It has been great fun covering the game! Until next time from everyone here at Sportskeeda, Ciao!
Manchester City were at their dominant best today and some brilliant performances from Kevin De Bruyne, Sterling, Gundogan and Iheanacho would have really pleased Pep Guardiola. Bournemouth, on the other hand, were completely outclassed and they will be looking to get this result out of the system as quickly as possible
Peep! Peep! Peep! FT: Manchester City 4-0 Bournemouth
90' We have 3 minutes of added time and Pep Guardiola will be really happy with Manchester City's performance today.
89' Time is running out here and they are keeping the ball very comfortably
86' DRAMA! Nolito gets a red card! The Spanish winger and Smith come together on the touch-line. Nolito and Smith go face to face with the referee sending off Nolito for an alleged head butt!
84' SHOT! Bournemouth almost score a consolation through Wilson whose shot goes just wide
82' Alex Garcia plays a lovely raking pass out on to the wings to Leroy Sane. The young German unleashes an ambitious left-shooted shot from way outside the box which goes flying into the crowd. Sane will need to do much better if he is to hope for a starting spot under Pep.
80' 10 minutes remaining in the game and City have relaxed slightly almost playing the game at walking pace.
76' BOURNEMOUTH HIT THE POST! Brad Smith makes a buccaneering run from the full-back position but Smith's shot hits the bar! Bad luck for Bournemouth
74' Manchester City make another change as the brilliant KDB comes off to be replaced by youngster Alex Garcia
73' Bournemouth make another change as Stanislas comes off to be replaced by Max Gradel
71' Kevin De Bruyne has been absolutely unplayable today. The assist to Gundogan was a thing of beauty and he looks like an early contender for the PFA player of the year award. Absolutely sensational stuff by the Belgian playmaker
68' Jack Wilshere's miserable time finally comes to an end as he is replaced by Dan Gosling.
Manchester City also make a change with Gundogan coming off to be replaced by Leroy Sane
66' GOOOOOAAALLLLLLLLLLL! Gundogan scores on his Premier League debut! No prizes for guessing who got the assist! Kevin De Bruyne plays a wonderful through ball and Gundogan who had made a wonderful run to the box made no mistake in scoring.
Manchester City 4-0 Bournemouth
63' STERLING HITS THE POST! The Manchester City winger goes on a rampaging run and goes past 5 Bournemouth defenders before striking his shot to the post. The English winger is definitely looking worth the 50million now!
60' After one hour of the match, all I can say is that Manchester City really look like a team capable of winning the Premier League! Superb football played today by City
59' Some time being taken here to treat Bournemouth GK Boruc who injured himself while trying to block Iheanacho
56' SHOT! Manchester City once again unlock the Bournemouth defence and Sterling's fierce left-footed shot goes just wide! Sterling looks in the mood today!
55' SHOT! Callum Wilson dances around the City and fashions a chance from outside the box, but it is saved well by Bravo
53' Manchester City are on fire! They are absolutely playing Bournemouth out of the park and it looks like it will be a tennis score at the end of this game if City continue their momentum
51' Pep Guardiola makes a change. Otamendi comes off to be replace by John Stones
48' GOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL! Sterling scores! City break at electric pace and De Bruyne released Iheanacho who unselfishly put it on a plate for Sterling who tapped it in!
Manchester City 3-0 Bournemouth
Meanwhile, Eddie Howe has replaced Jordan Ibe with Callum Wilson coming on
46' The second half is underway!
On a more serious note, Bournemouth have a monumental task ahead and it will indeed be a huge surprise if they manage to stage an unlikely comeback
The second half is just moments away. All you fantasy buffs, I hope you have plenty of players from Manchester City in your team. They look capable of getting you a lot of points!
250 - This is Man City’s 250th Premier League game at the Etihad Stadium since moving there in August 2003 (W153 D45 L51 so far). Homely.— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) September 17, 2016
Meanwhile an update from the remaining Premier League matches:
Hull 0-1 Arsenal
West Brom 3-0 West Ham
Leicester City 1-0 Burnley
The Belgian scored a wonderful free-kick and soon some excellent work from Sterling helped Iheanacho score his 10th Premier League goal. The only thing which can bring down Manchester City is complacency.
Manchester City are very much in the box seat here and it only looks like a question of how many City can score in the second half. Kevin De Bruyne and Iheanacho were the goalscorers.
HT: Manchester City 2-0 Bournemouth
45' We have one minute of added time here! Sterling meanwhile was on his bike again and showed some quick feet, but he was ultimately crowded out
44' 4-0 in the Champions League mid-week, and now 2-0 up! Manchester City are on fire under Pep Guardiola!
41' Manchester City players have all looked comfortable on the pitch, but De Bruyne, Sterling and Nolito have stood out with their performances in the first half
38' WHAT A SAVE! Sterling should have scored! KDB and Iheanacho combined brilliantly to release Sterling whose shot is saved brilliantly by Boruc! Should have been 3-0
35' BRAVO ALMOST MAKES A MESS! The Chilean goalkeeper commits himself too early and King leaves him for dead, but a combination of Sagna and Otamendi are able to scramble it away. City will do well not to be too complacent
34' City are really playing some beautiful football here and the only surprise is that they have not scored more. Guardiola's imprint on this City squad is distinctly visible
This stat is absolutely astonishing! Iheanacho= goals
10 - Kelechi Iheanacho has now scored 10 goals in the Premier League, despite only attempting 14 shots on target in the competition. Prodigy— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) September 17, 2016
