NOR vs HYD Match Result - ISL 2019-20
NorthEast United
1 - 5
A. Keogh 34'
12' L. Colaco
13' Marcelinho
40' L. Colaco
55' M. Yasir
88' Marcelinho
90+4' PEEP! PEEP! PEEP! There is the final whistle by the referee Pratik Mondal and it has ended 5-1 in favour of the away side Hyderabad FC here at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati. Marcelinho and Liston Colaco's brace sandwiched between a goal from Ajay Chhetri did the trick for the Nizams as they finish their campaign with ten points in their bag. Andrew Keogh did score a goal for NorthEast United FC. But, it failed to serve any inspiration for his team-mates. That's it from your host Abhishek Kundu. Do stay tuned to Sportskeeda to get the latest ISL and Indian Football news.
90+3' NorthEast United FC's Rupert Nongrum goes in the book now. The pace of the game has slowed down with constant fouls flying on the pitch.
90' Four Minutes have been added on.
88' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! Marcelinho finally scores the fifth goal for Hyderabad FC with a well-taken shot.

Mohammed Yasir lodges a forward pass and Nim Dorjee, instead of clearing it, feeds the ball to Marcelinho. The Brazilian takes the shot from outside the box and the ball nestles into the bottom corner. Soiram Poirei had dived full-stretch but couldn't get his hand to it.
87' Dipu Mirdha dribbles past three players before taking a shot from distance but his effort gets deflected off for a corner. NorthEast United FC fail to make the most of it.
83' Hyderabad FC's Marko Stankovic takes a good long-range effort from a dead-ball situation. But, the NorthEast United FC custodian Soirem Poirei does a brilliant job to not only save it but hold it too.
80' NorthEast United FC make their full and final change. The Irishman makes his last appearance in India this season.

OFF- Andy Keogh
ON- Alfred Laroutsang
78' NorthEast United FC's Martin Chaves goes in the book as he tugged the shirt of Marko Stankovic from behind.
77' SHOT! Ajay Chhetri dispossesses Nim Dorjee and makes a solo run. But, the youngster becomes too anxious and flies a shot a tad early. It fails to remain on target and Hyderabad FC miss a golden chance to make it 5-1.
76' NorthEast United FC's Andy Keogh is signalling to the bench to substitute him as the Irishman seems injured. Looks like Khalid Jamil will make the final change of the night soon.
75' SHOT! NorthEast United FC's Federico Gallego passes the ball to Dipu Mirdha and after twisting past his marker, the latter takes a shot from distance which gets deflected for a corner-kick. The resulting cross is well-dealt by the Hyderabad FC players.
72' CHANCE! Lalengmawia's long ball reaches his team-mate Ninthoingamba Meetei, who brushes past the challenge of Sauvik Chakrabarti. But, his final pas to Dipu Mirdha is blocked by Ajay Chhetri. The latter is now down in the box and is limping. Remember, Hyderabad FC have made use of all the changes and might have to play with ten men if the former Bengaluru FC player cannot continue.
70' NorthEast United FC win a free-kick from a good position and Federico Gallego floats the ball aiming for the top corner. But, Hyderabad FC's custodian Laxmikant Kattimani is alert to thwart the ball away for a corner-kick, which is well-dealt by the Hyderabad FC defenders.
69' Hyderabad FC make their full and final change. Looks like Adil Khan is injured and by the looks of it, it seems serious.

OFF- Adil Khan
ON- Gurtej Singh
68' CROSSBAR! Hyderabad FC almost scored their fifth goal of the game after Liston Colaco frees Marko Stankovic. But, the Austrian's effort clatters the lower side of the crossbar before coming back to play. What does Stankovic need to do to score from open play?
67' SHOT! A NorthEast United FC player takes a rasping shot from distance but Hyderabad FC custodian Laxmikant Kattimani comes up with an equally beautiful dive to prevent the ball from going in.
66' Adil Khan is clutching his hamstring at the sidelines. That is not a good sign for the Indian national team, who will face Qatar at home next month.
63' Ninthoingamba Meetei chips the ball into the box but before Andy Keogh can score his second of the night, Hyderabad FC's rock-solid centre-back Adil Khan towers to clear the danger.
61' Both the sides make one change each.

ON- Ajay Chhetri
OFF- Sahil Panwar

ON- Soiram Poirei
OFF- Pawan Kumar
60' CROSSBAR! Hyderabad FC break on the counter swiftly. Nestor Gordillo passes the ball to Liston and the latter feeds the ball to Marcelinho. He is closed down but still takes a shot. However, his effort rattles the crossbar before coming back to play.
58' NorthEast United FC's Federico Gallego goes in the book for an untimed challenge in the defensive third. That is not required, boy.
58' NorthEast United FC make their first change.

OFF- Lalrempuia Fanai
ON- Dipu Mirdha
57' SAVE! NorthEast United FC's custodian Pawan Kumar makes up for his mistake as he saves Marcelinho's one-on-one effort. He is showing a contrasting form tonight. He is saving the easy ones and letting go the difficult ones.
54' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! Mohammed Yasir scores the fourth goal for Hyderabad FC. Looks like the away side are on a roll here.

