That is all from our live coverage of the game between Manchester United and Watford. This is Shaurya Vineet, signing off. In case of any comments, feedback or suggestions - do get in touch with me on Twitter @ShauryaVineet.
...
Martial was handed a rare league start by Mourinho and the forward delivered. Assisting Mata for the first goal before getting on the scoresheet himself.
...
The win helps Manchester United leapfrog Liverpool into 5th position, at least until the Merseysiders take on Tottenham Hotspur in a while.
...
Manchester United extend their unbeaten run to 16 games in the Premier League with the win. It was a special-special win for the Red Devils, not because of the result but because they have now accrued 2000 points in the Premier League era - the first English club to do so.
...
90+3' PEEP PEEP PEEP!! Full-Time: Manchester United 2-0 Watford
...
90+1' Manchester United are minutes away from finally moving out of the 6th spot in the Premier League table. It seems like an eternity since they last were on any other position on the table. The fact that they have leapfrogged Liverpool into 5th position - for now - will only add to the joy of the United faithful.
...
90' 3 minutes of added time
...
89' Substitution: Lingard replaces Mkhitaryan - who had a solid game for the Red Devils.
...
Lingard is preparing to come on, this means that Wayne Rooney will have to wait to make his 550th appearance for the Old Trafford outfit.
...
85' Substitution: Success comes on to replace Cathcart
...
85' United have started dominating proceedings once again. Mkhitaryan is being offered too much space down the right and he is using it to punish the away side as he continues to cross the ball into the box from the right.
...
82' HOW DID HE MISS THAT????? Zlatan sprays the ball on the right for Mkhitaryan, who crosses it back for the Swede but bizarrely Zlatan misses it when it was easier to score. He had an empty goal and just needed to direct the ball but he instead kicked it back away from goal.
...
Martial was afforded a rare start by Mourinho and he has delivered with a goal and an assist. But will he be able to retain his place in the starting lineup for next week.
...
80' Substitution: Marcus Rashford replaces goalscorer Anthony Martial
...
78' As I said that, United break with Mkhitaryan, the Armenian takes a swerving shot from inside the box but Gomes is able to parry it away and United win another corner. They fail to make the corner count.
...
77' Nothing conclusive or of note to report here. TheRed Devils are happy to keep hold of the ball and see the game out.
...
If Watford can nick a goal here this game would burst into life. It is far from over here at Old Trafford.
...
74' Watford continue to make their way into United's box. This time it is Deeney who controls the ball and lets it fly towards United's goal but De Gea is there to stop the effort.
...
72' Substitution: Marouane Fellaini comes on to replace Juan Mata as Mourinho decides to shut up shop.
...
70' And now Janmaat misses. Niang makes another foray down the right and cuts the ball across United's box. Janmaat got on the end of it but he blasted it over.
...
Watford have looked more lively after conceding the second. They are pushing Manchester United back in their half as they try and build up pressure, which could lead to a goal. But can they make a come back into the game?
...
66' Niang makes his way into United's box and beat his marker - Blind - before crossing the ball across the face of De Gea's goal but no Watford player could get on the end of it and a huge chance goes begging.
...
64' Mkhitaryan makes his way into the Watford box before pulling it back for Zlatan. The Swede tries his luck from range but fails to get the power behind it and it is saved comfortably by Gomes.
...
Mkhitaryan passes to Zlatan in the middle, who flicks it on for Martial on the left. The Frenchman makes his way into the box under no pressure from the Watford defenders and slots it into the bottom left corner from around the six-yard box.
...
60' GOOAAALLL!!!! Martial scores to make it 2-0!
...
56' Martial goes on another run down the left and beats his marker before passing it to Zlatan. The ball, however, was cut out midway but the Swede won it back before trying to spray it across the goal but the ball ripples the side netting.
...
53' WHAT A SAVE BY DE GEA! Zarate gets the power and the dip from the free-kick but De Gea is equal to the shot and parries it away.
...
52' And now Watford win a free-kick in a dangerous position after Zarate is brought down by Pogba.
...
United are happy to keep hold of the ball and wait for their chance. They are probing forward with intent but are not throwing caution out of the window. Watford need something spectacular to make a comeback here.
...
Juan Mata has troubled Walter Mazzarri's side with his movement in the channels. Can he deal more damage for the hosts?
...
47' Martial goes for goal after being played through down the left side. But his shot towards the far post sails wide of Gomes' post and Watford breathe again.
...
46' And we are underway in the second half!
...
46' Substitution: Daryl Janmaat comes on to replace Miguel Britos for the away side.
...
The players have made their way back on to the pitch.
...
Manchester United have deserved their one-goal lead at half-time. They have been the better side and have created many chances. Despite the heroics of Gomes, the away side find themselves behind but it could be worse and they need to regroup as fast as possible.
...
45' Half-Time: Manchester United 1-0 Watford
...
42' And now Zlatan goes down in Watford's box and looks at the referee for the penalty but he is offside and it is a goal kick for the away side.
...
Capoue had made his way down the right before cutting inside but his run was stopped by Chris Smalling right on the edge of the box. Penalty? Well, replays show that Capoue did go down very easily - despite there being some contact.
...
39' Penalty claims from Watford but the referee waves play on. It was the former Tottenham Hotspur man - Capoue - who was blocked inside the box but the referee is having none of iit.
