Hello and welcome to Sportskeeda's live coverage of the pre-quarterfinal match between Leander Paes-Purav Raja and Juan Sebastian Cabal-Robert Farah. To take you through the match, this is Sagnik. Good morning, all!

The Indian pair of the veteran Leander Paes and Purav Raja would face the Colombian pair of Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah in the pre-quarters of the Australian Open in Melbourne on Sunday at 7:30 am IST. 
 
The oldest pair in the grand slam at the combined age of 76 beat the pair of the Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili and the Austrian Andreas Haider-Maurer 6-2, 6-3 in straight sets in the Round of 64 of the grand slam. 
 
Then, in the Round of 32, they faced the pair of Englishman Jamie Murray and Brazilian Bruno Soares whom they beat 7-6, 5-7, 7-6 in a neck to neck encounter. The three-hour match involved the first and the last set going to tie-breakers and Paes and Raja saved a match point in the last set to win the tie-breaker 8-6. 
 
The unseeded pair of the Indians would face the 11th seeded pair of the Colombians in the Round of 16. Naturally, the Colombians are favourites for qualifying for the quarter-final round.
