Welcome to the live coverage of the clash between NorthEast United FC and FC Pune City in Guwahati as the Hero Indian Super League continues on.
...
NorthEast United FC are all set to take on FC Pune City at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Guwahati, at 8 pm tonight.

The Highlanders, who have been on a poor run of form lately, have made the most of their recent managerial change, with former Chelsea FC boss Avram Grant taking over at the helm of affairs.

Languishing in the ninth spot in the ISL table, they have managed only 11 points from 12 games, and if they are to harbour any slim hope of reaching the playoffs, they must defeat Pune tonight.

Under Avram Grant, they have undergone a mini-renaissance after enduring a terrible start to the season. However, the damage done during the early parts of the season was a bit heavy and now they must win all their remaining matches.
