A disciplined ATK side complimented by some favourable decisions from the referee allow Antonio Habas' side to go top of the table at the expense of FC Goa with 21 points from 11 games. Mumbai City had several chances to score but all of their chances hit the post, were saved and blocked by a very good ATK defence. ATK were clinical and incisive in their finishing and thus scored two goals which stood as the final gap between the two sides.

44' GOAL! Roy Krishna heads on a loft ball towards Soosairaj who takes his time and places it perfectly with an in-swinger from the distance well out of Amrinder Singh's reach to make it 2-0 in the favour of the away side.

Chermiti sets up Sougou on a platter but the Senegalese's shot of the ball is feeble and straight to Arindam Bhattacharya. This has to down as one of the top moves this season from the Islanders. The ATK defence was just caught napping.
10' Williams tries to find Krishna with a lofted ball, Rowllin Borges is on the way to intercept the ball and bail Mumbai City out of danger.
9' Couple of crosses from both the ends for Mumbai City, but the home side could not find the target men on all the occasions.

Mumbai City FC host ATK in the ISL on Saturday, with both sides looking to catch FC Goa at the top of the table. Mumbai's recent resurgence has seen them waltz up the table, to be level with Bengaluru FC in the third spot. ATK, meanwhile, are three points behind leaders FC Goa, with Antonio Habas's men beating Bengaluru in their last game.Mumbai have won their last three games on the bounce, while ATK snapped a run of indifference with a big win over Bengaluru at the Salt Lake Stadium on Christmas Day.With Modou Sougou breaking his scoring duck for the season in his last game, Jorge Costa will now be pleased to have a few options, despite the injury to Paulo Machado.
