MATCH REPORT

Man City will be happy with their performance but not with the result. They completely dominated the ball against an Everton side who intended to play for a draw, and the Merseysiders will be happy that they got what they came for. 

Pep Guardiola will have to start looking for solutions for penalties, as his side have missed 3 already this season. Stekelenburg will be extremely pleased by his performance, as he was the main reason Everton escaped with a draw. 

Tom Cleverly, Ashley Williams, and Gareth Barry can also be extremely pleased with their performances, as their effort bore fruit with a point. 
Leighton Baines was sorely missed today as Oviedo was exposed time and again by City's attackers. City fans will be happy to see their captain back in action.

City play Barcelona on Wednesday in the Champions League, while Everton face Burnley away from home next week.