Liston Colaco twists his body past his marker and takes a shot from distance. But, the shot had too much power in it as NorthEast United FC's goalkeeper Pawan Kumar fails to grip the ball properly. Mohammed Yasir swoops like a vulture on the rebound and blasts the ball into the top corner from the penalty spot.
53' Hyderabad FC push the ball forward in the rival box but the NorthEast United FC players hold their line well to deny the away side a shot.
49' The second half has begun on a tepid note. Let's see whether either of the sides can add further to their goal tally.
46' PEEEEEEEEEP! Hyderabad FC make their first change as the teams change their sides.

OFF- Nikhil Poojary
ON- Asish Rai
45+2' PEEP! PEEP! The referee Pratik Mondal blows his halftime whistle as the scoreline reads 3-1 in favour of the away side. Liston Colaco opened the floodgates before Marcelinho doubled the lead for Hyderabad FC. Andy Keogh did cut down the margin for NorthEast United FC. But, Liston found his second of the night to restore the two-goal cushion. Don't go anywhere as we will be back with the second half action at the other end of the commercial break.
45+1' Lalrempuia Fanai goes down clutching his ankle after Sahil Panwar got his tackle all wrong. He goes in the book for that.
45' Two Minutes have been added on.
44' SHOT! Andy Keogh rises above Adil Khan to connect a cross from Federico Gallego but the Irishman misses a sitter by nodding it away from the face of goal. These misses won't help NorthEast United FC to cut down the margin.
43' CHANCE! Martin Chaves chips the ball into the far post but Shankar Sampingiraj heads the ball away. Lalrempuia Fanai takes a first-time effort with his first touch but he fails to connect it properly and the chance gets wasted completely.
41' GOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! Liston Colaco restores the two-goal cushion for Hyderabad FC.

Nestor Gordillo Benitez takes a shot from distance but it gets deflected by a NorthEast United FC player. However, the rebound falls to the former FC Goa player and with his first touch, the newest Hyderabad FC signee rockets the ball into the back of the net.
39' And, Hyderabad FC's interim coach Javier Lopez goes in the book for too much of remonstration.
38' SAVE! The NorthEast United FC midfielders are almost non-existing as Marcelinho has a run at goal after getting at the end of a pass from Liston Colaco. But, Pawan Kumar makes a vital save by predicting correctly that the Brazilian will go for the ground and makes himself big to thwart it away.
37' Nestor Gordillo carves the NorthEast United FC defense open with a through pass and Liston Colaco tries to go past his marker in the right flank. But, his end product lacks power and NorthEast United FC players tidies the things up.
34' GOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL! NorthEast United FC's Andy Keogh finally breaks his duck and gives the home side to fight.

Martin Chaves
swings a cross as Nikhil Poojary fails to block his effort and with no one marking him, Andy Keogh heads the ball low into the net. It is 1-2 here at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati.
33' Hyderabad FC's Nikhil Poojary goes in the book for holding both the arms of Martin Chaves and pulling him down. That was nasty.
32' No, NorthEast United FC's defenders clear the ball with their head but fail to break on the counter as Martin Chaves holds on to the ball for too long.
31' NorthEast United's Pawan Kumar gifts Hyderabad FC a corner-kick out of nowhere as he fails to receive a back-pass. Can Hyderabad FC punish the Highlanders with this chance?
27' The pace of the game has slowed down considerably after the firing exchanges in the first quarter.
24' MISS! What was that from Martin Chaves? Ninthoingamba Meetei cuts past one player and lays a backpass to Andy Keogh. The Irishman crosses the ball into the far post but the Uruguayan fails to time his shot. Instead of the ball bundling the back of the net, it goes outside. That is a technique a defender uses to prevent the ball from crossing the line. Time for Chaves to play on the opposite end of the pitch.
23' CHANCE! Hyderabad FC's Marcelinho attempts a zero angle goal which Hugo Boumous did last night. But, his effort cuts across the face of goal before going out of play. Write it down somewhere, there are more goals in this half.
21' SIDE-NETTING! NorthEast United FC's Ninthoingamba Meetei cuts past his marker on the right wing and takes a shot from an acute angle. But, his effort hits the side-netting.
20' CHANCE! Hyderabad FC completely waste their corner kick and Nikhil Poojary's poor back-pass sees NorthEast United FC's Martin Chaves closing down at the goal. But, his final attempt is meek and Hyderabad FC's goalkeeper Laxmikant Kattimani saves it.
19' SHOT! And now, Hyderabad FC's creative midfielder Nestor Gordillo takes a shot from distance seeing NorthEast United FC's custodian Pawan Kumar out of line. But, the home side goalkeeper does well to tip away the dipping ball.
15' Hyderabad FC take two shots in one minute. The team doesn't have any shape at all. The first one is taken by Marcelinho but his shot is saved by the NorthEast United FC custodian. Marko Stankovic takes the second one, but the Austrian skies his shot despite finding himself in a one-on-one position.
14' GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL! Hyderabad FC take advantage of another NorthEast United FC error and Marcelinho doubles the lead for the away side.

