19-time grand slam winner Roger Federer will take on the 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic in the men's singles final of the Australian Open at the Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne later today. Federer has had a smooth run to the final without even dropping a single set. On the other hand, Cilic has had some tough matches, coming through a tough four-setter against Pablo Carenno Busta in the fourth round and then, defeating Rafael Nadal in the quarters when the Spaniard retired in the fifth set.  By his own admission, the Swiss maestro would have been happy with just one more title to add to his tally of 17 and yet, here he is, twelve months after he won the trophy for a fifth time, Federer is back in the final. Interestingly, Cilic had beaten Federer en route to his US Open title back in 2014 and there are whispers of the past everywhere in this match - Cilic trying to stop Federer from making history, again, Federer trying to stop Cilic from breaking through.
