in two hours.
The skies are clear too and there's little or no chance of rainfall in the evening.
Wondering what Jordan play like? We have got you covered with a quick piece.
Read here.
Quick fact - India goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu has maintained four consecutive clean sheets in internationals. He has not conceded in 378 minutes. Wall.
In the absence of Sunil Chhetri, India's misfiring forward line has to take up the responsibility. The onus is on Jeje Lalpekhlua and Balwant Singh to lead the way for India against Jordan. Balwant has struck once in the ISL for ATK, while Jeje is yet to find the back of the net for Chennaiyin FC.
Manvir Singh and Sumeet Passi are the other two forwards, who are expected to start from the bench.
The Indian national team will be without prolific forward Sunil Chhetri for the tie. However, Indian national team coach Stephen Constantine feels it's an opportunity for others to rise to the occasion against Jordan tonight.
"Sunil missing for the clash against Jordan is a big blow for us. He is a great player and has been fantastic for us. He is one of those player that is irreplaceable but somebody has to take his place for the match against Jordan," Constantine said before India's departure.
"However it is a great opportunity for young players to step up and although you cannot find a player of his calibre and class we need to see if the young player step up and take this opportunity. We need to find somebody who will be there when we don’t have Sunil Chhetri so that there is no void left in the team," Constantine added.

Marred with Chhetri's absence and cancelled flights, the Indian National Team will not be the best bet as they go head to head with Jordan for the very first time.

Jordan and India have never faced each other in the past as far as Football is concerned. It will be a tough test for Constantine's men.

The Blue Tigers will miss Captain Sunil Chhetri as he suffered an ankle injury during the Bengaluru-Kerala game after a challenge from fellow National Team compatriot Sandesh Jhingan. There was more drama as seven National Team members - Jeje Lalpekhlua, Balwant Singh, Manvir Singh, Sumeet Passi, Udanta Singh, Halicharan Narzary and Ashique Kuruniyan - were stranded for about 32 hours at the Kuwait International Airport due to flash floods in the City, which led to the cancellation of their flight to Amman.

Initial Reports stated that the game was called off but the Jordan FA and the Indian FA declared the game is a 'go', disappointing the physically exhausted Indian side.

Jordan come into this game with a slender 1-2 loss to Croatia and will surely have the edge over the travelling Indian side.

Head Coach Stephen Constantine will hope that Balwant Singh and Jeje Lalpekhlua do not disappoint and find their 'scoring boots' to fill the void at the front left by Chhetri.

The game kicks-off at 10:30 PM IST at the King Abdullah Stadium, Amman. It will be broadcast Live on Star Sports 2, 3, 1 Tamil, Jalsha Movies HD, Hotstar and Jio TV in the Indian subcontinent.
