18' David Williams
Here is your host Abhishek Kundu signing off. Bye-bye and take care!
PEEP! PEEP! PEEP! There is the full-time whistle and Mumbai City FC are the ISL champions for the first time ever. They have won the game 2-1. David Williams gave ATK Mohun Bagan the lead in the 18th minute but Tiri equalized for Mumbai City FC with an own goal. A goalkeeping howler from Arindam Bhattacharja ended with Bipin Singh scoring the match-winner in the dying embers of the game.
90+4' Marcelinho sneaks past Cy and Vignesh but his shot is collected comfortably by Amrinder.
90+3' David Williams swings his corner-kick and Manvir Singh makes a lovely little glance with his head. However, no ATK Mohun Bagan player is at the far post to poke it home.
90+2' ATK Mohun Bagan makes a substitution.

ON- Marcelinho
OFF- Javi Hernandez
90+2' Bipin Singh gets a yellow card for taking his shirt off.
90' GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAL! Bipin Singh scores for Mumbai City FC.

What a goalkeeping howler by Arindam! A long ball is punted down the field and Arindam comes out of his line. However, he fails to clear it and Ogbeche rounds off Tiri before giving a pass to Bipin. The Manipuri speedster has the entire goal gaping at him and makes no mistake.
87' Mourtada Fall makes a meal of a simple pass as the ball goes out of play. ATK Mohun Bagan win a throw-in in the final third.
86' Tiri goes in the book now for a high boot on Bartholomew Ogbeche.

76' The referee signals for a water-break.
75' Javi Hernandez swings another deadly corner-kick but Rowllin Borges heads the ball out for safety.
74' Manvir Singh skips past Vignesh Dakshinamurthy but Bipin Singh gets his boot to the ball and concedes a corner-kick for Mumbai City FC.

71' Mumbai City FC have made a change.

OFF- Adam Le Fondre
ON- Bartholomew Ogbeche
68' Javi Hernandez swings his corner-kick into the box but Mourtada Fall gets his head into the ball before Sandesh Jhingan and averts the danger.
66' WIDE! Subashish Bose wins the ball in the centre of the park and releases Javi Hernandez in the left flank. However, his final shot is wide. Lucky escape from Mumbai City FC once again.
61' GOOOOOOOAAAAAA-OFFSIDE! Roy Krishna is furious with the decision and the Fijian goes straight to the assistant complaining about it

Javi Hernandez takes the free-kick and Mohamad Rakip flicks the ball into his own net. However, the assistant raises the flag for offside. Roy Krishna was in an offside position but he didn't get a touch. However, the rule book says if he interferes with the play, the referee can deem it to be offside. Correct decision in that sense.
60' Mumbai City FC's Vignesh Dakshinamurthy gets a yellow card. It's a clash of heads between him and David Williams.
58' MISS! What a miss by Hugo Boumous. Mumbai City FC's coach Sergio Lobera has his hand on his head. Hugo Boumous finds Adam Le Fondre inside the box and the Englishman takes a shot. Arindam Bhattacharja pushes the ball straight on the path of Boumous and the Frenchman has the entire goal gaping at him. However, he skies his effort.
56' GREAT SAVE! Hernan Santana steps up to take the free-kick and aims for the top corner. His shot is on target, but Arindam makes a diving save to prevent the ball from bulging the back of the net.
55' A yellow card to Pritam Kotal. The Indian international takes one for the team. Hugo Boumous spots Bipin Singh's darting run down the left flank but is brought down by Pritam.
53' SHOT! Raynier Fernandes skips past a couple of ATK Mohun Bagan legs before taking a shot from outside of the box. However, his effort is saved comfortably by Arindam Bhattacharja.
50' Carl McHugh goes in the book for a challenge on Hugo Boumous.
48' Corner to ATK Mohun Bagan! Roy Krishna lofts a ball across the far post and after a bit of pinball, Lenny Rodrigues has the ball at the outside of the box. He takes a shot. But, it takes a deflection before going out of play. The resultant corner by David Williams is wasted.
47' Manvir Singh curls a shot from the outside of his box. But, his effort ends off-target.
46' PEEP! The referee blows his whistle as the teams resume play after the half-time break.
46' Mumbai City FC have made a change.

