PAN vs TUN Match Result - FIFA WC 2018
1 - 2
Y. Meriah (OG) 33'
51' F. Ben Youssef
66' W. Khazri
FT:  Panama 1-2 Tunisia

The ref brings one of the most horrific games of the World Cup to an end. Tunisia finally get points on the board while Panama head home empty-handed.

That's it from me. Thanks for joining us!
93' Yellow card for Chalali for yet another poor challenge
90' 5 minutes to be added. If anyone really cares anymore
89' What a chance for Panama. A lovely ball whipped into the box from the left, but it's just beyond the reach of Arroyo
87' Final substitution for Tunisia as Khazri is replaced by Srarfi
85' In other news, England are finally showing their true colors and being battered by Belgium. It's still 1-0 though
82' What a chance for Khazri. Released in on goal courtesy a lovely defence splitting pass from Chalali but Cummings just about manages to save the day with a perfectly timed tackle.
79' It's all become rather scrappy at the moment. Gomez now with a horrible tackle on Skhiri and he sees yellow
77' OUCH THAT'S GOTTA HURT! Avila stomps on Ben Youssef and is booked for his efforts
76' Substitution for Tunisia. Khalil replaces Sliti
72' GOOOOALLLL NO IT'S BEEN RULED OUT. Barcenas unleashes a piledriver into the top corner but the ref has blown for a foul instead. Unbelievable scenes
70' Rodriguez with a lovely turn past his marker. He then fires it at goal but it's well collected by the keeper
68' Penalty shout! Sliti cuts past Machado and sticks his leg out to draw contact, but the ref is having none of it. Great decision
66' GOOOALLLL. IT'S THAT MAN KHAZRI. Haadadi finds Badri who has space on the edge of the box. He plays it back to Haddadi who fizzes it across the face of goal. Khazri is on hand to tap it in. Lovely stuff from Tunisia
64' Great chance for Panama but Mathlouthi saves one with his face. That's commitment for you! A lovely ball is whipped into the box from the left but it's palmed away by the keeper. The rebound is struck fiercely by Godoy but it crashes into Mathlouthi's face
62' Khazri finds a pocket of space on the edge of the ox and lets one rip, but it's straight at the keeper
61' Sliti again dances past a couple of challenges, but he's crowded out by a bunch of Panama bodies
59' Tunisia are tearing Panama to shreds at the moment. Sliti picks it up on the left and fires one into the box but it's blocked by Machado
57' Ben Youssef is toying with the Panama defence. Chests one down, lifts it over the left-back and feeds Khazri whose shot is deflected wide for a corner
56' Substitution for Panama as Torres is replaced by Tejada
53' Torres looks in some pain. He's limping off for some treatment
52' Ben Youssef what a chance. Khazri drives through the heart of the Panama defence, and evades two challenges. He's brought down on the edge of the box and it rolls out to Ben Youssef who hits it straight at the keeper.
50' GOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Tunisia equalise. Sliti dances past two challenges, feeds Khazri on the right. He squares it to an unmarked Ben Youssef in the middle and he taps it into an empty net
48' Great play down the right flank by Nagguez but his cross is easily intercepted by Escobar
47' The quality of football on show has been woeful and that's putting it kindly
46' Both teams changing things up.
Torres OFF
Cummings ON

