Thanks for joining us. Goodnight

...

An outstanding performance by Spurs handed Pep Guardiola his first defeat as Manchester City manager. Spurs were quick out of the box and an early own goal by Kolarov gave Pochettino's men a deserved lead.

Dele Alli then made it 2 to round off a fantastic move.
City tried to fight back in the second half with Aguero leading the charge. The Argentine had a couple of shots saved by Lloris before Spurs had the chance to make it three through an Erik Lamela penalty. Bravo saved it though to keep the Citizens in the game.

City piled on the pressure late on but Spurs held firm to ensure a 2-0 win.

The win moves Spurs to within a point of Manchester City and a point clear of Liverpool