Milan Singh with a wasteful back-pass to the goalkeeper and Marcelinho pounces on it to collect it. This time he doesn't miss from the one-on-one position and bundles the ball into the back of the net after NorthEast United FC's goalkeeper Pawan Kumar commits early.
12' GOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLL! It always felt like Hyderabad FC will score in the opening exchanges of the game. And, Liston Colaco does the honours for the away side.

Nestor Gordillo punts a long ball from one end of the pitch to the other and NorthEast United FC's custodian Pawan Kumar comes off his line but makes a complete hash of it. Liston Colaco says thank you very much and the former FC Goa midfielder buries the ball into the empty net.
10' CHANCE! Hyderabad FC's Mohammed Yasir runs down the right flank and crosses the ball in. But, Milan Singh is at the right place at the right time to clear the ball.
8' SAVE! Hyderabad FC win a free-kick at the edge of the box after Sauvik Chakrabarti is fouled in a very cheap way. Marcelinho steps up to take it but Pawan Kumar collects the ball with ease. That will go as shot on target, nonetheless.
7' SAVE! This time Mohammed Yasir rounds off his marker and releases Marcelinho. The Brazilian takes a venomous shot from distance but NorthEast United's goalkeeper Pawan Kumar has his lines covered and the ball goes out for a corner. Hyderabad FC take two more shots at goal but a host of NorthEast United bodies ahead of them ensure the Highlanders don't concede a goal.
6' Marcelinho again finds himself in a good position with another defense-splitting ball from Liston Colaco. But, he is crowded again.
3' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAA-OFFSIDE! Hyderabad FC's Marcelinho takes a beautiful inswinging cross with his right foot from a free-kick and Adil Khan connects his header to perfection to smash the ball home. But, the assistant raises his flag. The replays confirm that the assistant was right.
2' SHOT! Marcelinho dashes ahead after trapping a lobbed ball from Liston Colaco and the Brazilian takes a shot after finding himself one-on-one with the NorthEast United FC goalkeeper. However, Pawan Kumar gets his arm to it before and the rebound falls to Liston. However, the youngster's effort from distance is wide.
1' PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! We are underway here at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati.
The teams are out of the tunnel. NorthEast United FC are wearing their red jersey whereas Hyderabad FC are coming out donning their yellow jerseys.
NorthEast United FC are coming on the back of a 12-match winless run. Surprisingly, their last victory came against Hyderabad FC, whom they face tonight. Can the Highlanders find their winning ways back again? Let's find out.
It is #9 vs #10 in tonight's game. Hyderabad FC will finish at the bottom spot either way. But, they would want to not hold the notorious record of collecting the least number of points in the league stages of ISL history. Chennaiyin FC only picked up 9 points in the previous season and Hyderabad FC has only 7 points in their bag so far. With this being their last game in the tournament, they would aim for nothing less than 3 points.
Well, apart from Marcelinho and Marko Stankovic, there is no other foreigner on the bench for Hyderabad FC. Is this a sign for things to come in the next season? And, for NorthEast United FC, there are only 15 players on the squad. The Highlanders are playing with an all-Indian backline like their counterpart.
NorthEast United FC, on the other hand, has made five changes to the side that lost 1-2 to Odisha FC in their previous fixture. Jose Leudo, Redeem Tlang, Wayne Vaz, and Rakesh Pradhan are not even in the matchday squad as Lalrempuia Fanai, Rupert Nongrum, Lalengmawia, and Ninthoingamba Meetei replace them. Subhasish Roy Choudhary leaves his spot in between the sticks to make way for Pawan Kumar.
Hyderabad FC have made two changes to the side that was held 1-1 by Jamshedpur FC in their previous fixture. Brazilian striker Bobo and Matthew Kilgallon don't find themselves even in the matchday squad as Mohammed Yasir and Shankar Sampingiraj make their way into the first XI.
And, now it's time for the home side NorthEast United FC.

Starting XI:
Pawan Kumar (GK), Nim Dorjee Tamang, Reagan Singh, Lalrempuia Fanai, Rupert Nongrum, Lalengmawia, Milan Singh, Ninthoingamba Meetei, Federico Gallego, Andrew Keogh, Martin Chaves

Subs: Soram Poirei (GK), Alfred Lalruotsong, Lalthathanga Khawlhring, Dipu Mirdha
And, we have the starting line-ups. First will be the away side Hyderabad FC.

Starting XI: Laxmikant Kattimani (GK), Souvik Chakrabarti, Sahil Panwar, Adil Khan, Nikhil Poojary, Mohammed Yasir, Liston Colaco, Marko Stankovic, Shankar Sampingiraj, Nestor Gordillo, Marcelinho

Kunzang Bhutia (GK), Asish Rai, Gurtej Singh, Ajay Chhetri, Sahil Tavora, Hitesh Sharma, Laldanmawia Ralte