OFF- Amey Ranawade
ON- Mohamad Rakip
45+10' There is the half-time whistle by the referee! The scoreline reads 1-1 so far.
45+8' Amey Ranawade lost his consciousness and fell on the pitch after colliding with Roy Krishna. Vignesh Dakshinamurthy was praying to the Almighty for his recovery. The Mumbai City FC right-back was shepherded to the ambulance by the medical staff in the end. That was a scary visual.
45+7' But, it looks like he won't play any further part in the game.
45+6' Amey Ranawade is back on his feet.
45+4' Amey Ranawade is being stretchered off to the ambulance. The game is paused briefly.
45+1' Roy Krishna goes past Mourtada Fall and Amey Ranawade and takes a shot. However, his final shot hits the side-netting. Great individual effort from the Fijian!
45' Three minutes added on.
43' CHANCE! Hernan Santana's half-clearance falls straight to Lenny Rodrigues. The ATK Mohun Bagan midfielder flies a shot with his weaker foot but it is high and wide.
40' Hugo Boumous tries to find Amey Ranawade with a through pass, but the Frenchman's pass is overhit. That was a good overlapping run from the Mumbai City FC right back.
36' CHANCE! Adam Le Fondre crosses the ball from the right flank but Arindam Bhattacharja gets a hand to it just in time. Bipin Singh sauntered past Tiri and was only a fraction of a second late to head the ball home. Tiri's confidence has shaken after scoring the own goal.
35' Adam Le Fondre tries to find Bipin Singh with a headed pass, but Pritam Kotal clears the ball just in time. Bipin is having no joy down the left flank thanks to the tight marking by Pritam.
30' SAVE! Adam Le Fondre feeds a square pass to Hugo Boumous inside the penalty box and the Frenchman keeps his shot on target. However, Arindam Bhattacharja produces a point-blank save to keep his side still in the contest.
29' OWN GOAL! Tiri scores his second own goal of the season as Mumbai City FC are back in the game.

Ahmed Jahouh hoofs a long ball down the line and Tiri heads it backward. However, Arindam Bhattacharja fails to read his pass and the ball ends up in the back of the net. That's a comical error from one of the best center-backs in the league.
27' Adam Le Fondre carves space for himself and takes a shot from outside of the box. But, it is catching practice for ATK Mohun Bagan goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharja who collects the ball safely.
25' Ahmed Jahouh punts a long ball towards the right flank. Adam Le Fondre gets to the end of it, but there is no one in the centre. He feeds a pass to Raynier Fernandes who swings a cross inside the penalty box. But, ATK Mohun Bagan goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharja comes out of his line and punches the ball away.
23' Bipin Singh makes a darting run down the left flank for Mumbai City FC. However, it comes to nothing as Pritam Kotal blocks his cross and ultimately clears it with ease.
20' Hernan Santana becomes the first player to go in the book for a clumsy foul on Carl McHugh.
18' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAL! David Williams gives ATK Mohun Bagan the lead.