Sassi OFF
Badri ON
We are back for the second half. Tunisia need to find something special to break through this Panama backline.
47' That's it for the first half. Tunisia have dominated the first half but Panama have the lead. Can the Tunisians claw their way back into the game/ Join us in 10 for the second half.
45' Goalmouth action. Khazri finds space in the middle and gets a shot off, it's blocked by a defender and he gets to the rebound which is saved brilliantly by the keeper
43' Ahhh finally some action. Sassi is cautioned for a cynical challenge on Rodríguez who was racing away on goal
40' It's all gone rather stale at the moment. Tunisia looked threatening but the Panama goal has put a spanner in the works
37' Ball is whipped into the box but headed away by Bedoui
36' Freekick in a dangerous position for Panama. Can they get a second here?
33' GOOOOOOOOOOOOOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Massive deflection. Rodriguez picks up the ball on the edge of the box and hits one first time. It ricochets off Meriah and flies into the back of the net. Panama lead. That came outta nowhere and they now have their tails up
30' OFFSIDE. Barcenas races away and looks to have beaten the offside trap. He unleashes one towards the far corner but the linesman eventually wakes up and flags for offside
29' The loudest cheer of the game so far as Ben Youssef misses the ball and kicks his own foot.
26' Panama with a blistering counter, but they are let down by Rodríguez's final ball. That was a chance
24' That can't be legal! Horrific tackle from behind by Chalali but the ref opts to keep his cards firmly in his pocket
21' NOOO Khazri! Lovely ball over the top by Skhiri, and Khazri is through on goal but his touch lets him down and the ball runs out of play
20' OOOHHH what a chance for Tunisia. The corner is whipped in  by Sliti, Bedoui towers over the defence but miscues his header and it floats harmlessly to the Panama custodian, Penedo
19' It's all Tunisia at the moment. Another scintillating piece of football and Khazri again finds some space behind the defence, again his cut back is cleared away for a corner
16' Great block by Torres! A lovely flowing move from Tunisia and Khazri finds himself in acres of space on the left. He cuts it back to Skhiri whose shot is brilliantly blocked
15' A hopeful ball is floated into the box by Ben Youssef but it's easily claimed by the Panama custodian
13' The game has fizzled out after a bright start. Both teams have nothing but pride left to salvage and that is showing in their performance at the moment
12' Corner for Tunisia as Chalali's cross is deflected out by Torres who throws his body in the way. The corner is whipped into the box but easily dealt with by Escobar
11' Machado channels his inner Rory Delap and launches a long throw into the box, causing a degree of confusion. Torres tries to get on the end of it but his header lacks any real authority and it sails out of play
9' Godoy is sent tumbling on the edge of the box and raises his arms in protest but the ref looks the other way inexplicably.
8' Loose stuff from Tunisia in the middle of the park as they gift possession to Panama who knock the ball around without a care in the world
6' What a chance for Tunisia. Sliti cuts back and sends his marker back to the canal, whips a wicked ball into Ben Youssef's path but the shot is well blocked
5' Khazri is muscled to the floor by Avila and it's Tunisia's turn to threaten. Skhiri steps up but his delivery is poor and flies over the heads of his teammates
3' Freekick for Panama in a promising position, Avila to take. The delivery is poor and Mathlouthi claims with absurd ease
2' Wicked ball into the box by Ben Youssef, but a Panamanian defender gets in the way
1' A bright start by Tunisia as Skhiri pumps one long looking for his striker, however Penedo is quickly off his line and danger is averted
And we are ready for kickoff. Panama get us underway, kicking from left to right in their all-red kit
Hernan Dario Gomez, Panama head coach: "I've really enjoyed watching the games at this World Cup and been very, very happy to be here. It's just such a pity that we've been knocked out. We are making history. We can be an example. We can leave a legacy for Panama in the future. It's pivotal to be at a World Cup. It's one of the most wonderful things that can happen in your career."

Hamdi Nagguez, Tunisia defender: "We played two matches against better teams than us, as we were in a difficult group. Now, we should focus on the last match and win against Panama and stop this run of 40 years without winning a World Cup match."

Panama vs Tunisia: Team News

Tunisia's goalscorer against Belgium, Dylan Bronn has been ruled out of the game with a thigh injury. He was stretchered off in his side's previous outing and has not recovered in time. Farouk Ben Mustapha picked up a knock in training and Mouez Hassen too has failed to recuperate after being struck down against England which means third choice keeper Aymen Mathlouthi is set to feature.

For Panama, Michael Murillo and Armando Cooper are both suspended.

Panama vs Tunisia: Probable lineups

Panama Probable XI: Penedo; Torres, Escobar, Davis, Beloy, Barcenas, Avila, Gomez, Gudoy, Rodriguez, Perez
Tunisia Probable XI: Mathlouthi; Maaloui, Meriah, Ben Yousseff, Hamdi, Khaoui, Skhiri, Sassi, Ben Youssef, Badri, Khazri

Panama vs Tunisia: Head to Head

This will be the first meeting between the two sides. In fact, Tunisia have faced only one CONCACAF side in World Cup previously, beating Mexico by three goals to one.

Panama vs Tunisia: Prediction

Predicted scoreline: Panama 1-3 Tunisia

There's nothing but pride at stake for both teams who will be looking to end their campaigns with a win. Tunisia look like the much stronger side on paper and I feel they have enough quality in the ranks to hand this Panama team their third consecutive defeat. There will be goals, it's just a matter of how many.