Ahmed Jahouh is pressurized by Roy Krishna in the final third and the Moroccan concedes possession to David Williams. The Aussie puts his head down and slams the ball into the back of the net with a  venomous shot. Remember, ATK Mohun Bagan has never lost the game when David Williams has scored.
17' Roy Krishna pressurizes Mourtada Fall and gets the ball caught under his feet. However, the referee judges him to be fouled by Krishna and Mumbai City FC survive another scare. So far, ATK Mohun Bagan's high press has rewarded them.
16' Roy Krishna cuts through the left flank and unleashes a shot. But, Amrinder Singh palms his effort away. However, the rebound falls only as far as Javi Hernandez inside the box. The Spaniard takes a first-time shot but it is off-target.
12' CROSSBAR! Javi Hernandez takes a free-kick from 40 yards out and his shot kisses the crossbar before going out of play. Lucky escape for Mumbai City FC!
11' PENALTY? No. The referee orders Bipin Singh to get up. Hugo Boumous feeds a pass to Adam Le Fondre and the Englishman returns the ball to Bipin Singh. Pritam Kotal nudges him from behind but the referee doesn't award a free-kick to Mumbai City FC.
10' Mumbai City FC's Hugo Boumous dribbles past two players through the left wing, but Pritam Kotal wins the ball from him.
7' Raynier plays a one-two with Adam Le Fondre inside the box and takes a shot. But, Mumbai City FC right winger's effort is wide.
5' A neat first touch from Roy Krishna sends David Williams through. But, Amey Ranawade holds his line perfectly and Ahmed Jahouh comes from behind to dispossess him. So far ATK Mohun Bagan have the upper hand in the contest.
4' Jahouh's back pass is cleared hastily by Amrinder and the ball ends in the feet of Javi Hernandez. However, the ATK Mohun Bagan midfielder tumbles with Ahmed Jahouh and concedes possession in the final third.
3' Now, Adam Le Fondre takes a long-distance effort for Mumbai City FC. But, his shot is high.
2' David Williams takes a shot from distance seeing Amrinder Singh out of his line. But luckily for the Mumbai City FC custodian, the ball was nowhere near the frame of the goal.
1' PEEP! Let's football for one last time.
Next is the National Anthem of India!
Mumbai City FC are up next. They are wearing their traditional sky blue colours.

ATK Mohun Bagan's Roy Krishna needs just one goal to clinch the ISL Golden Boot award. Currently, Igor Angulo of FC Goa leads the pack.
ATK Mohun Bagan's Arindam Bhattacharja and Mumbai City FC's Amrinder Singh are the top contenders for the Golden Glove award. Both of them have kept 10 clean sheets.
Mumbai City FC and ATK Mohun Bagan will cross swords in ISL 2021 final at the Fatorda Stadium in Margao. Both the teams will be eyeing their first ISL title.

ATK Mohun Bagan's coach Antonio Habas has clinched the ISL trophy twice with the now-disbanded ATK side. Mumbai City FC's coach Sergio Lobera, on the other hand, hasn't won the ISL title yet. This is his fourth season in India and his second ISL final appearance.

Mumbai City FC's captain Mandar Rao Dessai is suspended for the fixture as he picked up two yellow cards in each of the semi-final legs against FC Goa. The Islanders played a 2-2 draw with the Gaurs in the first leg before the second leg ended in a goalless draw. After thirty minutes of extra time couldn't separate the teams either, the match went over to penalty shootout. Rowllin Borges sent Mumbai City FC through to the finals by calmly converting his spot-kick.

Antonio Habas declared that ATK Mohun Bagan will miss the services of Edu Garcia owing to an injury. In the first leg of the semi-final against NorthEast United FC, the Mariners played a 1-1 draw. However, the team came out with all guns blazing in the second leg and beat NorthEast United FC 2-1. David Williams and Roy Krishna were the goalscorers, with Roy Krishna bagging both the assists.

In the previous two encounters between Mumbai City FC and ATK Mohun Bagan, it was the former who came on top. Bartholomew Ogbeche was the lone goalscorer in the first match, while the second match saw him accompanying Mourtada Fall in the scoresheet. The Mariners failed to find the back of the net in either of those matches.

Both Mumbai City FC and ATK Mohun Bagan had 40 points in the group stages of ISL with 12 wins and 4 draws to their name. There is very little to separate the two sides and the match could see the winner being decided on penalties.

Prediction: ATK Mohun Bagan to win the 2021 ISL title on penalties.
